Blessed to find a beautiful, well-equipped home with spectacular sunsets and close to everything. Quiet neighborhood, easy check-in/out, and great communication from the host. A home away from home!

This place was perfect, comfortable, cozy and in a great location. Close to restaurants and shops and of course the water, a 10 cruise out to the harbor!!!

Nicely restored home on a quiet canal. Still needs a bit of work, but overall a lovely experience. Host is very nice, great communication.

I recently stayed at this property. It's beautiful and charming! Unfortunately at the end of our stay, we ran into some issues with the sanitary drainage, but the owner promptly arranged for a plumber to come the following business day.
All in all, it was a nice stay. Thank you for opening your home to us!

This is our second time staying here and it’s only become better. New updated appliances and bedrooms. The location for us is perfect as we love to travel up and down the gulf coast so this provides a home away from home for us. Joe has always been nothing but an amazing host I would recommend staying here if you’re looking for a place that has that home feeling. Looking forward to our next trip here already! If you’re thinking about booking don’t think, book it!!

The home was very clean, quiet and comfortable! Would book here again for future trips. Conveniently located a short distance from the ocean.

There are still a few things that still need to be completed after the storm. All and all it is a nice, clean and convenient for people with a boat. The dock has electric on it as well.

Very open living concept. Nice drive to beaches and close to shopping and restaurants. Quick drive to Port Charlotte Beach to watch sunsets (1 mile). Joe is great and it was like being at home when you are not. Very relaxing. Great stay!
3.0
The property was nice but is in desperate need of curtains in the main living area. It was difficult to see the tv during the day and then you felt like everyone was watching you at night.

Nice area right on the water. Perfect for boating and fishing.

The property recently underwent repairs due to hurricane Ian. There were some minor issues but overall we enjoyed our stay. The open concept was nice between the living area and kitchen and the kitchen was well equipped for our cooking needs. The property is in close proximatey to Port Charlotte beach, dog park and shopping. It was a nice quiet neighborhood.

Due to the hurricane Ian damage, Joe and his family and crew did an excellent job restoring the house. They went above and beyond working a lot of hours to get it ready for our stay. We look forward to going back.

Then Ian came and destroyed the home after day 2 of being there. We lost a lot of personal items to the tune of $1,000+. The owner did reimburse our stay - thankfully!

This is a beautiful home in a beautiful location. You can enjoy a quiet neighborhood only a short drive from just about EVERYTHING you might want to do.

Loud! Lots of noise... Door knobs are worn out. Refrigerator was broke but didnt keep cold!
Dirty and needs updated for the price we paid. Knifes and power tools everywhere that we had to watch so kids don't get into.
Loud noises during the night!

Home Comfort
This was a perfect location for the two of us. When we got the address of the property, we found it to be just a little over a mile from where our son and his family were staying. It is a very peaceful area. We were able to easily get to beaches, shop, eat, walk and spend time with family and always had a comfortable place to return to at the end or middle of the day! We would stay again. Thank you Joe!

Great location
All in all it was good. I do feel some up grades are needed. Although beach chairs included they were not usable. Many improvements needed for screen porch. Joe was very accommodating. This would be great for a family with a boat.

Our stay in Port Charlotte
Very easy to check in. Joe was very quick to respond with any questions we had. He was very nice to allow our two dogs to stay with us. Beds were comfortable. Two bedrooms have queen size beds. Only one is a double. Nice if having guests. Very nice water view in back with a lanai to sit and look out. Would like to stay next march, but booked. Hoping someone cancels!

Comfortable home away from home.
Quite neighborhood for the most part. House was just like the pictures showed. Loved the openness of the living room as one wall was all sliding doors going to the lani. The waterway was very relaxing. One bathroom with a large walk-in shower, other bathroom had a tub. Bedrooms were a good size and the bed we used was comfortable. Kitchen included everything you would need and a big screen tv to watch when you wanted to. Would definitely go back to this house!! Host gave us all the info we would need.

Staying at joes
We had a rough start but all ended well Joe was very responsive and we we enjoyed our stay

Centrally located!
The dock behind the property isn’t really one you can kayak from as we had hoped, but it’s a great place to watch the sun go down! We loved the many beach options from this unit, but Gasparilla Island was our favorite! You really need to check out the Twisted Fork as well (we had breakfast and lunch on two separate occasions there). Done except much to do in town, but it’s a short drive to anywhere!

Perfect rental for all your needs!
We enjoyed our time here. The rental was clean and well appointed. The beds are very comfortable. We had a great time. Joe was very responsive to any inquiry. We would definitely stay here again!

Very cute little house; could have been cleaner but host took care of it for us. Host did forget to send us code to get in which took awhile since he was in Canada and we don’t have phone service to there …Great location if you have a boat.

Summer Vacation 2021
Joe was awesome! This property is so clean and so well stocked with everything you will need during your stay. It’s in a quite safe neighborhood and close to everything. We visited a different beach everyday we were there. There is a cute pool just 2 miles straight down the road. We will definitely considered Joe’s property again in our next vacationing future! Thank you for an amazing experience!

Port Charlotte
This property is a must if you have a boat. Nice dock to tie up to. Myself 52, my sister 48 and my Dad 88 stayed here. The inlet beach close to the house is in a nice park with clean restrooms, but be prepared to drive about 40 minutes is you want a beach on the gulf. We ate at many nice restaurants and we were centrally located with this property. Gas grill was nice and the covered screen porch was nice to sit out in.
