Not what I expected

Very small, smaller than a hotel room. Booked as apartment but definitely not an apartment. Even no space for a toilet door, so they put a sliding door. Bathroom shower side has only half partition so the water splatter wets the rest of Bathroom. Had only one small shampoo bottle for toiletries. Rain shower head, most of holes blocked. Kettle but no tea bags or coffee. Even no cups in my room. When leaving I spoke to the owner that what he has advertised is totally different but he refused to accept and said this is eco-apartment. Well this is something new for me.

İzmir,de ulaşım kolaylığı ve fiyat performans olarak tercih ettiğim nadide konaklama tesisi . Her gittiğimde bir yenilik ile karşılaşıyor olmam çok mutlu edici . Temiz yıpranmamış yeni nevresimler , yastıklar , rahat yataklar , havlular . Bağımsız kendinizin kontrol edebileceği ısıtma ve soğutma sistemi ( bilirsiniz ki otellerde ya üşürüz yada sıcaktan bunalırız ) Modern büyük oda ve banyo o kadar temiz ki sizden önce tadilat yapılmış zannedeceksiniz . Odalar’da bir bölüm açık mutfak olarakta kullanılabilmekte . Fakat bana alsancağın ortasındayken yemek vs olayına girmek saçma geldi . Kalite önceliğiniz ile uzun yıllar hizmet vermeniz dileklerimle her şey için teşekkürler.

Great Spot in Alsancak

Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean. Well equipped kitchen in room #510. Bright and airy. Wonderful location near public transport, restaurants, shopping and nightlife. Paid 51 euros for one night.

Wi-Fi was spotty when I was there. Guest in the room next door woke me up at 2 am to tell me that she had no hot water. I told her she couldn't have mine and asked her to leave. She did.

Great room, too noisy and dodgy location

The room was super clean and modern, really comfy bed and super big bathroom and rain shower head, everything was really clean and it had a kitchen which made it easy to prepare food with all the essential ingredients. It was a great value for money and was a lovely room.

Check in process was painful, the man didn’t seem to have our booking? We had to tell him all the details and how much to charge us which seemed weird. The hotel is also above a busy cocktail bar and it is SO LOUD, it feels like you are right outside the bar that’s how loud it is, it’s weird because all the windows and doors were shut but it was still so loud. The location of the place is also quite dodgy, in the back alleys of Izmir we saw multiple prostitutes on the corners of the streets which made us feel really unsafe. We made sure we weren’t out too late as we did not want to run into these people as they were literally outside our hotel. The hotel also doesn’t tell you how to get into the place when reception isn’t there so we took a while to figure out how to get in after hours.

Passable

The room is nice, we loved it that's why we wanted it the next week when we came back to Izmir, but the problem was that we reserved it at the front desk not with booking. We told the receptionist that we wanted the same room or a room with balcony. We paid and everything but when we came back, the room that they gave us didn't have the balcony that we asked for and they couldn't give us another room. We end up staying at an other hotel.

NEEDS MAINTENANCE AND DEEP CLEAN!

It is very difficult to evaluate this property. It is in an excellent central location three minutes from the station and trams and the staff are quite lovely plus there is a craft shop/workshop on the ground floor. Apartments are modern but there is a problem with cleaning an maintenance as below.

The problem is mainly cleanliness. When we arrived, the fridge, microwave and hob were filthy and the balcony (one squre metre!!) was littered with fag ends. We complained and a member of staff was provided who undertook an extensive cleaning operation to our specification. There is a double bed but the bed sheets do not fit. The air conditioning unit is right abive the bed instead of being on the opposite wall as is more normal, so you are trying to sleep in a cold draught.The ice box section of the fridge cannot be used as it is completely full of ice and seriously overdue for defrosting. We had to ask for knives as the cutlery was inadeqate.The shower head is of the square waterfall type but it is damaged and water did not flow properly resulting in water all over the floor. The tiles are water stained; white walls have black marks on them and I do feel that with a deep clean and good maintenance this would be worth much higher ratings.

Pretty good!

The staff is so accommodating and welcoming. I traveled to other cities in Turkey while staying at this hotel and the cleaning staff took care of my plants too!

great location

location was great! the bathroom was also pretty good!

could do with a good clean the walls were very dirty! not a problem for us but the location seems to be a bit of a red light district which could be uncomfortable for others.

Was perfect for a short city break right in the middle of a lovey busy area. I would book again

Perfect location. Very close to the tram and bus stop. 3 -4 mins to nearest shops and cafes for breakfast and close to bars but still a quiet location for sleep. The bed was very comfortable with good clean linen.

Was lacking on basic self catering equipment like cups and bowls and I didn't think the floor or kitchen are had been cleaned prior to our arrival

Booked for The Price, Left Earlier for The Cough.

The location and price.

Room made me incessantly cough, you can guess why but I'm doubting untreated mold so it was physically toxic to stay at the hotel. No shower sliding door because it was removed and not replaced so water goes everywhere. Toilet orientation is against a wall so you have 10-15 cm for leg space. Toiletries were half used. Bed cover and towels had permanent stains. There's fights, glass bottles breaking and people shouting loudly at each other every day.

Pleasant

The place is good and near to izban station, there are a lot of cafes around. Our first room (apartment) was good: clean and cozy and we hadn,t any problems. Hot shower, good linen, balkony, cattle and little kitchenette. Very good invertor conditioraire works without noise. And it was warm.

We had a problem when we want to continue our staying for 1/2 day. The hotel hasn,t late check-out with any conditions, we had to book a room again for hole day. And the new room had problems: 1) very smoky!!! Awful smell. 2) we asked to change and got a room with broken roller shutters - we have no sunlight in the room 3) we changed room again - and we had other smoky room again. The shower head was broken and water was around all bathroom. We also had a a blockage in the washbasin. I think the hotel need to be more attentive for rooms.
