Country Comfort Cottage is an adult retreat for 2 people
fully self contained in a unique artistic studio style building
The cottage is surrounded by light through many windows that look out into the gardens with large roomy patio . Cosy and comfortable open living style . large bathroom with shower over bath Bath is not a spa. All linen towels provided. There is a washing machine for long stay guests cook top micro wave oven and gas oven for those who wish to stay in for meals Dishwasher .SmartTV and DVD
mobile phone reception good for telstra and optus carriers others carriers not so good . guests will need to provide there own internet services . Reception for mobile is good and guests acess for movies will be through teir own phone via a usb cable
we are pet friendly for well behaved dogs and allow dogs inside cottage except on the bed or sofa Property is only partially fenced so not so good for dogs that like to roam or chase wildlife . There is plenty of room for dogs to run around and owners are responsible for doogy poo pick ups

beautiful property in an awesome location.in the most pretty part of the best state in Australia.Very nice host with knowledge of area and a great garden both native and introduced.Only wish we had our furboy with us he would have loved it too.....Peter and Karin Bjorke-Nielsen

The property was in a most idyllic location and the wildlife especially the bird life was wonderful. The cottage was so comfortable and beautifully decorated. It had all the amenities required for a most comfortable stay. Wished we had longer and no doubt will be back.

Lovely surrounds with abundant wildlife. Was so relaxing and peaceful. Nice walks with the dog although she did want to chase the bunnies so definitely needs to stay on the lead. Would definitely stay again.

My partner and I think this is the best accommodation we’ve stayed at in WA. The stone cottage, located on the edge of the Boranup forest, is very private and picture perfect. We saw lots of birds including splendid fairy wrens, spotted pardalotes, scrub wrens, silver eyes, plus ring necked parrots and New Holland honeyeaters. We would love to come back!

An absolutely wonderful stay from start to finish. Cottage was exactly as presented online, with everything we required for our stay. Location was perfect for exploring the local area and beyond. We will definitely be back, have already recommended to family and friends with a number of them already looking to book online.

My stay at Country Comfort Cottage was everything and more than I expected. The grounds are stunningly beautiful, with many trees, shrubs and flowering plants, so many birds! The cottage is gorgeous, very well kitted out and scrupulously clean. Such a pleasure to just sit on the patio with my dog, watch the birds and let the serenity wash over me. Lorna is a wonderful host and I will definitely be going back as often as I can.

This little piece of paradise is the best stress reliever and ultimate relaxer. Music of multiple bird species is truly something. Native flora around cottage is so beautiful. Love this place so much and will return again and again.

My wife and I had an amazing stay at Lorna's cottage - it was a lot bigger than expected and had everything we needed for a 3 night stay to explore the Margaret River region. The gardens around the property are beautiful with a lot of Birdlife which made it easy to relax and unwind. I would recommend this stay to anyone needing a peaceful and quiet getaway.

Wonderful secluded surroundings with amazing wildlife and natural landscape. Beautifully kept property and grounds. Accomodation is unique, comfortable and has everything you need for a homely stay. The cottage design is fabulous with exposed beams, thick walls and a wood fire. Bed comfy and lovely big bathroom. Wine from the owner is a nice touch. Location is great for exploring the south west. Great to be able to have our dog stay with us he loved the big open space to run around. Viewing the kangaroos every morning was a highlight. Highly recommend a relaxing staying here.

So relaxing & chalet was gorgeous. Wood fire going on arrival with wine & chocolates on the table. Beautiful green grounds for our little poodle Max. We all loved the birds & watching the rabbits hop along. Super clean & such a relaxing place to stay. Thank you it was fabulous 🌼

We prefer to stay in cottages, as we like things to be cosy, quiet, and in nice surroundings. We've stayed in more than 50 of them over the years, but only a few more than once. This cottage we have stayed five times now. What makes it stand out are not only the aforementioned features, but in addition the host takes care to make your stay special. Just one example, we arrived on a cold wet afternoon, and there was a log fire crackling away already. A perfect start to our stay.

Loved the sounds of the bird, rabbits running around and cows in the distance so peaceful.
Couldn't fault the cottage, clean comfortable and fire going on arrival was a lovely touch.

We love our winter getaways at Country Comfort Cottage. Perfect property for walks and relaxing in front of the wood heater enjoying the beautiful views of the property and the wine left by the host! Our fur babies absolutely love it here too. (Should note, there was some mill noise from the adjoining property, but this was no fault at all of the host).

My partner and I, and our dog had the perfect getaway at Lorna's property. The surrounds, location, lovely clean little place with everything we needed, couldn't have asked for more! Reading by the fireplace, relaxing on the verandah watching the birds and kangaroos, easy access to Augusta for walks around the Hardy Inlet. Pure bliss. Thank you Lorna.

We loved our stay! The cottage was beautiful and so cosy. A perfect space for two. We loved the woodfire, the many birds outside, and also enjoyed making use of the bocce set. It was a lovely spot to relax and a great location for exploring the Augusta and Margaret River region. Highly recommend!

Beautiful country cottage on stunning grounds. Native garden that would take some serious gardening but is so beautiful. Well maintained and clean pottery in the perfect location. Central to Margaret river, Augusta, and Hamlin Bay.

Absolutely gorgeous! My wife and I really enjoyed our time at the cottage. Nice and peaceful, clean and tidy. We felt truly blessed to stay in such a lovely place for our honeymoon.

My husband and I stayed at the cottage for a week over New Year's. It was clean, well presented, and in a fantastic location. We cooked meals most nights and the kitchen had everything we needed. The bed was extremely comfortable and definitely warm enough, as we were surprised at how windy and cool the evenings were for this time of year.
We will definitely book to stay here again for a cosy getaway and would highly recommend to others.

A lovely cottage best suited to a couple. Very clean and well equipped with everything for a relaxing stay. Although close to Caves Rd there was very little traffic noise, despite it being school holidays and busy everywhere. Easy drive to Augusta and Hamelin Bay.
Lorna was even kind enough to drop off some fresh home grown tomatoes and apricots. The welcome chocolates and wine on arrival most appreciated. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a quiet stay amongst trees and lovely garden. Oh and the birds are beautiful!

COMFORT is the key word. This cottage has everything and not just for being self-contained. It gave us a feeling of warmth and relaxation. Plus of course the magnificent surroundings, garden in full bloom and the many birds. The proximity to Hamelin Bay & it's beach is a definite plus. We can't recommend this highly enough, as our friends did and we'll be back for sure.

We felt so relaxed after our stay. The cottage has everything you need, is very clean, surrounded by karri trees, birds singing all day, and the owner friendly but gave us space. We hope to stay there again. The photos dont do the cottage justice- it's way better in the flesh.

My husband and I had a lovely stay at Lorna's country cottage. The home was beautifully appointed, clean and easy to access. The gardens surrounding the house were gorgeous and the birdlife abundant. We had an enjoyable stay and would happily recommend Lorna's house to our family and friends.
