Este condominio para no fumadores recientemente remodelado de 2 pisos con vista al jardín, tiene más de 1200 pies cuadrados interiores y 4 balcones privados. Es perfecto para una familia o 2 parejas. Este condominio Poipu Beach está situado en exuberantes jardines que recuerdan a los huéspedes de un jardín botánico tropical.
Nuestro apartamento está decorado al estilo hawaiano con un toque moderno. Una cocina totalmente equipada con encimeras de baldosas de granito y gabinetes nuevos hacen que sea un placer para cocinar, o adyacente es la zona de barbacoa. A 55 'LED TV de pantalla plana en la sala de estar con cable y DVD. WIFI gratuito también se proporciona para que pueda mantenerse conectado.
Los Nihi Kai Villas están a pocos pasos de la playa, pero están situados frente al mar. Hay pistas de tenis, una piscina y zonas de barbacoa a disposición de los huéspedes.

The apartment was great overall, and Steve (the property manager) was awesome. He checked us in quickly and gave us a ton of useful information, including some nice local spots.
The place was pretty clean, apart from some hair on the floor in the bathroom. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything that we needed to cook our own meals. They also had a lot of stuff for us to take to the beach, which was much appreciated! all of the amenities we needed were there, and the girls loved the shampoo and conditioner they provided in the showers. The AC was wonderful and for the most part kept up really well.
You should probably take note that if you are trying to sleep six that one of the beds is a pull out in the main room, and was what you would expect from a pull out. The AC didn't keep up in the main room as well for sleeping (we like it cold), but was plenty comfortable for hanging out during the daytime.
The location is really close to the ocean, and about a 10 minute walk to the beach/park. It was a little hard to find at first, but Steve's direction via email made the process simple. There was plenty of parking, but is a bit of a tight squeeze for big vehicles.
The only real negative is that there were quite a few ants in the kitchen. There is a note about them on the counter, so I'm sure it's something they are dealing with, but it made cooking dinner a little more complicated.
All in all it was a lovely place and a wonderful stay! 9/10.

Regretted not selecting a condo with an ocean view- condo had 4 outdoor areas but with no view, plastic chairs and conversations easily heard from neighbors- I missed having an enjoyable outdoor space - felt somewhat boxed in
Also living room furniture could use an upgrade for comfort
Owner was very responsive to any questions or concerns
We picked this condo due to location to the neighboring beaches - which was perfect

We had a wonderful time exploring Kauai from this location. The beach was a short walk away, and we loved seeing the seals and turtles come to shore. It was an easy drive to explore Waimea Canyon but also an easy drive to Lihue. It was so peaceful in this condo. The host was easy to communicate with and quick to respond to any concerns we had. I would definitely recommend this location to any friends or family who want to visit Kauai. Thank you for hosting us!

Great location on Poipu Beach. Some kitchen items are lacking. We had to buy a corkscrew and there are only four coffee mugs for instance. But, overall it’s a great place close to the beach and met our needs.

This is an excellent location for visiting Poipu. Beaches are in walking distance. Plenty of places to eat within maybe a 10 minute walk, or a two minute drive. Kitchen and bathrooms are well kept. The host sent clear instructions and was easy to communicate with. Would easily stay here again.

Great location
The property was impeccably clean and recently renovated. There was plenty of towels as well as beach towels, beach chairs and scuba gear. It was within a walking distance of the beach which was lovely. This is a great spot on the island because she could go either East or west and you’re always in the middle.

Great stay great time
Property was very clean and well stocked and organized. Plenty of fans to keep us cool. My favorite part was the beds and pillow. They were so comfortable it was hard to get up in the morning. The owner was very easy to communicate with. Looking forward to returning to Kauai!!

The condo is very nice! There is no sure conditioning but we stayed in the condo for three weeks in May and we weren't uncomfortable the whole time.
The condo looks recently remodeled, the bathrooms are very nice, have great water pressure, the whole place is very clean and seems brand new. The beds are very comfortable and have a variety of pillows.
Best of all the condo is a very short walk to the beach! We saw turtles and seals almost every day we went to the beach, and the condo has some snorkel gear and a boogie board free of charge.
The owner was very attentive on the one time we needed something, and it was resolved quickly.
Highly recommended, quiet neighborhood, great beach access and a great location to access most of the island. 5 stars!

Three weeks in Poipu!
The condo is very nice! There is no sure conditioning but we stayed in the condo for three weeks in May and we weren't uncomfortable the whole time.
The condo looks recently remodeled, the bathrooms are very nice, have great water pressure, the whole place is very clean and seems brand new. The beds are very comfortable and have a variety of pillows.
Best of all the condo is a very short walk to the beach! We saw turtles and seals almost every day we went to the beach, and the condo has some snorkel gear and a boogie board free of charge.
The owner was very attentive on the one time we needed something, and it was resolved quickly.
Highly recommended, quiet neighborhood, great beach access and a great location to access most of the island. 5 stars!

I will break this down into three segments: Property Owner, Location, Condo Condition.
1. Property Owner: Steve was AMAZING! We had a few issues which required Steve's attention. We communicated via phone, text and email. Steve was always available and always willing to work with us. I would rate Steve SIX stars out of five.
2. Location: As advertised, the property was steps away from Brenneke Beach and Poipu Beach. Boogie boarding, snorkeling, or just lounging on the beach was great. These were wonderful beaches and there is no need for a car to get to them. Less than 1/4 mile walk put you on the beaches in front of some extravagant hotel complexes where showers and surfing lessons were available.
3. Condo Condition: First let me say that the condo has NO A/C. I didn't think this was going to be a problem especially since the condo had at least 10 portable fans. However, fans did not remove the humidity. Yikes. Second - we requested that 13 items be fixed and/or cleaned the day we arrived. A week later, 10 items were complete (carpets and furniture washed, replace/repair screens, and misc cosmetic items). The replacement fridge did not arrive during the three weeks we stayed at the condo. This may have been exacerbated by the Covid-19 problem. The security lock on the front door remains broken as well as the exhaust fan in the master bath.
Conclusion: Would I stay at this condo again? No - but I learned that I wouldn't go back to Kauai. Too much rain, too much mud, and too humid.

Fantastic place to stay if you want space & close enough to beach
The condo was great and perfect to stay for roughly a week - especially for the money paid..
I recommend it.
I will break down in pros and cons
Pros:
1. good space with a balcony to sit outside
2. Kitchen has good equipment
3. Lots of sand toys and boogie boards and beach chairs to use
4. Pool is pretty decent size
5. Not too far from the brennecke beach and then even further is poipu beach - walkable if no kids.
6. The condo was just 2 mins walk from parking
7. Property manager is nice and flexible to work with.
General info :
Brennecke beach is not for someone who is scared of water. The Poipu beach further is better with snorkeling options. I actually liked the beach next to Sheraton the most.
Cons:
1. The walk from condo to beach is about 7 mins and poipu is even further out. Would have been OK with this, but the way its written in 100 yards made me feel it was very very close :) With younger kids - it was a bit of a walk :) Not really a con, just expectation setting :) The address of the condo when booked is address of the complex, NOT this specific condo.
2. This part of Poipu has no restaurants as such (except one) and so you have to drive over to eat. Not more than 3 mins to drive, but again setting expectations that you need a car.
3. Air ventilation in the bedrooms can be an issue - especially if you don't know where exactly to set the table fans for ventilation. Some days, we ended up having air directly on us - which could make us feel cold. Turning off will make us feel hot. The manager has acknowledged and will be fixing it with better placement of fans - not a big deal really, but something to know. Most condos don't have ACs. additionally we didn't want ACs - just more ventilation :)
We had a great time at the condo. When we went to Sheraton at Poipu we did like the beach, pool and access to food right there! This may not be important to others who don't have kids. Also Sheraton is more $$ :) Also we did that for 1 day, rest time we were out and about :)

Kauai rental a fair experience
Kaui is as beautiful as we’ve been told, however, the rental was not completely as expected. We were aware that there would be no AC but the fans hardly sufficed. You start sweating as soon as you get out of the shower. We had trouble sleeping even with fans blowing on us and the sliding glass door open. The bathrooms are badly in need of updating. If you’re on a tight budget, this place is reasonable. The beach is nearby, the pool is beautiful and overlooks the ocean across the street. Shopping and restaurants nearby. We enjoyed Kauai overall.

Great launch point for adventure
Loved the property. Though no AC, lots of fans are provided so you can have air flow which makes all the difference. The WiFi wasn’t working but had a quick chat with the owner and got it squared away. Showers provided soap but no shampoo. Thought it would be nice if had a simple bottle of shampoo. Really liked how they had beach chairs and boogie boards and other beach toys. Would stay again for sure.

Great location by one of the best beaches!
My husband and I had a great stay here for 5 days. Condo is comfortable and the location can’t be beat. We also received a nice welcome basket with local fruit, coffee and chocolate. The kitchen is stocked with anything you would need to make a meal and there is a washer and dryer.
We will definitely be back!

The condo is well stocked, especially the kitchen. We appreciated all the things for the beach. The pool and tennis court were great! Would love to come again one day! Thanks to Steve for being so accommodating!

My wonderful stay at the 804 Nihi Kai Villas
Condo was well stocked, very clean and comfortable. ,Grounds were lush with palms, trees and flowers.
One complaint. There was not adequate lighting on the pool area for after dark swimmers.

Perfect location!
We could not have picked a better location for our stay. Just a three minute walk to the beach! The condo was nicely appointed and we appreciated the boogie boards and cart that were provided. While the kitchen had all of the pots and pans needed you will want to bring your own basics for cooking (spices, oil, etc.). Both bedrooms in the condo are beautiful. My oldest son slept on the pullout couch and said it was comfortable. The owner even provided a nice welcome basket. We loved our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Lovely!
Very beautifully kept grounds. The pool was lovely. Lots of young families so if family noise ie) young children crying bothers you, don’t stay here. Definitely a 5-10 minute walk to a the swimming/snorkel beach. The employees are extremely friendly and helpful. The condo was well stocked with the essentials and the welcome basket with coffee and treats sure made our day! Steve always answered our texts in a timely manner and was very helpful. We felt safe here. Beautiful sunset from across the street. Turtles and monk seals visit the beach daily. Such a gift to see! We will miss it here!

Great Condo
We stayed at Nihi Kai 804 for one week of a 3 week trip to Kauai. The condo was spotless, it was generally quiet, the parking is probably the most convenient of the entire complex, and the lanais are huge. The kitchen was stocked with all the equipment you could need, the sheets, bath and beach towels were all in very good condition and there are beach chairs, snorkel equipment and body boards available. The condo sits in the back of the complex up on a hill which provides amazing views. It wasn't a major issue for us, but there is an uphill walk if you are coming from the pool or beach- you will get your exercise!

We enjoyed our stay very much, it's a great property. Our only "wish" was that there was a powder room on the main living level...but, we got our exercise! The lovely gift basket on arrival was much appreciated. Cleanest pool we've seen. All was a delight!

Fabulous for young family
This was our first trip to Kauai. The condo was in a great location - with lots of attractions in close proximity. The property was well laid-out and maintained and the condo itself was clean, spacious and thoughtfully prepared. We really appreciated the welcome basket. We were traveling with seven-year old and found it very handy to have a full kitchen and laundry. The kitchen had lots of helpful details, like spices and some staples, and there were also other friendly touches such as coloring pens and pads for kids. The upstairs lanai off the living room was very pleasant to relax on in the evening. We did not feel the need for air-conditioning even though the locals said it was some of the hottest weather they had had for some time. The condo community were very friendly and we enjoyed hanging out at the pool (lovely) and the barbecue area. Our son liked it so much that he preferred staying home to going out for dinner! There were always turtles at Brenneckes beach and we even saw a large one cruising close in amongst swimmers at Poipu beach. We enjoyed exploring the south coast and had lots of fun day trips, including the catamaran, and tubing - which we would recommend. All in all a great holiday and the condo was exactly what we wanted - we are grateful to the owners for sharing it.

Great Place for Business and Leisure
I was in Kuaui for business, and was accompanied by my husband, son and daughter in law. This condo community was pleasing from the moment we drove in - very well landscaped, not "cookie cutter". As promised, it truly is just steps from the beach, and the pool overlooks the beach (just across the road). The condo itself was welcoming, and the basket of Hawaiian fruits and goodies waiting for us was appreciated! There are stairs, and the two bedrooms and baths are on the bottom floor. The entire condo is well decorated, comfortable, and we had no problem with wifi access. As are many places in Hawaii, there is not air conditioning, and we slept with windows open - plus there are fans provided. I would HIGHLY recommend this property for it's location as well as just being a beautiful place to stay - and the price was so much more reasonable than many of the places I checked into!

Lovely condo by the sea.
We stayed here for a week in early August and were extremely happy with this condo. The furnishings are very tasteful, well maintained and we were thouroughly comfortable. The Condo is really roomy and the sea breeze and ceiling fans keep everything quite cool. Its only a very short walk to Brenneckes beach and we saw turtles feeding from the rocks everytime we walked past. Up to 8 at a time. The snorkelling at Poipu beach was also very good and my husband and teenage son hired boards and surfed each day. The Brenneckes beach broiler was also an added bonus to have close by and we had lovely lunches and dinners here on several occassions. The Condo pool area is well maintained and the gardens are just beautiful. It was great that we had tennis racquets provided as we also played tennis each afternoon.The condo is very well equipped with all kichen appliances provided and a big screen TV and DVD player in the lounge area. Beach towels , sun chairs , and body boards were all available for use. The owners also provided a lovely gift basket for our arrival which was a really nice touch. The information and directions provided prior to our arrival was extensive and easy to understand and made our arrival and sightseeing easy.I would highly recommend this Condo as a holiday destination , its clean comfortabe and quiet and very conveniently located. The owners are extremely helpful and have a very nicely presented holiday rental.
