Our property - ''Just Bluffing'' - is a great cottage with a fantastic unobstructed view of Wellfleet Harbor and Cape Cod Bay. Watch the boats come and go. Stroll the quiet sandy beach. Take a fifteen-minute walk along the beach over Uncle Tim's Bridge into downtown Wellfleet for the morning paper and a cup of coffee. Enjoy any of Wellfleet’s four beautiful ocean beaches, just 2 miles away! Bring along your kayak and paddle around in our beautiful protected harbor. Main floor: informal dining for 6, living room with Flat Screen, well-equipped kitchen, 2 colorfully decorated bedrooms 1 with bunk beds and the other with a full size bed. The first floor has a full bath with beadboard walls. Second floor: A new master suite with a queen bed and a full bath overlooking the Bay and Harbor; master bedroom has a private deck with 200+ degree vistas. “Just Bluffing” has 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths and sleeps 6 people.
Linens and towels are not provided, but can be arranged.

It's a functional beachy, pet friendly property right on Wellfleet bay harbor. Great views and opportunity to watch the ebb and flow of the tide. Tons of wildlife to watch for - seals, a minke whale, herons, buzzards, kingfishers, osprey for starters. Great walk along the beach path into town. Owner super responsive (use text).

The property overall worked well for us! Definitely a small property more well suited to a family with small kids rather than 6 adults. The location worked well for us and the property had a beautiful view. The bunk bed room is pretty small but would work for young kids.

We had such a great time at Mike’s place in Wellfleet. The location and beach were phenomenal, we enjoyed walking into town along the beach and catching sunsets directly from the place. Will definitely come back!

The Wellfleet cottage was perfect in every way. Beautiful view out the back to watch the sunset. Equipped with everything we needed. Easy walk into Wellfleet along the beach. The best location for seeing the lower and outer cape. We rode our bikes to the Cape Cod Rail Trail from the house which was perfect. Close to so many wonderful hikes and trails. Easy drive to Chatham and P-town. October was the perfect time to visit. No crowds and beautiful weather.
The owner Mike was so friendly and answered all our questions in a very timely manner. We would highly recommend his cabin.

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage! Quiet, clean, fully equipped, with direct access to small beach & water … owner was very attentive checking in with us to see how things were. Our dog loved the private beach area, the calm water plus trails nearby. Her first time for alll of it - her tail wagged nonstop. The sunsets really were stunning!

Although we have stayed in Wellfleet a number of times, it was the first time at this cottage. We enjoyed the views of the wharf. The beach was a short walk down a path from the cottage and at LOW tide is a great walk in both directions. One to Indian Neck and the other into town via Uncle Tim's Bridge. The cottage was well-equiped, neat and clean and our host was most attentive and ready to help. We had to change our dates due to bad weather and Mike was most accomodating. Thank you for a super vacation.

This is a great home, set on the beach and in a nice area. We enjoyed walking on the beach, everyone was so friendly to us. My dog, a golden had the time of his life swimming! The owner is very responsive and was a pleasure to work with. Thanks Mike!

Our need was for a two bedroom house. This property was perfect. The location was on Wellfleet Bay with wonderful views of sunsets and with sea breezes that were relaxing. The property is well suited to spending time outside on decks and porches. We were comfortable at all times and enjoyed the wine and beer the owner provided for the guests on arrival.

Can't say enough about our wonderful time in Mike's Wellfleet property. The views were incredible, well stocked efficient kitchen, very comfortable beds. Loved spending time on the decks and using the outdoor shower. Fantastic location in Wellfleet close to everything. Mike was so great to communicate with and so helpful. We will be back!

We had a great stay at Just Bluffing. The proximity to other towns on the Cape was great, the view was fantastic, quick access to Wellfleet by car or a quick walk. The house was just as described and very charming. Beach access was easy, we used the chairs provided by the owner for our morning coffee on the beach. The owner was quick to respond to any questions we had and a great host. Would definitely stay here again!

Cottage is in a great location in Wellfleet -- easy to explore locations all across the outer cape. Or stay and enjoy the local beach and view across Wellfleet harbor.
The cottage itself easily provided enough space for 4 adults and a toddler. We had a lot of fun hanging out in kitchen and living room area.
There were two window air-conditioners in the bedrooms. We found that running both could keep the whole house comfortable.
Local beach is great for kayaking and paddle boarding, though we found it not the best for swimming. Luckily its not hard to reach other excellent beaches nearby.

Super fun stay in wellfleet is Mike’s home, he was super accommodating to our dogs. The house has a gorgeous view, and plenty of beds for larger groups. Will definitely come back!

The house was very cute in the location was beautiful. The only thing about this property that makes me think twice about coming back is that we had to rent our linen's and our towels and our dish towels and our beach towels from a local company. We had to unmake all the beds that were made to put all the sheets on and that takes away from the feeling of vacation. Other than that It was great!

Perfect place for a week on the bay! The house met the needs of three adults and two kids - spent time exploring the nearby beach and kayaking. Very short drive into Wellfleet for ice cream, shopping, and checking out the playground across from Mayo beach. (Didn't try walking into Wellfleet along the beach but it looks possible.) The bunk room was very small, but kids were able to spread out in the living/dining room. Mike was so responsive! One of the best owners we have ever worked with.

If you love the cape, Just Bluffing is in an exceptional location for everything Cape Cod offers. The property has exceptional views, a path to town(20 min walk/max) cozy atmosphere, and beach access. The location offers fishing, shelling, exploring, and relaxation. We would highly recomnend and would love to return soon!

We were delighted to find this perfectly comfortable home with spectacular sunset views of the bay. Ideally located to watch the harbor activity in the distance, the tides going in and out right outside the door, and spectacular sunsets each night. Convenient to walking trails, restaurants, the rail trail and all that nature has to offer in Wellfleet. Mike assured that everything we needed was there and went above and beyond to keep us comfortable and happy. We were there in shoulder season but lucked out with spectacular weather. When it looked like the night might be chilly and we discovered one of the heaters was not working properly he arrived within an hour with 2 brand new ones and set them up. While there he helped us carry the kayak down to the water and found a place where we could leave it so despite my age, my partner and I could then manage it independently for another paddle. We enjoyed every comfort of home in the living area and a lovely primary bedroom with deck and views. Though the other bedrooms were small and lacked the views, they would be fine for children, singles, or a couple who likes it snug

The house was very clean, comfortable, and well equipped and it was wonderful to have a view of the bay from inside and out. Very nice to be able to walk on the beach to town and it was a quick drive to ponds and oceanfront. I just wish the front deck were wider so that more people could sit easily with a water view.

We stayed at ‘Just Bluffing’ for almost 4 weeks July- August. The good news is that the view of the harbor from the cottage is spectacular from both downstairs and upstairs. Sunsets are amazing. A nearby path leads to a beach where we kept our kayaks. The downstairs bedrooms are small but serviceable. The kitchen is small but surprisingly well equipped, but no light or fan over the stove. Grill and outside shower are good. The not so good news is that the house is tired. The outside furniture needs updating. Air conditioning should not be listed as an amenity. There was none on the ground floor. The second floor master bedroom could be amazing, but instead was an oven during the afternoons with temperatures reaching the high 90s. The portable ‘air conditioner’ was not up to the job of cooling a room with a wall of floor to ceiling windows facing west. With a little effort this cottage could be great.

Peaceful harbor location
We rented this charming cottage for our annual mother-daughters weekend. It was well laid out for our 75-year-old mother, who has trouble navigating stairs, as there is a full bedroom on the main floor with a bathroom directly across the hall. The 2nd floor bedroom suite is spacious with a beautiful view of the harbor and has its own little deck. The 3rd bedroom, also on the main floor, contains a set of bunkbeds, making this cottage ideal for young families (not so perfect for a 50-year-old woman but I realize bunk beds are space-savers). The private beach with very calm water is serene and the sunsets are spectacular. My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed walking along the beach & over Uncle Tim’s bridge to downtown Wellfleet. The area is beautiful, with kind people & great restaurants. Mike was a joy to work with. Definitely recommend!

Just Perfect!!!
My husband and I (and our greyhounds) thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay at Just Bluffing. The home was perfect for us ... it was just the right size and was in a wonderful location. We loved being able to walk into town with our greys each morning along the beach, and every day there was something new to discover! We've only been home a few days and are already looking forward to our next visit!

Beautiful Location
The location was absolutely stunning, Mike was a phenomenal host who was very attentive and welcoming, he was there once I arrived and ensured we had what we needed and gave some great recommendations for restaurants! The wine and beer gifted to my friends and I was much appreciated. We thoroughly enjoyed drinking coffee with our dogs and talking amongst a beautiful view of the water. The house could use some updates/a little extra cleaning. However I know the bugs were bad during our visit from some local weather! Overall we thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely rent from Mike again in the future, thank you for being so attentive and passionate about your house!

Mike's cottage's locale overlooking the serene Wellfleet harbor can't be beat. The cottage was a perfect space for our family (2 college kids, senior pup & parents); 20 minute walks into to town for supplies; easy drives to beaches and ponds; outdoor shower; cozy family room. Would love to return some day.

Stunning Views!
We had a wonderful week at this beautiful house by the harbor. The home takes full advantage of its location, and we enjoyed sliding open the big glass doors and smelling the salty air. The walk into town (just under a mile) is a fun one across the beach and over Uncle Tim's Bridge.
We had a couple of questions/requests and Mike was there almost immediately to ensure we had the best stay possible.
Only advice is to bring what you need for the kitchen! The usual staples (a little cooking oil, sugar, etc.) were not there. Not a big deal, just know to be prepared.
We hope to be back again next year!

Amazing Stay in Wellfleet
We spent 3 weeks here and loved every minute! The views from the cottage are spectacular! Watching the tides come in and out never got old and at high tide you almost feel like you are on a cruise ship. Absolutely loved the walk along the beach into town.
Made it so convenient :) The place had everything we needed and the owner was responsive and easy to work with. We loved the quiet location and the real cape cod cottage feel that this home had. Highly recommend!!!
