So handy having the lockbox with the key inside. Good location to the bus route.
- A lot of light bulbs were out.
- The WiFi didn't work in the first bedroom.
- The dishwasher didn't work and there were no instructions to use it. We couldn't find the plug to check it was on.
- The taps in the bathroom were loose.
- The heater in the lounge didn't work.
- No instructions about recycling or rubbish we're provided.

The beds were comfy and clean. The bedrooms are spacious. The location is just fine. Clean bathroom.
Poor internet connection in the morning and no wifi connection at night. A bit pricey for its location. Dirty oven. Non functional bulb in one room.

- Somewhat clean when you look past the mould on the walls and windows
- Could take the dog
- Beds were comfy
- Definitely not a luxury villa. It’s a downstairs flat in the middle of a rough council estate.
- The shower didn’t turn off. Messaged the host and got no reply
- No working light in one of the bedrooms and no plug socket to plug the provided lamp in
- Some walls and windows mouldy
- The curtains to the lounge didn’t fit the window. When you draw them there’s a gap down the middle and on either side. Made for a lovely early morning for my mate sleeping in the lounge
- No parking as advertised. You have to leave your car on the street out of sight

Spacious for family group
We stay for two nights, however, start from second night at 21:30, there is no hot water & radaitor as well.
Moreover, the washroom handle is broken.

Heating Thermostat didn't work at all, we informed the host who arranged a housekeeper visit next day means we didn't have heating for all night, Housekeeper came next morning saying, thermostat isn't working and I dont know how to fix it, Light wasn't working in one of the rooms, housekeeper said he is not electrician so he can't fix it. Internet didn't work, router had red light. Smart TV of no use without the internet, kids were so unhappy their ipads didn't work due to no internet. Door handles were broken. Big rats were running around on the front garden. No private parking. Host stopped replying back on the whatsapp, he was replying until housekeeper came and said he was unable to help.

We were given the instructions simple enough and got the key easily - the was the only positive about our stay. Apart from this - the stay left a bad feeling for us all - with the time of year and 10 of us - hard to find another property - we could not stay anywhere else as we all arrived late in the evening plus we paid alot of money. Plus, me and my family ended up unwell after staying in this property.
False advertisement and very poor property.
I have waited until now to leave my review only because I wanted to give the owners and booking.com the chance to rectify the situation we had experienced but to no avail it has been an absolute disgrace and will not be using booking.com again.
On arrival we were told we could not park in drive of the house (downstairs flat - false advertising), walked in the property and it smelled.
Went into the rooms to find missing wardrobe door, drawers missing from units, cooker had all fat stains running down it, wifi passwords that were given did not work and then we sussed it out.
The shower head kept falling off and lucky I caught it before it hit my child, you could not turn the tap in the bath, kept hitting the wet wall and while in bathroom, I could see things crawling all over the skirting board between door and bath panel - looked like an infestation and damp as it had black mould on skirting. Husband managed to kill them but they all came back - we had to go and buy cleaning products and fly spray. Absolutely disgusting. Plus there seemed to be black sticky, mould stuck on bath at plug attachment.
No sheets for the sofa beds and when opened the sofa beds - all broken and sofa's were dirty. We had to buy sheets for the sofa bed.
I like to strip our beds once we leave a place but I went to strip two beds and that was enough - mould and what looked like blood stains on mattress.
Dowels missing from chairs and mould around windows.
I messaged the owner the night we got there before entering property about the issue with the drive to be then told yes, you can't park in drive (no mention of this prior) - so we had to park off street - street was covers in dog mess. Then when I messaged regarding the issues - no reply until I reached out to booking.com and to be met with eventually a £21.00 refund obvious to me owners only care about the money and not there guests.

It's fairly clean
There was a rude guy shouting at us as soon as we tried to park at the drive way of the property. He was living above of the accomodation we rented. We are at the ground floor. I can't find in the email the instruction that we are not supposed to park there. It wasn't a problem, as we can easily move our car. There was no need to shout and swear at us. I reported to the owner, he said he will speak with the neighbour.
The property was OK and clean when we arrived. But there was an unpleasant smell after few hours coming from the kitchen. We can't identify exactly where it's coming from. Luckily the smell was gone the following morning.
We booked for 10 people but there wasn't enough blanket, towels and pillows for all of us.

great location for a quick bus into the city. quiet neighbourhood. ideal for a trip with the kids
wasn’t as clean as I’d have liked but the linen was spotless and the facilities were all we needed

Quite neighborhood allowed recharge at night after whole day of exploring.
3.4
Friendly place, accomodation was clean and had everything you might need.
3.4
good size kitchen and utensils. good size property to meet our needs as a group of 6.
Limited furnishings in bedrooms eg. no bedside table, mirror, plug sockets, dressing table. Not luxury as described but was modernised.
3.4
Very close to city, shops etc close to it. Very clean place.
Nothing stood out
3.4
The flat was comfortable, clean and spacious.
The area was nice with very good links to the city centre.
3.4
The property was clean and the location was good.
The property had 1 bathroom and for 10 people in 1 bathroom was a challenge in getting everyone ready to go out early.
3.4
Host was excellent. Easy instructions. Easy to contact. Couldn’t ask for more. Location was good. Close to a play park for kids/dogs. Easy access to city via public transport or driving. Loads of stuff nearby. Place was really clean, cosy, good facilities. Friendly neighbours. I would be clear and say, I would stay here again. Any negatives below felt minor, but I’m being honest.
The description was a bit misleading. It’s a ground floor flat, not a villa. Luxury is a stretch, there was an old radiator lying in the driveway (that you’re not allowed to park in). Garden is not enclosed, although private. Neighbours smoke and smell was obvious when they were out doing so, although they were very friendly. A couple of taps were loose.
3.4
The property is very clean and ready on arrival
It does not look like a luxury villa.
