jungle mansion

I loved the location as it's immersed in the jungle and we could see the most breathtaking sunset. If you want to stay in Kandy is not the right place as it's 20 min by car, but if you prefer a hideaway it's perfect. The room was big and clean. Breakfast is a buffet so you can make your choice and the restaurant is in a nice patio where you can enjoy the nature. The style of the hotel is quite rich and feels like an old mansion, not too luxury but very nice

The restaurant is okish, prices are of course much higher than normal, as there's no alternative nearby

Very good

The staff was very friendly and made our stay very comfortable. The room was also exceptionally clean and neat. The breakfast buffet didn't have a lot of options. However the food that was available was very nice. I didn't quite enjoy the set menu available for dinner. But we ordered a club sandwich which was fresh and delicious. Overall, we had a very peaceful stay there and I would recommend this to anyone who wants to escape the busy town and enjoy some peace and quiet time.

the sunset view on the top wing is incredible. hotel well designed , even for the little details in each corner. the rooms are big , especially the suit rooms , they are amazing . great views in each room.. nice swimming pool. worth the price they r charging . it's on a hill. so quite far away from every thing , but u could enjoy the it in a different way . because of it , you can see the nice views , quiet place with nature sounds , walk on the mountain roads .

only thing is that the road is not possible for big bus to come up, and since it's a small property they only have 1 tuktuk to help transfer.

Fantastic view, lovely staff!

Lovely hotel, staff were so friendly and welcoming. Amazing views from the double bedroom we had. The family bedroom was perfect, so spacious and good shower. Outside our rooms was a lounge area which was great to chill in the evening and play cards. Breakfast was ok, better when the staff knew we were coming and cooked fresh. Great location if you have a driver/transport. Very quiet area. Not far from Kandy city or the tourist attractions. There's 2 pools, but it rained when we stayed so didn't use them.

Was fine for us but there are quite a few steps up to the hotel. Staff help with baggage. The dinner on first night took forever but food was nice once we got it.

Too many stairs from our rooms to the swimming pool, Electricity plugs mostly needed convertors which was not available in the rooms

It is a pity that we stay there only two nights, wish to come back.

An amazing hotel with beautiful colonial-style interiors. The family room was very large and comfortable for 6-person familly. The location of the hotel is unbelievable. You are in the heart of a wonderful forest. In the evenings you can listen to the sounds of nature while relaxing on the terrace. Tasty breakfast and big supper included in price.

The hotel is nice, our room was quite big.

When we have arrived there were no towels in the room. I have left my shorts in the room and realized it only two hour after check-out so I have called to the hotel and asked them whether they have found my white shorts - so the confirmed it and we returned to the hotel to pick them up but they were slightly dirty( very disappointing( Breakfast is OK

Excellent accommodation that exceeded expectations.

The check-in process was great. It was lovely after a long day of travelling / sightseeing to sit in comfy chairs and be given a lovely welcome drink while doing the check-in process. The room was the big surprise, it was huge; it even had another king size bedroom in a upstairs loft !!! The views across the valley were lovely. The staff were excellent and lovely to chat with.

Difficult to fault. It is located a little bit out of the way and some may find it difficult to locate, particularly if arriving at night.

Very good

Location is a little secluded but otherwise felt like a Maharajah here with the furnishing and decoration of the place plus the friendliness of the staff. Room was very very spacious plus a shoutout to the kitchen staff for the nice gesture of providing complimentary snacks in the evening as we were very hungry while awaiting for dinner.

Shower pressure could be slightly improved.

We had only one night in this hotel but it was very comfortable. We had a huge family room which was perfect for a family of 5. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. We were sad we didn't have time to use the pool. We wish we could have stayed longer.
