We met some really nice people while we were sitting out at the fire table. We enjoyed playing bags out in the yard.
It would have been nice to know that we were on a second floor walk up. Not great on my knee.

Amenities were very good - although the room was very small. Bathroom especially was very small. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Location was good

We loved the location. It was nice being able to walk anywhere we wanted to. Definitely will stay there again.

Location excellent- a block to the lake. Nice bed. Fireplace (although we did not use in August.)
There was no staff onsite when we arrived at check in time 3pm. Key in an envelope. Our issue is that we went out in the evening and when we came back, the fire alarm was going off in our room. Turns out, it had been going off for over an hour. We were able to reset the alarm, but very concerning that no one responded to a fire alarm. Turns out, if we had read the letter in the envelope with our key, we were supposed to call on a special red phone out back, if we needed management because they do no stay onsite. Neither the next door neighbor knew about the red phone (she emailed management about the alarm) nor we knew what to do. We called the main number and left a message, since we were ok and had reset the alarm. Management did email us after I left the phone message. I invited him to come check our room-the source of the fire alarm. He did come up and was very nice, but I no longer felt safe. In the future I will always inquire if staff is at the hotel 24/7 and if not, find out exactly what the safety and security measures are. They said the info about the red phone was "all over our literature" but I only found it in that letter, which I unfortunately did not read at check in.

The owners and staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location is wonderful and the room was spotless.
The bed could be a little more comfortable
4.2
It was within walking distance to everything including marina/ water. Amenities excellent.
Room air conditioners were loud while running during night.

location was great and the appearance was quaint and cottage like.
the bed was uncomfortable and the sheets were poorly fitted causing them to shift during the night. the sofa in the living room was also very uncomfortable. our booking listed a spa bath, one reason we chose this option and it didn’t exist.

Location
Terribly soft bed, felt like you were sleeping in a hole. Water smelled of sulfur, shower was very small, room was dated and in need of remodeling.

Perfect location near town and harbor. Nice people.
Room too small, but cozy.

This Inn was wonderful! Check in was easy. Room was so quaint and comfortable! The Inn was within walking distance to town shops and restaurants!

Upon arrival we were very pleased with how cute and quaint the property appeared. The buildings were well maintained and the landscaping was pretty and groomed. We especially liked the fact that each room had assigned parking. Loved that! Our suite looked just like the pictures and we were happy with our decision to spend a bit more. It's too bad they couldn't pay attention to a few little details. Then it would have been the perfect Door County experience.
As we settled in, we started noticing little things that became very annoying. The bathroom was the biggest disappointment. It looks great with the rain shower and the free-standing farm sink. We were really looking forward to our first shower. Then we realized the water pressure out of the rain shower barely rinsed the shampoo out. The hand-held shower didn't work at all. There was no place to set our cosmetics or curling iron because the sink had no counter and there were no shelves. The towels were navy blue and the wash cloths were black. They still had the Walmart tags on them. The bathroom window was right behind the toilet looking out onto the sidewalk. The blind was too short leaving a 3" gap at the bottom. Anyone walking by could get a good look. We had to close off the gap with a towel. The only closet had the type of metal hangers that are meant to not be removed from the pole. We found that very annoying. If they are concerned about people stealing the hangers, I would rather they just buy a bunch of cheap plastic hangers at the dollar store. There were two remotes for the TV and directions on how to use them. We followed the directions perfectly, but couldn't get the TV to work. Finally, we used our own TV knowledge and figured it out. The exterior door didn't fit well and we struggled with getting it to close properly. The bedding for the sofa sleeper was worn, thin and pilly. I'm not going to mention how uncomfortable the sofa bed was because most people expect that. (FYI, you can buy upgraded mattresses for sofa beds.) There was only a small wall hook for coats and no closet for the person sleeping on the sofa bed. Finally, there was no wine bottle opener amongst the kitchen utensils. Why would you not have one when you're surrounded by wineries. Overall, it seems like the place was designed to look good in pictures to entice prospective guests but it did not deliver in the details.

4.2
location, charming appearance
uncomfortable/unsupportive bed, no soap/shampoo/conditioner amenities were provided, wobbly/old furniture, air conditioner that was so loud it was hard to sleep
4.2
The room was clean and very nice except for the bed was very uncomfortable, the windows did not close correctly, the air conditioner had missing vents so the air was very loud and it shot out with no control like you would have with vents. They were short of help so we had to get our own towels from them, empty our garbage daily, make our bed and did not get clean sheets in five nights. They had packets of coffee we could get from them. They also had ice we could get.

This resort is located in walking distance of everything in Fish Creek, even Pennisula State Park (We enjoyed walking in for free and running on the bike trails. We did pay to drive in to hike. We highly recommend visiting this park often.) The resort grounds were beautiful and so well cared for. The furniture around the pool and fire pit were amazing! We loved our little deck and the living space in our suite. The bed was super comfy, which is abnormal to find when away from home. We loved it all!
The loveseat was uncomfortable to sit on for a movie, but it was also a pullout. The cost was a lot for us, but everything in Door County cost quite a bit.

beautiful, spacious, private
pool is only open until 8pm
