About this house rental

Luxurious home on your own 1 acre lot, with moutain views, 5 minutes from town. Owned and operated by a retired National Park Ranger.

Luxurious and newly remodeled, 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home on your own 1 acre lot! A short, 10 minute drive to downtown Bozeman, and a mere 7 minutes to Montana State University. Just 40 minutes from Bridger Bowl Ski Area, and an hour from Big Sky! An hour and a half from the west and north entrances to Yellowstone National Park (via West Yellowstone and Gardiner, respectively).

Very large master bedroom with a king-sized bed and huge walk in closet. Master Bath has walk-in tile shower. Two guest bedrooms each with queen-sized mattresses. The guest bathroom has deep soaker tub - great after a long day of skiing or hiking! Another half bath is located off of the kitchen.

The kitchen comes fully equipped with cookware, serving ware and cutlery. Pantry is partially stocked with flour, sugar and routine spices. The kitchen has new appliances specially purchased to give it that retro look. The pictures aren't deceiving - no detail was spared in the custom remodel of the interior of this home.

The front picture window looks out on a pasture where horses graze below the Bridger Mountains. Take some carrots or apples out to feed the horses! This is Montana living! Decks in the front and back of give you choices on where to relax. The front porch is perfect for that cup of coffee, tea or cocoa in the morning. There are large screen TVs in the living room and guest bedroom. Wi-Fi is available. The living room has a wood insert stove to snuggle up against if you have a chill. Firewood is provided.

There is a fire pit in the backyard for those chilly evenings where you want to watch the sunset in the glow of a warm fire. House comes equipped with a pack and play, highchair, toys and games to accommodate young children. There is entertainment for the whole family including board games, boccie, and crochet. There are restaurants and taverns within walking distance of your home. Gas and groceries are close too.

Good proximity to MSU if you see to are visiting campus, and relatively close to the west Yellowstone entrance. The house is updated and very relaxing. The owner is very responsive and we will definitely try to stay there again when the need arises.

Great location

We really enjoyed our stay here! We were traveling through Montana, and this was the perfect R&R spot after a week in Yellowstone. The hosts were great to deal with and prompt with responding. The house was clean, and had everything we needed. The cows across the street we a nice bonus ;) If we ever make it back to Bozeman, we would definitely stay here again.

Good sized house for our family of four that has been remodeled with everything we needed for cooking there. Everything in Bozeman is 5 minutes or less away. Having a washer and dryer was a nice bonus with kids.

My boyfriend and I were up in Bozeman for the weekend looking to purchase a new home. Ranger's Rest was the perfect base camp for our very busy weekend. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The fire place was great for relaxing after a long day! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This is a very nice house that was exceptionally clean. Our group was in Bozeman to ski at Big Sky and the house is on the correct end of town to get to the mountain quickly. There are also a few restaurants nearby, or town is only a couple minutes away. I look forward to staying here again.

This house has majestic views of the mountains past a lovely pasture. The house was super clean and modern with some classic touches. Very good for a three couple stay which is what we were looking for. Lots of dining options and VERY well stocked. We also loved the fire pit out back (used it almost every day) If we ever come back to Bozeman we will restay if available.

This was easily one of the most comfortable rentals my family has stayed in. Plenty of space, comfy furniture, and clean! We had firewood for cozy fires, and we were so pleased to be able to park in the garage. We can’t say enough about our stay and will definitely recommend to friends and family who visit the area. We cannot speak more highly of this house or its owners! We rented this property to have a wedding rehearsal at and Anika worked with us on every little question we had. I fell in love with the property while looking through the pictures and I have to say it is even better in person. The house is so clean and tidy with every amenity you could possibly need. Anika was so welcoming, she stayed in touch with me throughout the stay and even came over to help us get into their shop so we could use it as extra space and actually ended up needing it to get out of the rain. Thank you to Anika and your family for such a memorable weekend and thank you for being so inviting and helpful as we planned the weekend. We most certainly will be staying there again, I think every guest left there wanting to buy the place it was just so perfect. Thanks again!

This was our second time staying at this lovely house. Every aspect is top notch. The owner (Anika) has a very special way of making everything perfect. The location is perfect with a very large yard that is private and quite. If you want the experience of main street, its only a short drive. We will fo sure make this our (go-to) place every time we are in Bozeman.

We had a fabulous time at this rental. The home was very clean, nicely decorated, had a great kitchen, and a lovely large backyard. We had cookouts, campfires and smores and made lots of memories in the very large backyard. The view of the mountains and horses across the street was so scenic as well. The home is a bit out of town and not in a subdivision and the yard was a huge factor of entertainment as we had our son and family-who live in Bozeman- along with two other grandchildren for many dinners and various outdoor games. The owner's daughter manages the property and left some nice treats for us upon our arrival. In addition, we exchanged several messages during our stay. It was perfect for us and we would definitely try to book again next year. Thanks so much for creating such a delightful vacation home where we could make memories!!

We loved our stay at Ranger Rest. It's located directly across from a beautiful 40+ acre field of mares and babies so we we're blessed with hours of viewing enjoyment. Our hosts were so accommodating and everything was perfect.

Great location, toys for our young kids to play with, and our boys loved watches ng the cows and horses in the pasture land across the strret throught the huge bay window in the living room. Great space and a great house!

My husband and adult sons stayed for a week of skiing at nearby Bridger Bowl and found this house to be welcoming and comfortable. The house was roomy, warm and the internet connection was reliable. The location was great with a great view of the mountains. The inside of the house was great with plenty of room and nice bathrooms and showers. We enjoyed parking inside the garage as it was very cold while we were there. Anika was very helpful and concerned about us. We would definitely stay there if the rental is available when we visit Bozeman again.

My family and I enjoyed this property so much on our visit to Bozeman to visit MSU. The bedrooms and bathrooms are large and comfortable making you feel right at home. We needed assistance and the owner came right over and helped us out! I highly recommend this property and I will definitely be staying again once the kids start MSU in the fall and I need to visit them! Thank you so much!!

Loved this house! We stayed for a month over Christmas and didn’t want to leave. The views from the front window every morning were stunning and the wood stove made for cozy evenings. The mid century modern decor is fabulous and loved the memory foam mattress in the master! Would loved to have come back in the summer so we could have taken full advantage of the large yard.
