we loved it all

We were warmly welcomed by Serena, who made sure we got all the information we needed. Before we arrived sehr had been extremely helpful finding us a place to park. the apartment is perfect for a family with two kids, the kitchen is very well equipped, and the terraces are just wonderful. It is possible to walk almost everywhere (and our Kids are 2,5 and 5, so short legs), and there are many shopping possibilities very close.

Serena gave us a great welcome on arrival. She gave us lots of recommendations of places to see, restaurants, music venues. We really loved the apartment. Very comfortable in every way and Serena had everything you could possibly need for our stay. Just so sorry it was too short. A wonderful memory. We would highly recommend it to anyone wishing to visit Palermo. Thanks again for your hospitality, Ned, Margaret and Thomas.

Our host even came out of her way to meet us from the bus, very friendly. The apartment was clean and bright with a lovely terrace and was 5 minutes walk from the old town/ buses/ supermarket.

Relatively spacious, nicely sized dining room and kitchen, attentive hosts. Le Terrazze offers no luxury, but has its comforts. Heaters work ( we were there off-season) and the place is located near a charming cafe that will make you an omelette if you ask for it. A rare accomplishment here!

There was a persistent suspect smell in the shower area of the bathroom. Hosts promised to look into it.

This property is in a perfect location. All options are very near - café, bakery, restaurants and all the sights and that is brilliant. This is the first time I have been in a property and there was everything needed to make a meal. There was tea, coffee milk, biscuits, pasta oil etc etc. really impressive. The owner was very communicative and was waiting for us. We loved being very central and very convenient for the airport bus on arrival and departure. It took very little time to get to the major sights and we never went anywhere but on foot. The flat is in just in a residential area, but on top of a restaurant. The flat is comfortable, especially for two people, with a/c in the main bedroom and living room. There is a fan in the second bedroom. There are two very nice terraces, but because of the weather, we couldn’t take advantage of these. It’s great value for money and I’d stay again in a heartbeat.

For more than two people, it would be nice to have another sofa (as there is a two seater) for the other person.

typical Italian style , spacious with private balconies to sit out on for a coffee or glass of wine . Great location for breakfast at a local cafe plus food and drinks in restaurants within minutes. Walking distance to centre and pick up for shuttle to airport . frequent buses to train station . Serena was a fantastic host and we would love to return to this place .

the steps up to the apartment with cases but they were carried up for us by the owner . stairs no problem for us during our stay !

Very nice set up. Comfortable and quiet rooms and beds. Loved the terraces. Good shower. lots of coffee for us. But BEST OF ALL was our host followed by the location, location, location. We walked to every site, restaurant, patisserie, and wandered old town. Even in the heat wave the heat pump kept the bedroom cool for sleeping. Serena, our host, is charming, funny, helpful, knowledgeable, and knows how to run a rental unit. We had no issues at all

Me and a friend went to Palermo for 3 days on a lil weekend trip. The only available flight arrived at 00h35- we were worried about how to get home. Serena was amazing, from before the trip, getting in touch to see if we had any preference for breakfast food and how we were getting to the apartment. When i saw there werent many options at that late time at night, she offered to pick us up from the airport for a small fee, which was AMAZING as we didnt have to worry about that. The house is pefect- we never had to use public transport or taxis in our 3 days- walking everywhere. It has everything you need, even though its in the center, the street is calm and she had just installed double windows, so you can't really hear the street noise. Most of the main streets are car free, so even after going out at night, we were able to walk home at 2/3 am feeling safe. The beds were super confy, there is AC and heating, and even the pressure from the shower is perfection! GRAZIE MILLE PER TUTTI Serena!

The very nice apartment, It could be used for a long stay with 1 or 2 kids. The apartment was very clean and there was everything we needed. I would emphasize the interior with old Italian furniture, which makes the whole atmosphere of staying in Palermo unforgettable. Great thanks to the owners!

One notice though from our site, that probably grabbing a pair of earplugs might be not a bad idea, it is sometimes really noisy in the bedroom during the night (as in the whole Palermo, I guess, :) )

The host provided comfort food items available for making one's own breakfast. She asked for input from us guests, and made reasonable choices which were very welcome. Towels and bedding are comfortable, plenty of hot water, air conditioning was lovely. Three large openings to terraces and a balcony give lots of fresh air and light if desired. The host herself is wonderfully welcoming and has an intriguing background and story that makes her a delight to talk to.

The apartment has some fit and finish items which were already scheduled to be fixed (jiggly toilet seat for instance). Nothing that compromised the comfort or pleasure of the stay.

The secret terrace is spacious, clean, full-equipped apartment. The sun terrace is perfect for morning and evening time. The localization is very good, in the center of Palermo. The host-Serena is really helpful and nice. She welcomed us in the evening of our arrival in the apartment. I highly recommend this place!
