Welcome to The Highview at Stump Pass Place Resort adjacent to Florida's highly acclaimed Stump Pass State Park. Come as you are, kick off your shoes, and immerse yourself into this little tropical Paradise. Located on the southern tip of Manasota Key on The Gulf of Mexico, we enjoy offering couples and family's a wonderful value added vacation and a great guest experience as well.

Enjoy this 4 bedroom, 2 Bath duplex overlooking The Gulf of Mexico. Each floor has its own separate entrance. Each floor has two bedrooms, one bath, kitchen, living room and private decks. Sea turtles lay eggs here every year and don't forget to look for prehistoric sharks teeth (not hard to find) and go shelling at the point.

Great vacation home. Fully equipped with everything you need! We had issues with the wifi halfway through the trip and the property host was quick to respond, even came out the next morning to fix it!

We had another fabulous trip to the island. Love the updates with the TV, sitting area downstairs. Clean, spacious, comfortable and everything you need. You will not be disappointed!

The pictures on the listing are exactly what you will see when you arrive and we were so impressed with everything this place had to offer. We had 10 in our group (18 and up) and it was great. The beach was a short walk, lots of nearby restaurants and things to do. We would return. One suggestion is to have some lights by the grills in the future. The Tiki area on the lower level was great for watching all the new year football bowl games!

We rented both units, they are identical 2br, 1 ba each, separate stairs & entry ways.

The ‘end of stay’ cleaning was a little excessive but probably because we left on an early flight out.
If you’re familiar with the area you know what the area is like. Really good restaurants, beach access 1/4mi away — we didn’t understand how to bring 6 kayaks to the beach without using the car — I really thought the beach access was way closer from the description. We used the awesome bikes everyday.
If you have young kids or elderly or mobility impaired folks traveling, know that the stairs to Unit 7 are plentiful and steep.
Really beautifully remodeled with nice furniture, fully stocked kitchen (supplies & tools not spices), awesome amenities. We loved our stay — 14yr olds up to the 49yo and 7 folks in between!

Our family of 10 stayed in units 6 and 7. The units were very clean and organized. Communication with staff was great for check in.
There is one bathroom on each floor which was a bit challenging for our size of group and I wish that I would have read the description closer. Much of the beach is restricted by property owners (which I have not experienced before). Therefore, it is a fairly short walk to the beach— but feels longer with toting beach equipment, heat, and not being able to set up in front of certain houses.
Charcoal grills were not easy to use- but we figured it out… not real convenient.
Access to kayaks, paddle boards., etc., was a big bonus- but you must have a vehicle that is large enough to transport them to the launch (in the park, 1/2 mile approx away).
We did a tour with Native Charter Company and their customer service was fantastic. They are only a short distance away from the home.

This house is super clean and updated. We rented both units. We had everything we needed.
The location to Stump Pass Park is perfect. Even with smaller children we didn’t miss not having a pool at all. They were plenty entertained exploring Stump Pass. Would definitely rent this again!
This our first time renting a golf cart when staying on Manasota Key and will always do that for now on!

We had a wonderful stay! We rented golf carts locally and it made for a quick trip down the street with all of our gear to the state park. Everything seemed new and clean. They had all we needed indoor and outdoor! We will book again in the future. Thank You!

This Duplex was perfect for our large family. Plenty of parking for our 4 cars.
The kids & adults loved having the BBQ area, Kayaks and bikes. All in great shape and working order! Both 2/1's were clean.
Home is walking distance to the beach and a quick ride to the local restaurants, publix, starbucks etc.
Management replied to my messages quickly.

2 separate apartments were very nice so our babies could sleep in one while we gathered in one. The unit even had a crockpot which I always bring mine so suppers are easy after a day at the beach. We had so much fun gathering shark teeth and shells. Nice beach chairs and wagon for hauling was super nice too! The only thing my girls would have liked was a full length mirror but I was absolutely fine without seeing a full length view of my beach body😂

Amazing Vacation
What a wonderful week we had. We were a family group of 5 adults and 5 children (ages 6,7,8,9 and 10). From the moment we arrived until we left this morning there was not a dull moment. The house was immaculate and there wasn’t a thing we needed that wasn’t there. The grandchildren were very impressed with all the fun water things the home provided for their entertainment at the beach. We would all highly recommend this rental.

An excellent adventure
We had both suites with grandparents below and the kids and grand-kids above. The accommodations were spotless and fresh, we had everything we needed when we arrived. The “toys” came in useful as we didn’t have to go rent them and they were right there whenever we wanted to take a bike ride or kayak. The beach just a few doors down gave us a mile of uncrowded beach and easy access, we had dolphins swimming not 10 feet away from us in the canal. The restaurants were close enough that we could walk to them. The owners made sure that we had everything we needed and took excellent care of us, thank-you! Highly Recommended - We hope to be back again next year.

Family Beach Vacation
Muse along with 8 more members of my family ages from 5 to 50 loved staying at the house. Great location other than having to cross the street and go down about a half of the block to gain beach access, this caused a little hassle with kids but no big deal. All in all we all enjoyed our stay very much and would stay here again.

We had a great family time, The property is composed of two units and each unit might work independently if necessary. They thought of everything ( outside shower, bikes , kayak, tent for the beach umbrellas, lifejackets, games, books, charcoal barbecue, double laundry and dryer). Just pack 2-3 swimming suits, get some food and you are done. The upstairs unit has a deck great for the sunsets. Kids had a great time collecting shells and exploring the island.

Best vacation destination in FL
The house, water gear, location, kitchen stocked with all equipment and utensils, laundry room, outdoor grill area with tables, bikes, etc.... were all magnificent and well organized!!! Great get away with my teenagers that allowed for plenty family time. Maintenance checks on home and guests daily and was there in 30 min to deal with a minor issue for us ;) I cannot wait to revisit next summer!!!

Great Family Weekend
We went with my family and rented both units. They were both very clean and well stocked. We loved having access to the bikes, paddle boards, kayaks, grills. The laundry room was well stocked with tons of beach toys, chairs, coolers, and umbrellas. The beach was a short walk away so the beach carts came in handy with everything that we ended up bringing down to the beach for the kids. We watched (what we could,it was behind another tall house) the sunset and sunrise from the rooftop deck. Grilled out for dinner 2 of the 3 nights. I went down to the public beach by bike one morning to do the yoga on the beach class.
One thing to keep in mind is that when they say that they need you out promptly at 10am, they aren't joking. We were all packed up and just finishing up the check-out list (you have to wash all of the towels before you go which is a first for us, but not a huge deal) and saying our goodbyes. It was 9:50 and the cleaning people show up, sitting in the driveway just staring at the house because our cars will still in the driveway. It was just odd.
Other than that, we had a great time and would go back. It was a great trip.

Quaint, relaxing & FAMILY friendly
I’m not one to write reviews but WOW what a nice surprise. We didn’t know much about the area and chose this location without much research.
Home owners have thought of everything. Our group had both units and ranged from 10 to 70 years old. Something for everyone with a clean comfy home(s), pretty much anything you need for kitchen needs, charcoal grills, outdoor shower, onsite laundry, etc. Endless assortment of toys with bikes. SUP boards, kayaks, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, coolers and carts to manage it all.
Location we found to be relaxing and comfortable. We say tripped to Sanibel and Fort Meyers and young ones wanted to know when we could go back to ‘our’ beach.
You’re not directly on the sand but we didn’t find that to be an issue for our group. Access is a few houses down and then the state park at the end of the street.
Beach was great. Plenty of space to spread out. Shells are plentiful and variety was surprising. Manatee and dolphins in the surf on occasion. Fun spot for young and old.
Communication with the owners was excellent with prompt response. Very nice.

This place was amazing! Beautiful house with a gorgeous view of the ocean. The owners truly have thought of everything their guests would need! You can tell this place is loved; a perfect vacation home. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend this house!

They thought of everything
We really enjoyed our stay at Highview. Our family rented both units for the week. Every morning we enjoyed coffee on the roof with the ocean breeze and first light. The home was comfortable and the hosts thought of everything. There were beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, coolers, snorkel gear, boogie boards, and even carts to haul all the gear to the beach. The bikes and kayaks were great. We went kayaking on the bay several times and enjoyed paddling up to the point where the bay joins the gulf where we saw manatees and dolphins on several occasions. We also liked to walk up to this point on the beach in the morning. The home was clean and there were clear instructions for everything. We had everything we could need. The place is very cute and well decorated. The beds were very comfortable. We spent most of our days on the porch playing games and waiting for the cooler afternoons. We loved the area. It was quiet and not touristy at all. There were tons of shells and shark teeth on the beach. It was a great place for a vacation.

Great place with peekaboo water view
We rented both suites for our family birthday weekend. The suites were wonderful - top notch linens, comfy beds, nicely appointed kitchens and super clean. There was every kind of beach toy imaginable, the bikes were fine for beach cruisers (the kayaks and paddleboards were heavy and cumbersome) and the porch furniture was great. Our only real complaint - despite the photos, the house did not have a direct ocean view from the first or second floor. (You could see a bit of water here and there but not what you would expect to see from the photos on the site) There is a great view from the top deck, but it is accessed by a wrought iron circular staircase, rather dangerous for the elderly, inebriated or just plain klutzy. The outside space was beautiful, landscaping well taken care of and the little yard in the back had two Weber charcoal grills . Everyone tried the outdoor shower (though not all at once) and really liked it. Access to the beach was a block away through the Wannabe resort and the town center was in walking distance, less than a mile. We saw a golf cart that advertised rides back and forth into town, but we never saw a phone number to call, and never saw the golf cart when we needed it. All in all we had a great time and would highly recommend staying at the Hightower complex.
