3 Bedroom Weatherboard Cottage in Mornington. Walk to beach and shops. 2 Queen Beds and 1 single bed with pull out. Freshly painted and fully renovated with polished floorboards throughout. 2 bathrooms including an ensuite. 1 large living area with seating for 6+ people, TV x 2, DVD players x 2, heating and aircon. Separate dining room. 1st bedroom with queen bed , ceiling fan, air-conditioner, family bathroom, 2nd bedroom with queen bed, ensuite and ceiling fan. 3rd Bedroom with Single Bed and Sturdy Pullout Single plus ceiling fan. Sunroom with small seating area, great for coffee and newspaper in the morning. Modern kitchen with stone benchtops, new appliances and large ceiling fan. Full laundry facilities with washing machine, dryer and iron.
Outside facilities include BBQ, 6 chair outdoor setting with umbrella.
5 minute walk to town centre, beach and a short drive to golf course, racecourse, antique shops and wineries. Reg.No: STRA0423/19

We booked a 5 night stay. Messaged property owner on the day as was not given check in details. No response. Rang owner just before due check in time. No answer. Went to property at 2 pm fortunately we already knew the address as we’ve stayed in Mornington quite often for work. It must of been sheer luck as the cleaner had only just begun cleaning. She told us she was meant to clean next day but decided to do it early. After showing her our booking she told us to come back in 30 minutes and gave us the keys. We had no signal on the TV in lounge so rang the owner, no attempt was made by them to come and rectify the problem. Just said they didn’t know what was wrong with it. So for our whole stay we did not watch TV in the lounge. There was a very small TV in the bedroom we could watch. Very unsatisfactory outcome. I would never stay here again. Unprofessional operators. I hope this doesn’t happen to people with future bookings. Will the booking get missed like ours. No apology what so ever from owners. Brushed the mistake off on to there daughter.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this charming, characterful property. A great location close to beaches and Main Street shops with all the amenities needed for a family. Barbara is a great host.

Excellent location and beautiful home except a few amenities should be upgraded, such as towels are very old etc. Not enough heaters throughout the house. Otherwise it’s been a comfortable stay.

We loved this property - comfortable, cosey & convenient. The owners had provided everything we needed for a happy stay & the location was great. The fantastic amount of off-street parking was an added bonus as we were towing a small trailer.

My daughter and I were very comfortable staying in the cottage, with a great location, and all stated amenities. Barbara was communicative, and house instructions were clear.

A very short drive to Mills Beach which is a great beach for kids. House had everything we needed and is very spacious, quiet and comfortable. Kids loved having a game of ping pong in the garage. The internet was great, would have been good if they had a Fire Stick or similar in the tv so we could watch Netflix etc, but apart from that we couldn’t fault the house and would happily stay there again next time we’re in mornington.

This property was well serviced for occupancy of 6 people, and although showing its age on the outside, the inside decor was well up to standard, and perfect for our needs. Access to the main street and beach front are both within easy walking distance. There is an area outside for sitting and eating on a nice day.

The house was immaculately clean. There was plenty of room for all of us to stay comfortably. The location was excellent. The small bedroom at the back needs a bedside table. We enjoyed our stay.

Close to shops and beach. Very friendly host. Generous size accommodation. Well furnished and supplied. The only downfall while we stayed were the noisy neighbours (late night banging and screaming/early morning drilling and hammering).

Spent 2 great days in Mornington on our driving trip in Victoria. Property location was great for exploring the Peninsula and Phillip Island. The house had everything we needed to make us comfortable and our host Barbara was very helpful, even supplied us with a welcome package to make us feel at home. Highly recommend the property.

This a wonderful property. The proximity is close to shops, beach, supermarkets, restaurants etc. Communication was great with Barbara. I would definitely return as it had everything one would need for a break and it was a lovely stay.

Really enjoyed our stay. Had the best two days at the cottage. Convenient stay to our daughter’s wedding, close to everything and the cottage catered for all our family needs. Highly recommended.

Great location, good communication, furniture lovely but it definetly needs to update kitchen utensils eg. frying pans, pots etc. Dish washer not washing bottom basket. Also suggest full length mirrors in the bedrooms.

Weavers cottage had everything we could ask for in a holiday house. Absolutely everything about this property was ideal, comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, huge family couch to enjoy, heating was superb 😀check in was a breeze, the location first class, we could walk to dinner and to the shops for supplies. Would definitely recommend this stay and when we return we would love to stay again. Thank you so much 👍

We stayed 2 nights at Weavers Cottage as a family of 5 adults. The house is in a perfect location. Close to shops, restaurants and the beach. The house is big with plenty of room to spread out, with a big backyard and plenty of parking. We were in Mornington for my mother in laws funeral so wasn’t a recreational visit but would love to go back. Thanks Barbara

My sister in law and I have just had the loveliest stay. The house is beautifully presented and clean. Lovely betting and towels, comfortable beds and the house overall is just so cosy. The house is a great size, with plenty of space and a wonderful kitchen with everything and more that you would need. Brilliant location and easy to find, and Barbara was so lovely checking in that all was good to go for our trip prior to arrival. We will definitely be back.

Our family had a great time at Weavers Cottage over the Christmas weekend. Walking distance to the beach and the cottage had everything we needed. Perfect layout for a family get away. We will definitively will be returning in the future.
