The property was just a described. Great location and amenities for a family get away in the lower keys. Easy check-in access with great communication with host on details. Great access to water and boat access if you bring one with you.

Easily the best VRBO experience I’ve had and the others have been excellent. Rick was extremely helpful and provided not only items to get the vacation started right away but guides and information galore to help make informed decisions. Anyone that wants to experience relaxation and all that the keys has to offer should absolutely book this place. All kinds of exploration available and conveniently located halfway been Key West and Marathon making it super easy to thoroughly experience both areas. Highly recommend for anyone looking for tropical relaxation and detachment from the everyday grind.

The property is in a quiet location, very clean and within 30 minutes of all that we had planned. The amenities were endless and very much appreciated. While we did not have time to use the kayaks, etc., it was a nice option. While there we visited Dry Tortugas, snorkeled at Looe Key reef, visited Bahia Honda State Park (beautiful), spent a day in Key West (Butterfly Conservatory, Hemingway House, etc), visited the Turtle Hospital (definitely a great experience), fed the tarpons at Robbie’s, and so much more. First time in the Keys and definitely loved having a home base that was so accommodating after long days of adventure. Rick and Barbara were very responsive with any questions. Would definitely book again! Thanks for everything!!

Perfect! Location, location, location. If yoy enjoy privacy in a small gated community and access to the pool and ocean in only a few steps, this is the place for you! Close to Key West and Marathon for activities and after a fun day fishing, boating, beaching, eating and enjoying all that Key West has to offer, you get to come back to a practically private setting with amazing ocean views inside home and out! Practically perfect in every way! You can bring your boat right to house since this home is on the water!

This is by far the best VRBO home I have stayed at. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this beautiful place. The views are amazing, the extra’s (kayaks, stand up paddle board, fishing gear) and the location of the home made this such a perfect vacation for us. The home owners provide you with a wonderful book that provides all of their favorite things to do and places to eat. That was our playbook for the week, and it did not disappoint. Beautiful place!!!

This home was well stocked with all the extras we usually have to purchase when staying at a rental. The home was set up perfectly for 2 couples. The week we were here happened to be spring break but was very quiet. We had the pool to ourselves most of the time. Check in/out was clearly explained, had no issues. Cudjoe Key was perfectly located between Key West and Marathon for days we chose to go exploring. The book created at the home was amazing! It had tips and recommendations for everything from charters, public transportation and restaurants. We hopped on the bus one day to Key West (pick up is literally 100 ft out the gate) and cost under $10/couple. We chose to Uber back later that evening and was only $70. Overall, very happy choosing this home for our trip.

We finally took the plunge and stayed in the Keys for 30 days. The accommodations at Sunrise Beach Resort were awesome. The unit had everything you could need for a great vacation. We met some great folks while there for the month. We would highly recommend this and the owner was great.

Great location - we love Cudjoe Key! Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We really enjoyed and used the bikes and kayaks provided - great fun! The house is charmingly decorated, light and sunny, and very well stocked with all basic supplies. And we loved all the different places to sit and enjoy the fresh air and views - the balconies, the carport, the dock…. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Very comfortable home with all the amenities. We enjoyed cocktails on the deck and watching the sunset. Great nearby restaurants and the book left with places to visit was very helpful.

A gorgeous home right on the water with fun activities to keep the whole family entertained. Great restaurants nearby. A quiet, little community to relax and enjoy sunsets on the beach. We had a blast and want to return to paradise! ❤️

The house was beautiful and well maintained. Lots of "extras" that made the stay more enjoyable. We had perfect weather to add to the fun and a full moon too! Not a lot of other people in the homes around us so it was like having the place just for us. Caught a barracuda off the dock so a lucky pelican had a great meal and hung around the rest of the week hoping for more. Would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful spot to relax and rejuvenate.

This property was as advertised. The kayaks and paddleboards and bikes were all used. The accommodations were perfect for our family get-away. It was comfortable for the 4 of us to relax and enjoy the sun. It was well located for going into Key West and exploring the keys. Thank you for allowing us to make a family holiday memory.

Really enjoyed our stay! House is very well appointed and decorated. We rented a boat from the recommended Cudjoe Key Marina, and were not dissapointed. This is one of 2 homes here that is directly in the water and the closest to the dock, the views of Cudjoe Bay are incredible!

Wanted something out of the craziness of Key West, this was just right. About 20 minutes or so north, it was right in between Key West and things like snorkeling Looe Key and Bahia Honda park. Spotlessly clean, had everything we needed. Like most homes in the Keys, had lots of stairs so would be very difficult for someone with disabilities but was fine for us. Loved our laid back time there.

We have stayed in several places on Cudjoe Key and this by far the best place we stayed. The home location was awesome. It was clean and like new. Rick was very accommodating.

Wonderful amenities, extremely well organized and stocked, tons of helpful information & brochures about the area. Felt like a high end home, not a rental. Great location close to Key West but also quiet and peaceful. Now the standard has been upped for me! Such a great vacation. WOW!

This past week was just amazing!! This was our first time in the Florida Keys and at first we were a bit hesitant because after we arrived on the keys we realized there were very few beaches around and we are normally beach people. After arriving at Rick's house we were completely ok with never leaving the house if we decided to not explore the keys. Rick left us everything we needed for a relaxing week. We had access to the pool, kayaks, fishing poles, amazing views and all the essentials of our home home. We met really nice people in the neighborhood and sat back every night to take in the stars. For the 4th of July we decided to stay out of Key West to avoid the crowds and it was so worth it. We sat on the top balcony and watched all the fireworks from our own private area. I decided to book 2 charters with Tail Chasin' Charters to offshore fishing and sandbar hop. After seeing all the sandbars and the wildlife in the keys we completely understand why Rick wanted to have a house here. This area is pure Heaven. We learned that the Cudjoe Key area is a lot quieter than the upper keys and only 19 miles from Key West so you get best of both worlds. Kiki's Sandbar and Grill is 6 miles up the road with amazing food and just a bit down south is Hogfish Bar and Grill and it's definitely a must try. Honestly I can say that Rick's home is a perfect place to stay for couples or families alike.

Beautiful, clean, well-equipped place with million-dollar views! For a Mother’s Day week getaway, the two en suites gave both mom/daughter the space and privacy needed. Well-furnished, with high-end finishes and lots of thoughtful touches (bathrobes, luxurious towels and linens). I’d love to book again, as long as accompanied by someone who can haul my luggage up and down those stairs (thanks, baby girl!).

This property is the best of the entire resort. The view of the ocean and the nighttime stars is magnificent. The owners have provided so many extras to enhance your stay; fully stocked kitchen, paddle boards, 2 man kayak, fishing polls, under cover propane fueled fire pit, outdoor tv, beach towels, swing and sand toys for kids on the beach. The pool was clean and of the perfect temperature. The owners are easy to contact and go out of their way to make your stay safe and fun. The beds were comfortable. Each bedroom has an awesome view. My family LOVED this property. Everything about it was wonderful…location, size, decor and TONS of amenities. We took full advantage of everything - relaxing indoors, on the various decks, at the fire pit while watching the outdoor TV, at the beach area, along with use of the kayaks and bikes. The owners were wonderful to work with and thought of literally everything to make our stay fantastic. We really enjoyed reading the info provided about the property and took advantage of the suggestions on dining and activities in the area. We would return in a heartbeat! The only thing we would do differently would be to spend less time in Key West and more time at the property, possibly splurging on a boat rental, since there are slips available at the property.

We thought we might be a bit crazy planning a week-long trip to the keys the 2 weeks before Christmas but it ended up being exactly what we needed! We traveled to Cudjoe Key on Dec. 10 - 17th. The weather was perfect, sunny and 83 the entire week. We rented a boat from Cudjoe Gardens Marina for three days during the middle of the week. Dillon provided us with everything we needed for the boat and suggested several locations to check out and for fishing. We caught several different species of fish out by the light house. We enjoyed so many restaurants in the area including Square Grouper, Mangrove Mamas and Boondocks. We had an amazing dinner on Little Palm Island where we watched the sunset. The property was exactly as listed. We took advantage of the bikes, fishing gear, hammock and fire pit. We wanted to try the Kayaks but just ran out of time! We would definitely recommend this property and the owner was super easy to work with. He answered the few questions I had quickly and in detail. I would love to stay here again, it was the perfect spot between Key West and Marathon so we had tons of options for things to do each day.
