About this cottage rental
Come visit this tropical, remodeled vacation home and get a taste of all Islamorada has to offer with cozy, modern and clean outdoor and indoor living! Perfect for couples on a romantic getaway, solo-travelers looking for a work-from-home retreat or families enjoying time by the sea together.
This home offers 2 bedrooms, 1 full bath, fully stocked kitchen, living and dining area with plenty of outdoor living space for the whole family. Park in the covered car port and enter your island oasis overlooking the canal. Sit beneath the tiki where you can relax, barbecue and greet passing manatees. Take a nap on one of our hammocks and hear the rustling palm trees sway in the island breeze. Chat over snacks and spirits under the second tiki and bar stools. The outdoor area has 60' of dockage and a fish cleaning table.
Upstairs you'll find a large outdoor deck — fit with another hammock, seating and dining area. Once inside, you'll enter through the living room, which has a nook with bar stools opening into the kitchen. The fully stocked kitchen is fit with stainless steel appliances and an eat-in counter. The dining table expands to comfortably seat four. By the kitchen, overlooking the front driveway is another balcony — perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or afternoon snack. Through the hallway, you'll come across the bathroom, which has a large shower, brand new LG washer-dryer unit and a vanity area. Across from the bathroom is the second bedroom — fit with a bunk bed and tumble for three. The second bedroom has a desk and access to the front balcony, which overlooks the quiet street and front yard. The master bedroom is tucked away at the end of the hall. It has a king bed and attached seating area, perfect for reading a book or working from home. The master bedroom overlooks the backyard and canal.
The home has reliable WIFI connection throughout (even accessible in the backyard); our daughter has consistently worked from home and taken classes remotely via Zoom with the WIFI connection. It is stronger than our internet connection on the mainland. There are smart TV's in all bedrooms and in the living room.
The house is located on a quiet, residential street. The street is dimly lit at night to protect sea turtle hatchlings that may be nearby, making perfect viewing conditions for star gazing.
The home is within walking distance to Anne's Beach (best public beach in Islamorada) or 3 minute drive by car. Across from Anne's Beach is a public fishing bridge on the bayside, which is great for watching sunsets after dinner. The home is also walking distance to Caloosa Cove Marina, where you can rent or charter a boat, grab goodies at the convenience store, or eat Cuban cuisine at Habano's Oceanfront Dining (a must for a South Florida visit!). Bikes available upon request at no extra charge.
This vacation home is not pet friendly. Additionally, no smoking is allowed on premises (inside or outside of house). Unregistered guests are not allowed to stay overnight at the home; reservation is subject to cancellation if unregistered guests are found staying on property. To prevent this, a copy of identification will be required of registered guests before each stay begins. A ring camera is located on exterior of home.

We had such a relaxing stay at this clean, modern, beachy property. Both inside and outside living areas were comfortable and had every convenience you could think of to make you feel at home. The location was nice - a short walk to 2 restaurants and a bike ride to Anne’s beach. Being on the canal was an added bonus if you like fish or watch nature. The hosts went out of their way to ensure we had a good time - from greeting us upon arrival to texting us recommendations of places to eat ( all of the recommended restaurants were delicious ). If we take another trip to Islamorada we will definitely be staying here. It’s a no brainer!

We loved staying there. The owner was very nice and met us there when we arrived. He answered our call if we had a problem. The house was very clean and they had everything we needed. The Tiki hut was nice also to sit outside and drink a couple beers. We love coming to Islamorada. We bring our boat for fishing and then we get Lazy Days to cook it up for us it is the best. We love the warm weather and the Sunsets at Lorilies. Can’t wait to come Back.

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely, very clean and comfortable home. The decor was modern. We were able to purchase a variety of fish to cook throughout the week. The King Fish Market had a variety of fresh fish each day. Our menus included grouper, flounder, shrimp, and yellow tail to name a few. The patio was the perfect setting to enjoy our dinner. If there were any questions, Alex, the owner of the home was easily accessible. It was a great week!

We arrived at the "We Key House" in the dark, but had no problem getting into the home. Alex was a wonderful host and gave detailed directions on every thing from the entry key to the electronics inside the home. The home was very clean and well supplied with everything we needed. The location is perfect for any water sport you enjoy, or just enjoying the beauty of the islands. We rented a boat from Mary and Bud's Marina for a few days and was able to dock the boat on the cannel at the home. An unfortgetable week for our family in the Keys! Thank you Alex, we will return!

Pictures just don't do justice to this place. So clean, comfortable and spacious. It was just the two of us, but would also be great with the kids. Great location in the middle keys so we were able to plan day trips to Key West and Miami. We rented a 23' boat and were able to park it behind the owners boat with plenty of room. It was nice to walk out the door and jump right into the boat. Be careful though, there's a very friendly, resident manatee that would come up and say good morning, most mornings. There's a cleaning table right next to the dockage. The patio area is a perfect place to have a quiet BBQ or entertain. The car park is covered so your car won't get hot in the sun. The bed in the master is memory foam and was very comfortable and huge. Could go on and on. Great place! 'Great people to work with! Great location! Great Stay! If available...Book it! You won't be disappointed.

We can't say enough great things about this rental. The house is clean and very nicely decorated. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to prepare some of our meals at home when we weren't enjoying the great local restaurants. The house has a washer/dryer that allowed us to keep up with the laundry while we were there and not have to pack as much for the trip.
It was perfect for the our family with two boys - 12 and 10. We loved the large master bedroom with a king size bed and the boys had a room to themselves with bunk beds and their own TV.
The tiki hut and table on the back deck allowed us to eat outside and watch the great sunsets. We spent some time fishing the canal and while we didn't catch anything I'm sure it was our lack of experience more than lack of fish because there were good sized fish jumping out of the water all day, every day. We also loved watching the manatees swim in and out of the canal each day - some even came in close to check us out.
The house is on a quiet side street and was convenient for our daily excursions to the nearby beaches or down to Key West. It was also only a few minutes away from Robbie's where we rented kayaks, paddle boards and jet skis at different points to experience the beautiful water all around us.
We would highly recommend this place for families that want to relax in the Keys and just enjoy spending some quality time together. Alex was great to work with and made sure that everything was perfect for our stay. We hope to do it again some time in the future.

The We Key House was a perfect home base for exploring and enjoying southern Florida. Alex and Lily were congenial and attentive hosts who warmly welcomed us into their home. The home was attractively decorated and absolutely immaculate. Photos can't do justice to the interior spaces. The kitchen was well-equipped and functioned easily for meal preparation. The beds were comfortable and sported lovely linens.
We spent many relaxing hours in the tiki hut, watching the pelicans, fish, and manatees that visited the canal.
The location was great and allowed us to make day trips to nearby state parks, Key West, and the Everglades.
We had a wonderful stay and a welcome respite from winter. It was hard to leave!

Loved this place! Very clean well kept place. Inside is decorated awesome. Wish it was mine. Fished in canal and caught fish. Saw Manatee swim in and out . Outside area is awesome. Great location. Quiet neighborhood. Will stay here again for sure. Owners are great people. Everything we needed was here for us to use. Thanks so much!

We had no idea the house would be so clean and comfortable. We were fine with what we saw on the Internet but it was even better in person! Alex showed us around and gave us a list of nice restaurants and marinas to visit. The neighborhood was quiet, and honestly, we can't think of anything that was unpleasant or a nuisance during our stay. This trip only consisted of me and my wife but we will surely return and bring the kids with us next time. We are so looking forward to coming back!!
