Everything about this place is perfect. The house, decoration, patio, pool. Jane is an amazing host and her place is just so conmfortable. I highly recommand it for your family vacations.

My husband and I loved this house so much! Everything was so clean and fresh when we arrived! The backyard is truly an oasis and is filled with lush plants and so many animals! We loved relaxing in the pool and reading on the patio, while watching all the birds and family of 6 iguanas! We enjoyed the beautiful beaches and delicious restaurants in the area (definitely check out Ethos and Wilton Creamery!!)! Jane is so nice and welcoming and we hope to visit again!

Lovely property, a very nice retreat.

This home is perfect. Jane is so attentive to every need. The house was spotless and the neighborhood was so nice and friendly. All her recommendations were amazing. Great local eateries. We spent many days by the pool and grilling out. Close to the beach, which was amazing, and the airport we will definitely be back !!!!!

Wonderful place. Very clean which is important to me. The neighborhood is quiet... like extremely quiet. The next door neighbor was doing construction on his home and we didn’t even notice. We spent the majority of our time by the pool. Very private. Beautiful trees with parrots flying over. Nice size, heated and clean. Compared to our past “beach” vacations, this was a lot less touristy. That also means less restaurants and shopping to choose from, but I would prefer that. I would go back in a heartbeat!

We loved this house. It's clean, comfortable, and in a perfect location. Everything is nearby. The pool is amazing. The beds are comfy. The living room, dining area, kitchen are all just great. The neighborhood is so well landscaped, it's a tropical paradise. We would definitely return to this house on another trip to So Florida! If you're looking for a cute house with a very responsive and easy to work with owner - you've found it.

The property was very well kept, unfortunately the weather was not the best at the time of my family’s vacation but that is nothing the home owner could do :)

This cute little 1950s bungalow was perfect for our family of 4. It’s immaculately clean, tastefully decorated, had everything we needed, and was in a good location. The owners were a joy to work with and left clear instructions and tips on restaurants. After a day of sightseeing and watching our older son play volleyball at the Convention center, it was nice to come home for an afternoon and evening swim. We would definitely rent here again.

Very well-maintained property with true Floridian charm. The master bed and pillows were a bit uncomfortable for our liking and the washroom needs an update, but otherwise it is an excellent house to spend your vacation at.

We had a great time in Ft. Lauderdale and a big part of that was staying at this fantastic house. My kids essentially lived in the pool, when we weren’t at the beach or out exploring. The house was well appointed and clean, and the perfect size for our family. Jane was a great host, responsive without being intrusive and checking to make sure we made it to the house, offering good advice on where to explore and restaurants to check out. We would definitely stay there again.

This home was just what we needed for a combo work/holiday. Private, tropical backyard with a large, beautiful pool. Everything you need inside. Well appointed. We also appreciated the carport. Jane did everything she could to make our stay enjoyable. Accommodating and personable.

From the minute we walked in the door, this place felt like home. Jane takes pride in ownership as it is nicely decorated and sparkling clean. We can’t say enough good things and plan on a return visit next year.

Very private back yard exactly what we were looking for. Hate to give out this secret but we have to. Heated pool was plenty warm as I am cold blooded and the days were in low 70’s and I could remain in the pool. House is as stated Old Flordia Charm. Very Clean and Jane is very tentative and responsive if you happen to need assistance. Would definitely stay again.

We booked this house last minute, as our west coast location was still experiencing red tide. At first I was a bit disappointed not to get a place right on the beach, but boy did this place turn out to be perfect. The backyard is beautiful and peaceful (even with kids around). You have complete privacy. The water wasn’t just warm - it was, as my kids say - “mommy warm.” I hate to swim in even lukewarm water. Pro tip: the return jet kicks out HOT water. It’s by the steps and if you lean against it, it feels as warm as a hot tub. I thought we’d spend most of our time at the beach, but we ended up spending the majority of our time at the pool. Every day the resident iguana would stop by while we swam, which my kids ADORED! We named him Fred. There are also a few lizards poolside, which we named Larry and Lizzy. Send them our regards if you ever stay here. Also, I don’t know if it was the time of year (12/26-12/31) or the presence of reptiles, but there were NO bugs. No flies, no ants, no spiders. We had bug free picnics outside every day, which actually made eating outdoors enjoyable for once. Also, our family of 5 had more than enough space inside when we needed a break from the outdoors. My oldest thought sleeping on the daybed at the front of the house was the best. His bed was SO comfortable! The owner was absolutely fabulous. She was completely responsive to our questions and provided great recommendations. Also, the place is STOCKED! We’ve stayed in quite a few VRBOs before and usually you need to buy necessities like toilet paper, dish soap, etc. Not here. She had all paper products, dish and hand soap, etc. She greeted us with a gigantic container of Tide. Folks, I don’t even buy Tide at home. She also has a ton of spices, baking powder, beach toys, aloe Vera, etc. It was all very nice and unexpected. The only negative of the place is that there is no dishwasher, but in the huge scheme of everything it was not a big deal. I just made my husband wash them. ;) We were all very sad to leave and wished we could have stayed longer. Thank god you had a last minute cancellation! The Schuchmans Omaha, Nebraska

My wife and spent 9 days in the property after a cruise and it suited us perfectly. Jane was very attentive and had prepared the property well for letting whilst retaining many of the features in a 1950’s property. The garden and pool area are very secluded and private which gives the feel of being well away from its city location. We would thoroughly recommend the place and ideal for a family, but It might be a bit small for 4 adults. All in all a good property. Graham & Averil, Leamington Spa, UK.
