Construido en 2012 por Don y Rachel Reboul. Campamento frente a la bahía en la isla con un nuevo muelle de pesca iluminado de 400 pies con acceso en bote. Cangrejo y pescado en el muelle !!! Maravillosa vista panorámica de la bahía !! Menos de 1 cuadra de la playa con acceso público a la playa a través de la autopista 1.
Este campamento tiene 3 dormitorios / 3 baños completos y tiene capacidad para 12. Demasiado agradable para ser llamado campamento. Muebles de felpa con electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable y gabinetes con paneles blancos, todos ubicados sobre pisos de madera de bambú.
Se proporcionan todas las sábanas, almohadas y toallas. Tenemos cafetera y Keruig. Ofrecemos un paquete y jugamos. El área de la planta baja tiene un pozo de barbacoa, instalaciones completas para ollas hirviendo, estación de limpieza de pescado y mesas de picnic. ¡El espacioso porche cubierto se eleva para admirar la belleza de la bahía de Caminada! El porche tiene mesas, sillas y un columpio. Gran pesca y pesca de cangrejos desde el muelle del campamento.
Todas estas comodidades hacen de este campamento un refugio de pescadores y unas excelentes vacaciones familiares.
La conexión de RV está disponible directamente detrás del campamento.

Home and view were great. Pier awesome and the lights were wonderful at night. Crabs were caught and fish too. Home fully stocked with everything and clean. Only downside was the yard and driveway had pot holes and mud. It needs rocks and attention. The island had water the week before from the storm so it may have not been bad if it was not due to standing water. Overall our family would definitely stay again.

Stayed over Memorial Day Weekend. The closest crossover to the beach was closed so we had to go further down the street a few blocks. The owner communicated this, just be aware the levee is being repaired so not ALL crossovers or usable. There’s plenty of parking but the driveway could use some fresh gravel. Big potholes and mud. We gave the bottom of the camp a good clean off with the available hose and there’s still trash scattered in the Marsh near the camp from the Hurricane. Not sure whose responsibility that falls on, just a bit of an eyesore. The view from the front deck is perfect! The fishing pier was awesome! There was an issue with the lights but that was fixed during our stay while we were there. The kitchen is stocked well with everything you may need. Overall a great place! We’d go back for sure!! Especially when all the crossovers are usable.

Stayed here with a group of friends and we all really enjoyed it. Everything you needed was there and it was very close to beach crossover #4. Wish the fishing pier would have been completed but we knew in advance it wouldn't be. We be going back once the pier is completed to enjoy.

Pretty good
Inside was fresh & new. The large area facing the water could use some blinds to control evening sun. Clean & roomy. Like a lot of the Island, the yard still needs some clean up. The week before the owner let us know that the pier was not repaired yet. When that is completed this is a 5 star bay side property

Week getaway
The property was very clean and well equipped. Had everything we needed form the kitchen to even a burner and tank to do a fish fry. The dock was great for crabbing and fishing, when we were there we were doing a couple of charters but the weather didn't cooperate and we mostly fished off the dock and caught some nice trout and a few crabs on hand lines. Overall a very nice camp that was clean and well equipped. Would recommend.

Great Camp on the Bay
Great camp. Very updated for Grand Isle. Dock was great for little ones to fish and crab off of. All appliances were updated and TVs were smart with all the apps you need. Beds were a little uncomfortable but overall it was a great setting and location for a great weekend. Would definitely book again.

We arrived to find the home in great shape and updated with everything working as it should. The views in the evening with the sunset you'll never forget. Dock was in great shape with lots of places to tie up your boat. We had a great time and definitely recommend Grand Smile.

We had a great time at Grand Smile. It had all the amenities you would need to make your stay comfortable. Kitchen had everything you need to cook all your meals. We did not find a lot of restaurant options so it was nice to be able to cook everything there. The pier is awesome and right out the back of the house. The house was sparkly clean. We would visit again!

Absolutely beautiful inside and out. Tried to reach the owner regarding TV not working and no WIFI and no lighting on stairs and never got a callback. Bachelor party next door took away from the tranquility and peaceful nights sleep.

It didn’t look like all beds were clean sheets. The flooring has loose planks in kitchen. The dishwasher is difficult to start. The front bath and bunk bedroom rooms has mold on ceilings, and around shower. The coffee table is weakThis place could use some maintence. We loved having 3 full baths, and large open space for family. Loved the balcony swing and table to look over the water. Nice fish cleaning station and outdoor shower downstairs.

Hurricane zeta!!!
Hurricane zeta didn’t help matters ! It came right on us . I’m from the south I’ve been in my share of rough storms. Grand isle La was tore up pretty bad , Mr Don R.Was a ware where staying! We had food water ! But we lost electricity the whole Island did , so only a half of our stay , 30 plus no electricity but we had candles. We walk the roads! Not a pretty site. The cabin that WE WERE IN DID NOT EVEN LOOSE A SCREW during the whole time of the hurricane ! Mr Don R.work out a great Understanding deal with us . WE Will BE BACK WITHOUT A DOUBTS AT THIS CABIN NEXT YEAR , Thank you Mr Don !

The camp and pier were great as expected. The outside cooking equipment needs some help. 3 BBQ pits on site but none capable of using and no propane bottle to boil crabs.
