Bienvenido a Claim Digger, su hogar lejos del hogar. Ubicada en Powder House Pass, nuestra cabina le permite caminar por la puerta y caminar / andar en bicicleta / motonieve / ATV sin el esfuerzo de subir un remolque. ¡Tome un poco de historia mientras explora los reclamos de minería o revise las viejas casas de pólvora directamente desde su puerta trasera! ¡Pero eso no es todo lo que está en la puerta trasera, ya que estará ubicado en el corazón del corredor de recreación en el impresionante norte de Black Hills! El sendero Mickelson Trail y Snowmobile Trail # 5 se encuentra junto al Powder House Pass en sus bordes este y oeste. Buscando tomar un poco de turismo? El Spearfish Canyon, con sus hermosas salientes de borde de roca y arroyos de montaña, ofrece una excelente escalada en roca, senderismo y pesca de trucha, y está a solo 5 minutos de distancia. This home made our trip to the Black Hills most enjoyable! It was like coming home to our own!

The house has a nice layout & location. We enjoyed our stay & left the place cleaner than required even though there was a substantial cleaning fee. (Cleaned gas range, wiped down refrigerator, counters, swept, etc.). Some furniture & rugs were worn, but it was comfortable. The gas grill was extremely dirty and a tub upstairs barely drained. There were a few other issues, but nothing we couldn’t manage.
What put a HUGE Damper on the whole experience was the rude text we received from the owner on our way home…
“These are photos today of chocolate melted and chunks all over our carpet. There is going to be a charge deducted from your deposit. This is not how one should ever treat another person’s property.”
We weren’t aware of leaving it?? We take insurance out, but have never had issues…if we did drop something then it should be covered.
Whether we are right or they are is not the issue… it was the RUDENESS of the owners text.
We would suggest that if you are considering renting the house you take before & after photos to cover your tale.

The house was nice but the bedroom with the bunks was deceiving having to go thru the bathroom and master bedroom.

Loved that there were 3 king sized beds for couples! The bunk room was a little inconvenient since you have to walk thru the master bedroom and bath to get to it. Never did get connected to the wifi, password wouldn't work. kids loved the hot tub. Had a great long table for everyone to sit at. nice clubhouse.

It’s a very nice, comfortable home. We had a difficult time controlling heat issues, but we prevailed! The clubhouse is just across the road, is a stretch! At -10 you have to drive to play pool! The photos in the description makes it seem like the pool table and shuffle board are in the home. It’s not described until you read all the small print! In a better time of year, this is a perfect vacation place!

We liked the layout of this house. The upper level had a large lounge/living room of its own that could be closed off by barn doors to the open living room below, so if you had kids and adults or men and women that wanted their own space for different activities it would work. Very nice bedrooms and bathrooms for all. The open concept let us all cook, craft, and talk as a group on the main level. We saw deer right outside our windows every day.

This was the third time our family has stayed at the Claim Digger and it felt like coming home. The youngest of our group was 9 and the oldest was 70 something, and all found the home and area comfortable and beautiful. The kids enjoyed the pool and biking around the neighborhood. We hope to stay again next fall, just wish we could stay a little longer next time!

The house was amazing and worked very well for our family. We had a great time exploring the area, which we are family but our other family members had yet to see. We will for sure be returning. Thank you for the hospitality and sharing this loving home!!

Even with a few hiccups with the property the host was always willing to answer my messages and was extremely helpful. Made our stay fantastic! We used this as a focal point for our family Annual Hills Side by Side Ride. It was centrally located with amazing clubhouse amenities. They house was clean, beautiful, and comfortable for our large group. Would definitely stay here again!

This house was very nice, clean and spacious! Very large living room, dining and kitchen area. Nice, comfortable and sturdy furniture. Nice patio area with fireplace and grill. The kitchen and bathrooms were stocked well. Wi-Fi worked well. Short walk to the clubhouse which was very nice as well. Short drive to nearby towns. Owners have a book with information about nearby towns, activities and restaurants which was helpful.
A few things I think are good to note for families with kids...The bunk bed room is off the master bedroom and bath, it's the walk in closet for the master but a makes a great bedroom for kids. Also there is no yard, it's tall weeds. Seems to be like that throughout the development. If you have kids that's good to know I think. Overall a great home! Didn't have to contact the owners for anything during our stay. So much to do in the area!

We greatly enjoyed our first trip to South Dakota. Very nice house. Beautiful scenery and hikes close by. Enjoyed the Black Hills and The Badlands were amazing.

The house is very spacious with room for spending time together sleeping, eating, and all the things. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would recommend it to any large family. The host was very attentive and responsive with our few requests, and we appreciated their prompt responses!

We celebrated Christmas at this property staying 3 nights -4 days. There were 14 in our family ranging from 63 to 7 months. Lots of room, clean home, comfortable beds, great location. We created lots of memories for our kids & grand children.

The property is located in an ideal location just outside of Lead giving access to the main roads to get to places. We had six adults and four children under the age of ten. There was ample space for us as well as a kitchen that had most everything we needed to cook a Thanksgiving meal. I was happy to see another comment from someone about the master "closet" used for a bedroom for kids. This worked great for us as we had three littles that needed to be near their parents. I would highly recommend the property!

Loved the cabin and location for all the trails. Cabin was a little dusty but due to all the construction it’s understandable. Throw rugs in bathrooms didn't look like they had been washed. One of upstairs beds was a little hard bit found memory foam to put on and it was much better, almost too much foam on master bed!! House is now 2nd on the left. Beautiful house with everything that we needed for our stay. Would definitely come back.

Upon arrival we noticed some broken items and a washer that was blinking error codes. Ryan had someone out the very next day to fix the washer. Very grateful I didn't have to go to a laundry mat! We really enjoyed the propane fire pit in the evenings and soaked in the hot tub everyday.

Towels and sheets smelled very musty, as if they were left in the washer a long time before drying. There was food under the coffee table on the first floor. Carpets were not vacuumed properly. The wood blinds are really dusty. The kitchen hood over the stove is extremely greasy. Every night several neighbors were very loud and some were arguing into the wee hours of the morning. We did not use the hot tub as we didn’t know how clean it was. If these items are corrected and cleaned, the house is awesome to stay in.

We have use this house now for the second Time for the Sturgis rally. It’s the perfect house has a great garage for storing your bikes lots of room wide-open for everybody to mingle after riding all day long the kitchens awesome. A hot tub is great for soaking your tired bones after a long ride.
If you’re looking for a house for you and your friends to stay in during Sturgis the location is perfect so close to deadwood and all the attraction parks.

We LOVED this home!! Well appointed, awesome neighborhood!! Jacuzzi worked well after a long day touring! The bikes loved being tucked away in the garage!! Enjoyed the patio each night while grilling out, saw deer in the backyard a few times! The beds are absolutely heaven!! The artwork/prints/buffalo head were just the right touch! We are not "tourist trap" people--we just like getting together to connect with our family. This lodging provided space for togetherness, and more space for "alone time." My daughter and son-in-law completed a 998-piece puzzle in 24 hours, and if the coveted two missing pieces show up, we would love to have them back before the keepsake is framed. Our grandchildren loved playing in the tree-filled yard, enjoying nature and outdoor games. The grandkids (10, 7, and 4) did go swimming at the club pool. They enjoyed this until it became too full, but that is to be expected. One minor repair was needed at the home, and it was dealt with seamlessly. "Mr. Fixit" was extremely friendly and fun to talk with. We ate the majority of our meals at the home, and all necessities we needed were there. We brought our most favored games, (we are a GAME family) and listed those in the home's memory book. Our family enjoyed our visit and hope to come back when we can.

Experience was good overall. Had a hiccup with wifi when we arrived, but all was resolved and we enjoyed our time therethere!
