Excellent hotel! Excellent and clean room. Understands exactly what the guest needs. The staff is super helpful and kind and the breakfast is really good

At night we needed things from the reception and there was no response,early in the morning they took care of what we needed

The rooms are clean, well furnished, comfortable, and not overpriced. The location is near the venue of the conference I was attending and quite convenient

The breakfast didn’t have enough choices and I didn’t get the lactose free milk I requested during booking. Also the music in the neighborhood/hotel was too loud some nights

Staff have best attitude ever. Hotel lovely all over. Everyone very eager to help at the drop of a hat. Excellent food! All round by far the best value anywhere in Kampala, in my opinion.

As a repeat guest, I have say that this hotel didn't disappoint. The friendly staff, the cleanliness, and overall guest experience are an absolute 10/10 kudos to Tonny and the dedicated front office team. You guys understand customer service. Thanks for making my stay memorable.

There is only one issue, the meals at the restaurant are lacking. For such expensive meal options on your menu, there's definitely a need to revise this service. The kitchen staff is super nice, though.

This hotel was a nice surprise. It's very clean, very quiet and has excellent customer service all across the board from reception, dining and overall living. I highly recommend this place.

The commute to and from this gem can be tricky due to the poor road system and high traffic. You need to plan your commute wisely if you frequent the city center. Still not the hotel's fault but something to consider.

Facility and the staffs

It is obviously a European standard hotel with everything you'd expect - it's clean, the rooms are spacious, and all the expected amenities are available in the room and the bathroom (except a socket for a hairdryer in the bathroom). And surprisingly the hotel shampoo and conditioner were actually good. The breakfast was very good.

So - I booked (and paid for) 16-night stay at the hotel. I had to change my travel plans and requested the hotel well in time that I would like to modify my booking as I'd be staying only 8 nights. They refused to modify my booking and refused to refund the payment. The front desk was not just unhelpful, they were rude. They said that since booking.com had already deducted their commission from the payment I made, they could not give me a refund. I had to call booking.com customer service for support. When they intervened (And informed me that in fact, booking.com does not deduct any commissions before the end of the month) the hotel immediately modified my booking and agreed to a refund. In the circumstance where I was already worried about my travel plans, the hotel made it so much more stressful and inconvenient. When they did finally change the booking, they also charged me more per night than initially claimed. The air conditioner in the room was very loud. Communication was bad - I used the booking.com message service to ask for 1. airport pickup, no answer, 2. A room with Kitchenette, no answer 3. A quiet room, no answer. Ultimately I emailed the property regarding airport pickup and they responded. It is not too central - the district/area Boguloobi itself is a good location but if you have to come to the center (Makerere for example) it can take long especially because Kampala traffic is so bad. A number of times Uber drivers from Makerere would refuse to take me to Boguloobi saying it was too far.

The cleaner threw away the lid to my water bottle. And also the lid to a travel container. Although I told the reception staff, no offer was made to compensate me for the loss.
