This property was great for just my boyfriend and I. We didn’t need a ton of space between the two of us plus you don’t go to Maui to stay in side so it was perfect for what we needed. We took out the trash every day to avoid pest issues as we saw in previous posts so that seemed to keep them away for us. So many little amenities were included which was a nice little surprise that wasn’t mentioned in the original post. We loved that they had chairs and a cooler for us to use during our stay and we made the most out of using them. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay here again. We loved the calmness of this side of the island and the fact that there was a beach just right across the street was great. It’s also a sea turtle resting spot so you are likely to see a sea turtle depending on when you go.

We really liked how close the unit was to the beach and it was clean and well stocked with all we needed to enjoy the beach and the kitchen but we definitely didn't like the location of the unit next to the pool. The complex management cleaned the pool area every morning beginning at 7:30am for two hours. And if it wasn't the noise of hosing and scraping the pool area, it was the noise of the gardeners, definitely not the tropical quiet expected on a vacation.

The unit is just across the road from a beautiful park and beach and is also conveniently located near the main shopping area of Kihei. The unit itself is right next to the pool and the complex management cleans the pool area every day at 7:30am until about 9:30am. The gardeners also start work at about that time. This made it almost impossible to have a quiet, enjoyable morning on the lanai

Overall, the location was good; near the start of Kihei as you move to Wailea. The unit itself was ok; the A/C was great, parking was a little tight, the bed was fine, and the water pressure in the shower was adequate. All in all, nothing negative except for the small pest issue. This may be more property than unit. Living on Oahu, I understand pest issues but, if I have to use my own money for pest control, then that's a detractor. Hopefully, they can get that resolved.

Loved this place!It was clean and reasonably priced. I had to find a place on really short notice after our hotel burned down in the Lahaina fires. I'm really grateful that they didn't price gouge like some of the other rentals. Great location. I will definitely stay here again.

The Bay Surf has all the things I needed to settle between trips. I cooked my meal everyday and all the cooking materials were present. The condo was in a very convenient location where I went to the beach almost every morning and night. The location was near Foodland and Kalama. The location is not as congested compared to the Kalama Park area. I would definitely rent the Bay Surf again for another round of Maui hopefully next year.

Nice and quiet room in a perfect location in Kihei. Located right across the street from the beach it was very comfortable. At first we had issues with the TV remote not synced with the cable, they came out and fixed the remote. Also the sheet we had at first smelled like body oder, but they came and changed that too. You can hear the people above you walking around but not too bad. The dishwasher seemed to be haunted because it came on twice by itself, creepy. The shower head needs to be updated. The kitchen had 99% of cooking items you needed except for measuring cups. It also came with beach equipment like chairs, towels etc… They need to update the laminated TV instructions or just get rid of them. Overall we had a nice stay.

My husband ran in the Maui Marathon. We were able to visit all the island from the place we stayed. We had everything we needed. I do apologize for forgetting to get things out of the refrigerator. Plane plans changed quickly and we were a bit rushed. Thank you for a nice place to stay!

Very quiet and clean. Easier to enter the condo with just a code and not have to remember a key. This unit stays cool in the day with the drapes closed and at night you can open the front door, lock the screen door, go to the patio door and do the same to let a nice breeze go through. Kitchen is stocked with everything you need. You can go buy a fresh pineapple, bring it back, cut it up, and put it in a plastic container provided. Don't forget to go in the turtle pond across the street to see the turtles

Had an amazing vacation and the Condo played a great part in that! It had all the accommodations you can ask for and more! Great location in Kihei less tourists and, nice beaches within walking distance. Pool was very clean and, hot tub was great. Would definitely recommend this condo in Maui!

I absolutely loved the location. Across the street from a beach with so many sea turtles and calm water. Parking was easy and it is a very central location for day trips to different locations around the island. The amenities were nice (pool and spa) and the locals were very friendly and welcoming. The complex felt safe and secure. The unit is ground level. The rental was stocked with everything we needed for the beach (beach towels, a cooler, umbrella, and chairs). We had 4 beach towels and 4 bath towels for the week for two people. This was a little low for us since we were swimming in the ocean daily. The rental was as clean and comfortable. It is a bit dated but everything was functional. We greatly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay again at this location.
