What to do during the summer?: Our condo is for people seeking peace and quiet but it is close to many White Mountain attractions. What can you do during the summer? Swim in the lake, bring your boat or rent one, waterski. Hike the White Mountains, see a moose and her baby. soak in the hot tub during the day and watch a hummingbird hover, soak at night and see a shooting star, canoe. Take the kids to Storyland for a day of fantasy. Take the kids to the Bridgton Drive in for two first run movies on one of three screens, canoe, visit a secluded pond, take a dip, cast a line, catch a fish, dig up an amethyst, read a book, relax.
You can walk to a nearby Deer hill Mineral site and prospect for amethysts.
What to do during the winter?: Snowmobile! Our association is very snowmobile friendly, unload your sled when you arrive and leave it parked at the door. Ride all day and return home to relax in the hot tub all evening. If you have never tried an outdoor hot tub in the winter you are in for a surprise. Wonderfully warm despite below freezing temperatures or falling snow.
Ski! Downhill or Cross country Sunday River, Shawnee Peak, ski areas are within 30 minutes drive. Sunday river is 30 minutes to our north. Shawnee peak has both day and night skiing. Skate on a frozen pond, ice fish. We supply 4 pairs of LL Bean snowshoes for out guests use.
Cook!! Our well appointed kitchen will allow you to cook up a feast. Try your hand at bread making in our bread making machine. There is nothing like warm freshly baked bread. See the photo below of the corn bread my daughter in law made on her first try at using our bread maker. We put a stew in the crock pot, skied Sunday River and came home to the smell of fresh bread and beef stew.
Relax and do nothing but watch the snow fall.

This place is the perfect place if you are looking for peace, quiet, relaxing vacation and a beautiful scenery.
The host was very fast responding. she made sure that we had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the condo was equipped with everything needed for a perfect stay.

Clean, comfortable, all the necessities - plus a hot tub! Close to Ebenezer’s (our primary purpose for visiting), clear & helpful check-in, check-out, property, & driving instructions (WiFi is great once you get there, but be prepared for rural phone/5G - the hosts equip you well with instructions, do take them along). We had a couple of short hikes around the property and could have done many more given more time. Great spot - would definitely stay again!

We loved exploring the abandoned ski mountain and old lodge from Evergreen Valley. It added a level of excitement to our stay. We went to Maine to ski at Sunday River. It was about 45 minutes, which was kind of far, but worth it because the property was really cool. It's dated, which we did not mind at all.

No complaints about this home. Hot tub was a big highlight for us, and a great way to recover from a couple of days on the slopes!

This sweet and cozy place was our home away from home! The beds were so comfortable, the kitchen has everything you'd need to cook in, shower has excellent water pressure, hosts are attentive if there are any issues or questions. We truly relaxed when we would get back from a daily adventures. The back deck was facing a beautiful wooded area with a path that you can walk and find cool pic opportunities (cool mushrooms, colorful moss, white birches. We even saw a black and white woodpecker! Autumn was in full swing and the colors were illuminated! We will be back! Thank you for the incredible memories 💘🙏

This place is set up for a great hunting four wheeling camping Style vacation. It was a little out of the way for us but we had a wonderful interaction with the owners and have nothing negative to say about their willingness to solve some concerns we had so the remainder of our say was calm and peaceful. Many thanks for them being attentive

Myself being the primary renter of the condo was unable to go but the host was very nice and willing to change the information passing process along to another member of the group. The condo was very well kept and a great stay for the weekend according to my friends. Since they stayed in the winter the most important thing was comfort for them and the condo did not disappoint!

It was clean, and had everything we needed. Very cozy and felt like home. It was so quiet there over the weekend and I could constantly hear a stream running. Would definitely stay again.

The condo itself was great however the road getting to it needs repaired in the worst way. Had issues with hot water heater but the owners took care of it right away. Overall it was a nice stay.

We were visiting friends who own a house on Kezar Lake. This property was perfect for us. Great location for all things around the lake. We played a round of disc golf up the street, visited Mt. Washington one afternoon, hiked some local trails and made smores at the the fire pit at the inn. Overall we had everything we needed and plenty of space.

This place is great! We went for summer vacation and had a fun trip away from the hustle and bustle (traffic) of the N Conway side of the park.
The chemicals for hot tub were are all there and I had that tub spotless in no time.
We enjoyed all the towels and had no problem doing a load in the washer to set up the next party.
Caught some fish in the pond down the block on spinners.
Couldn’t aske for anything more. Owner is excellent communicator.
We’ll be back!!

Great Host and Stay
Deb was a very attentive host, unfortunately, we had changes but she was very understanding and made sure other guests were happy with the stay as my husband and I ended up being unable to stay. The other guests (family of ours) were very happy with the rental and enjoyed their stay.

Stinky bathroom was AWFUL
We got to the condo ... it's in a beautiful location. We opened the front door and were immediately greeted by what smelled like sewage. The main floor bathroom flush doesn't flush properly. It takes 2-3 flushes to get it to go down. The basement bathroom was disgusting and smelled of sewage. I called and left a message for the owner on night one ... no response whatsoever! The only shower was gross with a mildew/soap scum ring around the bottom.
There was a long list of rules - clean the kitchen. When we arrived, there was a coffee stain on the counter and the coffee pot needed scrubbing before it could be used.
The hot tub was nice and worked properly though there was slime all over the back of the cover on the side which was a bit gross.
This condo has very cute bedrooms and lots of linens. The washer and dryer work and are a nice bonus.
Overall ... an okay stay but I wouldn't book this again.

Comfy
Comfy and quiet place. Got tub was awesome. It was a rainy weekend so we did some antiquing instead of hiking.
The shower is behind the door in an additional room within the bathroom. We had some problems finding it then laughed at out ridiculousness
Very much enjoyed our stay. Thank you

Excited but disappointed
We were excited to have a nice place to stay, unfortunately not to be! We got there to find the grill with broken parts didn’t even try to use, hot tub looked like milk, bed is old as *+^•, instructions to operate tv didn’t work. Ended our 2 night stay after 1night. Better luck next time

Beautiful isolated vacation spot
Had such a lovely time staying at Deb’s condo in Maine! Communication and check in were easy and efficient, the place was adorable and spacious, and the hot tub was spectacular. The place is a bit hard to find (especially at night!) but the adventure was half the fun. If you’re looking for to get some isolation and peace, this is the place

Pleasantly Surprised
It's a crazy drive over some rutted roads, but totally worthwhile. The unit is everything you see pictured, no surprises. It was clean and very homey. The folks down at the Inn were super nice too and let us use their grills and playground when family members came for a visit. Thanks for making it so easy Deb!

Secluded and comfortable
This condo is a great deal, it's VERY comfortable like you're staying at a friend's house, which is a good thing imo. I felt right at home, as did my boyfriend and my dog. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots and pans and dishes, the bed was firm but pretty comfortable, the hot tub was so great after a day of hiking, and it's got all the perks of being 45 minutes from North Conway but also being super rural and secluded for peace and quiet. I really enjoyed my stay!

Great winter getaway
We loved our 3 nights at this property. The unit, furnishings, appliances, etc. are simple, but its all you need to eat, sleep, hot tub soak, watch tv, surf the internet and connect. There are about 8 condos and we were the only ones there so very peaceful and quiet. The location is at the end of a road 4 miles from the nearest main road so it is very remote and you get the full feeling of being away in the forest. We found many places and trails to go for walks in the woods. There is a nearby Inn where the managers were friendly and let us enjoy the large wood fireplace and game room.

Overall this experience taught us to be careful about renting on VRBO. Owners can claim any amenities they want, and the company relies only on reviews to police them. Not sure if we'll do VRBO again, for this reason. For us, discovering there was no working fireplace, in spite of "fireplace" being listed under amenities, was a really big disappointment. The owner was very responsive to communications, including when I lost the key--she got me a spare within minutes. The property was clean, though very dated, with a 70s era condo aesthetic. It did feel fairly private despite being surrounded by other condos, because no one else was staying in the other condos. I would imagine it would be less private during more popular times of the year (we stayed in the week between Christmas and New year). We enjoyed the hot tub and didn't find the instructions around adding chemicals to be too onerous. It was nice sitting in the hot tub and looking at the stars on the deck. On a clear night, it'd be nice to have a telescope because there's basically no light pollution. My spouse and I could handle it, but some people may have difficulty with the lid of the hot tub. It's pretty heavy and awkward to take off. There are hills all around, so it'd be great for sledding, though we weren't lucky enough to get snow. If you have a dog you want to bring, be warned that you'll have to keep it off the furniture and beds or bring blankets to cover everything (that's what we did). That's good news, if you're allergic to dogs. The kitchen does have pots and pans and dishes. They aren't great quality (flaking teflon, dented bottoms), so if you're cooking and particular, you may want to bring your own. But the biggest disappointment was the fireplace. We all really wanted a fireplace, so the fact that the property description included "fireplace" on its list of amenities is the main reason we chose this place. We didn't learn that the fireplace wasn't functional until after the no cancellation date had passed. I brought it up with the owner and she said that she put in the notes (not visible on my mobile app) that she has an "electric fireplace." To me, this is beside the point. First, renters shouldn't have to search the fine print to verify the amenities are really there. Second, it is disingenuous for her to claim a fireplace as an amenity at all. She DOES NOT have a place that people can build fired in, so she shouldn't include "fireplace" under amenities.

Very tranquil vacation spot
The area was amazing. You can walk to the amazing trail that leads to the Specked mountain. The place is dog friendly which I was very happy that I can bring my dog. I have a mold allergy and it acted out after sleeping in the bottom floor bedroom, but not sure if there’s anything that can be done since the bottom floor is half basement. However I really really enjoyed the hot tub. So my overall experience was pretty good!

The property was ok but could be maintained better. The inside of the house is on the smaller side than expected which we did not notice from the pictures. The rooms and beddings are clean but we found a number of issues in the house like broken and missing parts which we brought to the owner's attention. I have to say however that the owners were easily reached and was receptive to our comments. There is one thing that somehow disappointing was that the checkout instructions seemed too much "cleaning" for the guests despite paying a cleaning fee. It felt like we did the cleaning and preparations for the next guests except change the linens on the beds -which had specific instruction not to remove from the mattresses .... made us wonder why that is -??At checkout, guests are instructed to load, wash and put away the dishes & other kitchen stuff, empty the fridge, wipe down the range. Collect all garbage and bring them out, not just outside the house but to the main villa. Laundry (wash & dry) the towels -although this one it did say 'if we didn't mind doing'. There were also instructions to basically maintain the hot tub outside -put chemicals and cover properly. This all felt like instructions for a cleaning crew, not guests. I felt the only thing that wasn't asked of us was to vacuum. We don't mind collecting our trash and placing them by the door but i think its too much to ask to throw it out to a location about 2 blocks away. We don't mind maintaining the hot tub in the days that we are using them but it should still be checked and maintained by the cleaning crew after every set of renters/guests. We do our own dishes during our stay and should not be expected to do more than that. Certainly we did not expect to be asked to laundry their towels. These should all be part of the cleaning fee (and the general rent rate) that was collected at booking. I am saying all this (by the way we did ALL that was instructed when we left the property) because we have rented many properties in various states and consider ourselves very good, clean and behave guests wherever we go. We never leave any property in disarray regardless, I just did not expect to be instructed to this extend at checkout.

Chill City
This was a very relaxing week, which was great. This property is perfect for a chill week. I rented a boat on lake Kezar (recommend) from the lake kezar marina, the lake is beautiful. I saw 2 other boats in 4 hours. The property is comfortable and clean, but dated vs pics. TV and Internet worked great. No complaints, would go again understanding this is a good place to chill. Note, Deb is very responsive and was easy to work with. The roads into the property are falling apart, big gaping potholes that can not be avoided. i was in large suv, so not much issue. Would not want to drive a nice car here.

Kezar Lake Vacation
Property manager was easily contacted. We had plenty of room for our family of 4. Grateful for the AC. Very convenient to the lake, trails, swimming holes. For some the location would seem remote (a 45 minute drive to a grocery store) and the place dated, but we wanted remote (a gorgeous area!) and we didn't mind dated as we had all we needed.

Great condo
The condo was great. It was well stocked with everything we needed and the hot tub was amazing. There are quiet a few lakes in the area, hiking trails and beaches. Everywhere we went people were friendly and recommended another place to check out. The in down the road offered a game room, outdoor fire pit and swing sets, and movies to rent. All in all a very successful vacation!

Great Stay
Excellent stay overall. Deb was always quick with responding to emails. Cell signal was non existent but it’s to be expected given the location and there was WiFi anyways. The inn down the road gave us a map of the area which was helpful.

Cozy cabin, close to Sunday River
We had a great stay at Deborah's cozy cabin, just 30 minutes from Sunday River. The hot tub and snowshoes were a nice touch, especially as we were in town during high winds and frigid temps. The kitchen was well equipped, beds comfortable, and plenty of space for our small group. The cabin was pretty easy to find, and parking plentiful. It's a beautiful spot in Maine wilderness.

Great Time All Around!
The entire experience overall was great! The property is remote, but it is lovely to be surrounded by nature and trails. If you need something, there are many grocery stores and such only a 10+ minute drive. The only reason we did not give this 5 stars is we were looking forward to using the hot tub and I think the previous guests did not take the care they were supposed to, so it didn’t reach a high temp until we were about to leave. Other than that, this condo was perfect for a good amount of people and had everything anyone could ever need! Deb also is awesome at replying to emails and clearly cares about her guests having a great time. She has a binder that has lots of history and cool things to check out about the area, which we all found very interesting. Thanks Deb!

Nice comfortable retreat.
I'll echo what other reviewers said, that if you don't mind a 15+ minute drive to get to everything it is a comfortable and well equipped place for a summer, winter or anytime getaway. Owners were very informative and accommodating.

Great location near Kezar Lake
The property was well maintained and fully stocked. The owner was great at leaving information for the area as well as being available. It was a blessing to have AC in the bedrooms, since it was a very hot week. Plenty of towels provided for the bathrooms. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and utencils. Great to have a washer and dryer. Double beds are a bit outdated and uncomfortable, but there were two neat owls that would welcome us home every evening. Overall it was a great location for us and we had all we needed.
