We had a great family vacation at Douphin Island! The beach house was perfect! We had a short walk to the boardwalk. Great place for families!

It was as described and better. Tennis court, pool, and beach all very convenient. Thank you!

It's a rental that allows pets!! Needs TLC most seating in living areas needs replacing, (6 of the 8 pocket lights in kitchen and living area were out, several outside lights out, main light in laundry room out, downstairs sleeping area unfinished(holes in walls, cut-up tarp for curtains, upstairs porches/balconies cheaply done (not enclosed as pictures make it appear), dishwasher in need of replacement. A good time and good location just needs attention to detail. Beds were comfortable, all appliances worked, but please throw the palm branches away and make it look more inviting, "come on man".

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. I gave 4 star for cleanliness, only because of the porches and outdoor things. It could have used a little sweeping up, It sure wasn’t a problem though. inside was beautiful, clean and comfortable! They did have a huge construction project across the street, it was still okay, but had a ton of work trucks, work men, (which had us not really wanting to lay at the pool) and a lot of noise! Everyone needs jobs though, so not really complaining. The walk to the beach was not long at all, and the beach was private, quiet and perfect! I would most definitely choose to stay at this location again! Overall 5 star rating for sure!

Booked this property a few months back but ended up needing the place as a hurricane evacuation plan. The rental agency was so understanding and flexible regarding the length of our stay. The listing was a little confusing (maybe I just missed it?) in the fact that the downstairs isn’t connected inside to the main house. You have to go outside and down some stairs to access. The internet is also so slow is mostly nonexistent. But, place was clean, super close to beach and pool access is awesome for kiddos. Would definitely stay here again!

More than enough room for all 8 of us. Love the private beach and cleanliness of the house.

This house is perfect for a group! We had three adult couples, we could have added more couples. The room downstairs was much nicer than the pictures, and we envisioned a gaggle of kids and young adults sharing it! Very close to the beach and pool in a nice, private community.
Most important to us: dog-friendly. My boy LOVED the ocean.
Unfortunately, our stay was cut short by hurricane Ida, but the communication from the management was outstanding before, during and after our stay.
The only thing that could have improved: the house needed some lightbulbs. I let the management know when we left, and they seemed very interested and ready to fix the issue

This house had plenty of room for my family(we had 9 people 16 and up with two babies under 2). The young mothers had the downstairs to themselves with enough room for the babies' pack and play. It gave them a quiet place to get those important naps in! The beach is quiet and the water calm which was perfect for me (who doesn't like the big waves) and for our budding 18 month old swimmer. With her life jacket and mama's arms she loved the ocean! There was also easy access to the pool for an evening family swim after supper. We loved the house and the location. The only drawback is the lack of places to eat. Many of the local places are only open Thursday through Saturday so that our options slim. (I don't go on vacation to cook the whole time!!!!) So we had to drive 20 to 30 miles for a place to eat. Other than that the island is a quiet restful place to spend time with family and friends!

I recommend you look around the house, there were lots of little extras available to make our stay nice. The island is beautiful. Check out Pirates for a nice meal, the sea lab was a great learning experience.

First timers to Dauphin
Absolutely gorgeous island. We loved the quick walk to the private beach and the pool as well. We rented a golf cart as well which made running around the island so much fun. We will definitely be back to Dauphin Island. The house was clean and had what we needed. A few updates could make a huge difference - the dishwasher had rust inside and some of the furniture showed a lot of wear. But overall we are very happy with our experience.

Quiet, convenient get away
We enjoyed our stay with the house conveniently located a short walk from beach, pool, and tennis courts. The arrangement of the house was perfect for us. Additionally, the kitchen had all we needed. I loved early morning on the front deck. We would stay again!

We didn’t want to leave!
This was perfect for us for a much needed family spring break. The house was great and plenty of space for the 6 of us. The private beach access was so convenient, beach was not crowded, and enough to do with the pool, tennis court, and safe areas to walk. We love Dauphin Island!

Saying Goodbye to 2020
In need of a getaway, we booked a house for the year-end. At almost the last minute, we were informed it wasn't available. We made a mad dash looking for another place and found a great getaway. The crew at ACP were great and made sure everything went off without a hitch. The property was as advertised and we spent a well-needed vacation on the beach to send 2020 packing in style.

Thanksgiving 2020
We enjoyed our stay a Cosita Rosa and will likely stay there again. Location was great. Home was very spacious and well equipped. There were several light bulbs out around the outside and inside of home that need to be replaced for safety.

Nice but needs some work
We found the location and the neighborhood as a gated residential community with a private beach access to be very nice. The community pool was a nice amenity as well. Fairly easy access directly to the water.
Our experience with this particular rental was not necessarily very good. We found upon check-in that the cleanness of the house had a lot of room for improvement. There was sand on the floors and many of the bathrooms did not look very well cleaned. The weeds in the front yard of the house and mold on the wood framing in the stairwell areas was unattractive. Many of the lights inside the house and underneath in the garage area did not work. The unit needs some deep cleaning and a very thorough inspection and repair of the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing needs to be done.
Also, the WiFi worked but there was no internet for our entire stay and despite placing a service call into the mgmt company no one came to repair. This was a bigger issue as no one had more than one bar of cell signal on their devices.

It was perfect for our three families.
The house was wonderful! The neighborhood was very quiet. The beach was close and very nice, not many people. The saltwater pool was a hit with the grandsons. We visited the other beaches, but by far this one was the best. It was just right for a family vacation! We hated to go home!

Family Reunion
We chose this house for our family reunion for the Labor Day Holiday this year and we were not sorry. Perfect location as it is near the pool and boardwalk. The house was perfect for our all adult family. The open living area was plenty of room for all 10 of us and bedrooms were enough for us all. The only negative I would say is the 4th bedroom is on the ground floor, not accessible from the main house so it would not be optimal for small children. The house is nicely decorated and well appointed. The management was helpful in arranging this rental - they gave us several options to choose from for our big group. The gated community was quiet and made for a peaceful vacation. We did not have small children but there was a playground area by the pool for young ones as well as a tennis court. There was a couple of charcoal grills under the house which we took advantage of. Plenty of parking was available under the house as well.
As far as Dauphin Island itself: The island is like a trip back in time. No fancy restaurants, expensive excursions, traffic etc. Just a laid back, fun place to stay. Will definitely return.
