Hervorragend in jeder Hinsicht

Tempel Wines war das bislang mit Abstand beste Erlebnis während unserer mehrwöchigen Tour durch Südafrika. Stilvoll, wunderschöne Zimmer, traumhafte Lage, sehr sicher, Entspannung pur in einem Weinberg bei Paarl. Tatjana und Tom, die Gastgeber sind einfach großartig. Tolle Weine zum Genießen vor Ort. Sehr gepflegter Pool. Herrlicher Blick auf die Berge. Das Frühstück für umgerechnet EUR 12,50 kann ich nur empfehlen. Das ist jeden Cent wert. Da spart man sich das Mittagessen. Besser geht es nicht. Wir werden 2025 wieder bei Tempel Wines sein, schon gebucht, gleich 14 Tage zum Erholen.

Voor ons een heerlijke ontspanning op eind van de vakantie. Perfect met een woord

Perfecte locatie als uitgangspunt voor verschillende trips. Heerlijke start van de dag met overweldigend ontbijt. We kwamen niets te kort in onze afsluiting van onze Zuid Afrika reis. In de regio verschillende wine-estates voor lekker diner. Afsluiten in mooi zwembad en gezelschap van lieve honden met eenGastheer en gastvrouw die erg behulpzaam en open zijn en zelfs als toegift een kijkje in de winery.

Zeer vriendelijke mensen, zeer verzorgd in alle aspecten inclusief ontbijt, groot zwembad. En mooie locatie.

We hadden wat last van het geluid van een generator aan de achterzijde van ons huisje.

Stunning setting, wonderful staff, friendly dogs and super gracious hosts who do their best to make you feel at home. We loved the spacious rooms, beautiful swimming pool and excellent location - overall a 10/10 experience!

Phenomenal. Breathtaking. Our new favourite get away!

This property is absolutely breathtaking and so peaceful. The views were amazing and right outside your door. The pools were to die for and spent most of our time there in them! I loved that they had dogs on the property and so friendly too! The hosts were absolute sweet hearts and the staff and were so friendly! This is a phenomenal place.

Honestly didn’t like the fact that we only booked for one night 😫

Top locatie!!

Zeer vriendelijk ontvangst door de eigenaren Tom en Tatjana en medewerkers. Wat een super locatie. Fijne kamer met een goed bed. Heerlijk zwembad met fantastisch uitzicht. Een super ontbijt. Altijd tijd voor een praatje. We hebben genoten. Eigenlijk te kort hier geweest, dus komen graag een keer terug!

Tolle Location mit fantastischen Gastgebern

Alles war einfach toll. Die Gastfreundschaft, das Frühstück und auch das Zimmer. Zum Abendessen muss man allerdings mit dem Auto rausfahren. Oder man kauft sich eine Kleinigkeit und isst es auf der Terrasse mit dem tollen view.

Eine tolle Unterkunft für Weinliebhaber!

Die Weinfarm ist schön gelegen und verfügt über einen tollen Garten und Ausblick auf die Berge. Es gab eine große Auswahl zum Frühstück und man merkt, dass Tatjana sich damit sehr viel Mühe gibt. Die Weinbar auf Vertrauensbasis hat uns auch gut gefallen, die eigens dort angebauten Weine schmecken sehr gut. Ein Glas kostet allerdings umgerechnet circa 3,50€, das sollte man einplanen ;-) Es gibt sehr viele Hunde, das mag vielleicht nicht jeder, aber uns hat es gefallen - die weiß-gefleckte Hündin ist besonders lieb und verkuschelt.

Google Maps und auch andere Karten haben Probleme dabei den richtigen Weg zur Unterkunft anzuzeigen. Wir standen bei der Ankunft plötzlich mitten in einem Weinfeld und kamen nicht weiter. Außerdem gibt es dort viele schwarze Raupen/Tausendfüßler, die ihren Weg für meinen Geschmack ein bisschen zu häufig ins Zimmer finden. Das Zimmer und Bett sind außerdem sehr klein - ich hatte kaum Platz meinen Koffer auszuklappen. Da es die teuerste Unterkunft auf unserer Reise war, fand ich das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis nicht zu 100% angemessen.

Relaxing stay in the vineyard.

Very nice wine estate, with a vivid and good energy. Mainly because of the hosts that bring in the hospitable warmth. Perfect breakfast, nice award winning wines, great view from the pool, quiet in the vineyard. Something to cherish.

Great Country Wine Farm

Absolutely charming vineyard locale…grounds are beautifully landscaped with 2 pools (1 infinity) and many areas to sit. Rooms are modern with all amenities. Our hosts, Tom & Tatiana, were the best. They made us feel very welcome & even treated us to a special wine tasting. Breakfasts were plentiful with fresh croissants, cereals, yogurts, fruit, cheeses& cold meats, followed by eggs, mushrooms, bacon etc. Great relaxing place to stay.

Great place with hospitality for wine trip with wine tasting

Very hospitable hosts, comfortable clean rooms, very elegant wines, good place for 2 days wine trip around. Good breakfast and tranquil environment. Our 12 year kids liked it very much!

Great stay on a beautiful wine farm!

Amazing pool area and great hot and cold breakfast! Tom and Tatjana are warm hosts! The room was spacious and the staff were very friendly. Would highly recommend!

Stunning spot with utterly delightful hosts

The location is peaceful while still being close to Paarl, Wellington and not too far to Framschoek etc. The same incredibly warm welcome we received continued throughout the stay, it was like staying with friends! Breakfast was amazing, property stunning, beds super comfortable, views stunning. And the wonderful dogs were absolutely the icing on the cake.

Wonderful place with lovely hosts and delicious wine…..would definitely recommend.

Hospitality of the host’s was excellent throughout. The rooms were really nice and very clean. The breakfast room was lovely especially with the log burner for the colder winter days / evenings. It’s with noting that they do have some dogs which were not noisy at all and very friendly and respectful the whole time we were there.

The heating in one of our rooms was not working, it didn’t greatly affect our stay.

Very good

The host went out of her way to make my stay a pleasant experience. She offered a late check-out without me even asking to give an idea how accomodating she is.

Load shedding (power cuts) is a problem but it is my understanding that she is on the point to install a battery system that will address the problem. Once that is in place it will be my go to place when ever I stay in the aera.

Try the Kattemaai

Brilliant setting. We stayed in the 2 bedroom unit which had its own pool and covered BBQ area. Rooms were well appointed with super comfy mattresses. Scrupulously clean. Breakfast was an event with beautiful scrumptious fresh pastries. Tatjana was a splendid host and went out of her way to make our stay amazing. The wines, our best was Kattemaai, where stunning!

That we only stayed one night.

Exceptional

Beautiful setting, amazing swimming pool, very comfortable rooms, friendly dogs that will gladly go for a walk on the farm with you, exceptionally great communication from the owners and staff, who also do their best to make you feel right at home.
