Nice weekend for our family. Everyone loved the foosball table! We took a water mat and tied to the dock and the older kids loved it! Note to families with little ones. The river was very busy this weekend so there was a lot of wake action. The grandkids aged 8,6 and 5 loved it! It was a little too much for the 3 year olds.
One small suggestion would be to provide more plastic plates for eating on the sundeck (and for the little ones inside too).

The bunk beds and game tables were a huge hit with the kids. Adults loved the space, the patio and the boat dock. Beautiful memories were made!

Our family of five enjoyed our stay in this home. There is plenty of space. The beds were comfortable. Our kids enjoyed the ping-pong table and fusball table. We were especially grateful for the jet ski docks to make it easy to get on and off the river! Coffee maker was broken but otherwise Kitchen is well appointed. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend!!

House was prefer for a family getaway and to view the solar eclipse off the top deck. Kids and adults alike enjoyed all the chairs and backyard area.

We had a great stay. Loved the fenced in yard for the pups. Having the water back up the house was a treasure. We loved the elevated deck over the water. Nice, quiet location. We rented a boat for the day and had a great time. The bunk room for the kids was perfect. The five kids that went had fun sleeping together and playing ping pong and pool. Having TVs in every bedroom was nice. Would rent again.

The house was perfect for our extended family. It was wonderful to be right on the river. We enjoyed the elevated deck, the fire pit, and it was great to have access to kayaks.

Spent 2 nights at this house. It was much bigger than I expected. Kids loved the foosball, pool table and ping pong table. One recommendation is to update the board games/puzzles. There were some missing parts. Overall great house, great location, look forward to visiting it in the summertime when it's warmer and we can really enjoy the water activities

The location and access to the water was perfect. Also the layout of the home is perfect for families. But, the smell…. The smell coming from the front of the house is horrible. I had to buy air fresheners just to tolerate it. They do allow pets which is great, but there is a very strong urine and mildew smell coming from the rugs and the rec room. It was so bad we couldn’t even enjoy playing ping pong and had to keep the door shut. If they can get the smell under control, it would be a perfect rental.

This home had everything our family needed to be comfortable, have fun, and spend good quality time together. From the fire pit right on the water, to the big yard for our dog, to the boathouse deck, to the great spaces inside, our whole family had a fantastic time. Aside from being lakefront with an incredible view down the lake, we loved how close we were to Inks Lake State Park, the Longhorn Caverns, and restaurants of downtown Kingsland. Can’t wait to come back!

The lakehouse is beautiful. We enjoyed basking in the sun and kayaking right from the backyard.
4 star is due to some housekeeping items that could of used a more thorough attention that we had to handle ourselves in order to be able to use the backyard.

We have stayed in Ski Shores twice now this year. We LOVE it. It really is the perfect place. It is only my husband, myself and our dog. And yes it is quite big for us but it offered everything we need and want. The yard is great, big trees for plenty of shade. One of these days we will use the fire pit right by the water and dock. The boat dock is perfect. We require the boat lift and it worked great. The boat launch is literally 5 houses down. The house has everything you need for any type of cooking/ grilling. The only issue we had was they only had two kitchen towels. I’m sure they will fix that.

I’ve been renting on Lake LBJ for many years. This house is on a great street and perfectly situated on the Colorado arm of the lake. The home is older with modest improvements. First impression was that it had sat vacant for a while. Overgrown bushes, yard appeared it had not been mowed and was covered with molting bark from the neighbor’s trees. (Haha, the yard crew arrived when we were packing to leave!) Windows are grimy and web covered. Decent wood deck in the back but it badly needs pressure washed/sealed and was covered with bark, debris and junk. The wood chairs by the firepit are warped and cracking.
The boat/jet ski lifts were the best part of the home. The cabling and motors are in good shape on both lifts and they operated perfectly! The deck above boat dock is very nice and shaded in the evening but the webbing is torn on the loungers making them useless. The closure is missing from the gate that goes out over the water so the gate swings freely. A chair is positioned with the legs over the cabling to hold the gate closed. The GFCI breaker at the dock won’t stay engaged so the yard lights won’t stay on.
Inside, we had to wash dirty sheets and a mattress cover from one of the bunk beds. Otherwise, the bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean. The kitchen/dining areas were clean. The bottom drawer on the stove is broken. The small pantry has a lot of food items, apparently from previous renters, and the floor mop, broom, dust pan etc. are stored there so we pass

This is our second year to rent this house and we love it. Nice setup for our group and the yard and dock are great. Only complain is the boat lift this is the second year its had problems. Hope they can get that fixed once and for all.

We all want to come back next summer!! There's lots of room to spread out, great view thru large windows facing the lake. The kids especially enjoyed jumping off of the top deck of boat dock!
It was wonderful to have a reliable boat lift this year with ramps for jet skis....and ample parking spaces for 3 families.
Loved the lake theme decor throughout the house, too.
We were looking forward to our coffee by the water the first
morning, but were disappointed that the Keurig was inoperable. Water wouldn't stop pouring out. Thank goodness
there was a backup Mr. Coffee Maker on the countertop and filters in pantry.....just had to make quick trip to buy some Folgers! The only other housekeeping issue was the
noticeable odor as we walked into the bunk room. Made me
wish I'd brought some pinesol and a mop!
Overall, great accommodations!! The beautiful lush green grass made it a very picturesque setting!

We have stayed in the area before in a bigger home with more bells and whistles but we actually liked this one more! The house is a one story with only 1 small flight of stairs outside. The bedroom set up was perfect with a big open kitchen/living room. Kids fished, jumped, kayaked and floated on big mat. When kids needed a break from the sun they could play ping pong, pool, foose ball or board games. Easy cleanup. We rent properties based on the dock because that’s where we spend 90% of our time, and it was perfect!! Will definitely stay here again.

The window shades were perfect black out for sleep, the beds were comfortable and I even appreciated the heater fan in the bathroom post shower. There is a sweet little river offshoot a few houses away that was fun to kayak when the river was too windy for younger kids. My very curious, escape artist dog was completely foiled by the excellent fencing in the back yard, too. Great place to relax, enjoy the sunrise, and bond with the family. It is pricy but they don't skimp on anything.

we wanted a get away for thanksgiving. some people live in dallas we live in san antonio. nice inbetween place. plenty of room and seating areas. we especially enjoyed the firepit outside and did use the kayaks.

Upside: Nice, clean, comfortable. Family enjoyed the kayaks, pool table, ping-pong, and Foosball tables. Well equipped kitchen. Downside: 10 am check-out and 4 pm check in. Paid for two days but really only got about one and a half, at most. Also, didn't appreciate being asked to empty all trash receptacles, start dishwasher, and take towels to washer before check out. Seems like we paid a hefty cleaning fee, so why are we expected to also clean? Oh, and what are we paying for in the "host fee"? Got a couple of texts from host. Nothing more. But, again, house was great.
