These accommodations worked great for our family. We have stayed many years on the south side of SH and this was our first on the North. This is walking distance to Packard beach which is bigger than Oak st. This house has everything for your needs. We spent most every day at the beach with grandkids. The bed in the master is lower than normal and pillows could be better. I am one that puts a high value on sleep when getting up early with grand kids.

Everything was wonderful . It was a little chilly during our stay so we didn’t get to use the outside much but it was a very nice house. The plug in the shared bathroom didn’t work and the floor in the kitchen seemed a little unlevel. The shower was slick but, I’ve encountered that other places too

Property was exactly as stated in listing. Great location, great amenities, 2 minute walk to beach. House was spacious and stocked with everything needed for a wonderful stay. Mark was super responsive.

We enjoyed the comfortable home and close proximity to Oak Beach. Our grandchildren had a great time running on the beach and building sandcastles. The wagon and chairs were very helpful. We also enjoyed walking to many restaurants. We had a wonderful time in South Haven and will return.

This cute little home was so perfect for our beach vacation. We loved the open and airy kitchen with huge countertop for food prep, the large dining table for meals and games, the layout of the entire home, and all the little conveniences such as the outdoor shower for getting sand off, wall hooks for wet towels, and a zippy little vacuum that made sand clean-up a breeze. We used the grill for kebobs and burgers, and the huge capacity fridge was great for our restaurant leftovers and bulk fresh blueberry purchase! The walk to the beach was so pleasant as we passed beautiful homes and yards in the neighborhood, and of course, Lake Michigan was perfect in every way. We appreciate the owners' attention to detail in the shed full of beach supplies, the beach towels, plenty of toilet paper, soap for all the sinks, lighters for the grill, and even little fun touches like activities in the turntable cabinet. Our kids were enchanted with the record player, and the record selection was spot on for these GenX parents! We truly had an amazing time, and the house was simply ideal for our four-day vacation. My husband said we should have stayed longer.

Location, location, location. Easy two block walk to the beach, and about a mile into downtown. Plenty of room for two couples. House had everything we needed, and was nice and clean. Loved the back deck, fire pit, and record player. Can’t remember last time I played an album. Will diffidently be back!

We had an excellent stay. The place was better than I thought it would be. The photos do not show the property to full advantage. I deliberately took some one afternoon that I’m happy to share if wanted.

We landed here after a week of camping and loved so much about it. Very welcoming and clean. Beds were super comfortable. Kitchen had all we needed. Quiet and beautiful neighborhood for walking. Will definitely consider staying here again.

This place was just a described and a fine place for a couple days. It was close enough to town for our littlest member who is six years old to walk there and back and the beach was also very close. The back deck was full of pollen and some of us struggled with that. Other then that the place was great for our use!

Many positive aspects to this home! We weren’t cramped, plenty of room, 2 bathrooms (so appreciated with two teenagers), completely stocked with essentials, and very clean! There were bikes for us to ride, and had the weather been warmer we could of used kayaks. A tree swing was much appreciated by the 13 year old. There are many more amenities that were available to us that we didn’t use due to short stay. I would most definitely recommend this sweet home to a family!

Great week at SH! The property has all of the essentials! Clean, open, and great location! We did not miss having a screen in the living room, (although some might!). Adequate beach toys. Nice back porch table. Would stay again.

This home was just what we needed! Easy stroll to Oak St Beach for sunset and North Beach was also nice and close. We really scored with the kayaks and bikes on hand, thanks Mark! Grill worked great, kitchen stocked with good variety of items. Just a note that the "two bunk beds" is ONE set of bunks.

This was our first visit to South Haven, and we are asking ourselves, "Why did we wait so long to try it?" This was a family vacation of three generations, and it was the perfect place. The location of this property was excellent. We were outside of the downtown crowds but close enough to walk or bike anywhere we wanted to go. The house was actually more spacious than we expected from the photos, and the host provided more than many do. We had access to the pack and play, beach wagon, bikes, and kayaks and much more. We would definitely stay again and hope to!

We have visited South Haven often and usually have stayed on the North Shore loop. We were late in planning this trip and knew it would be difficult finding a rental. This property was available and was a little nervous renting a place we were not familiar with. However, we decided to move forward with it. What a great find! Clean, spacious and a great location. Easy access to downtown, north beach or oak street beach. Everything mentioned in listing is spot on. On top of that any questions or concerns we had the owner was quick to respond. Also, if you are looking for a little breathing room from the craziness of north beach this is the place. Highly recommend this location.

Property is clean and accessible with sufficient bedrooms and dining space for family get-togethers. Sizable yard gives you space from other residences while being easy to get to and close to town & beach. We appreciated the spacious kitchen that made it easy to prepare meals. Rooms were bright with plenty of windows. Deck in back has table, chairs and gas grill. I would recommend this rental for comfortable, casual visits to South Haven.

We would have liked to have a TV in the living room. We missed having an ice maker. We had to go out and buy ice. Otherwise the place was great.

What a great place to be with our family. Enjoyed the backyard to play corn hole and have fires at night. Not too far from the beach. Very quiet neighborhood. Loved it! First time in South Haven.

Mark our host provided everything that we needed. The location was in walking range to the beach and many restaurants. Many fun activities for children were just a short drive away. My grandson loved the splash pad and my daughter and I loved walking along the water front.

This home was perfect for our 5-day stay. The location was ideal for us - an easy walk to beaches and town in a quiet neighborhood. It was spacious and comfortably furnished , clean and not cluttered. Beds were comfortable and both baths appeared to have been recently updated for both fashion and function. The kitchen had all the essentials for basic meal prep. We took advantage of the grill and fire pit and the deck would have been lovely in warmer weather. The fact that the home (and town) are pet friendly was important to us. Expectations were clearly communicated by the owner as was all other essential information . We would certainly return in a heartbeat!

The house was clean and comfortable. The fireplace in the living room was a bonus. The kitchen is large and well stocked. Plenty of room for our family of 9. Great location close to the beach in a nice neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again.

Extremely clean house, spacious bedrooms, open living room & kitchen, wonderful manager to deal with, great location as it was only a few blocks from the Lake/beach, and two full bathrooms which were very clean! We would stay here again in a heartbeat. One simple suggestion would be to update the two full size beds to something more comfortable as they were hard to get used to. Otherwise, absolutely loved everything!

We had a great time, minus some rainy weather, for the weekend in South Haven. Great location. House is decent, appliances are outdated, grill has broken burners, but it was decent for what we needed. The property manager/owner was really nice and quick to respond to messages. Would recommend if not looking for anything fancy.

This spot is indeed a soft landing. Beautifully decorated. Peaceful and set a bit away from the bustle but close enough to walk to the best parts of South Haven. We appreciated that the owners thought ahead about all their guests would need. My son loved the bunkbeds and we enjoyed the coziness of the livingroom fireplace. Our dog Ollie was thrilled to join us on our many beach excursions. So nice to find a place of this quality that permits pets! The recycled window artwork (painted by the owner) was also really great. We bought one to take home!
Everything was so well kept and the back deck will be great for a summer visit. We can't wait to come back in the warmer weather!
