We had another great stay at this apartment - it ticks all the boxes for us - Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and Anita our cleaner was lovely and very helpful. The apartment is in a good location with secure grounds and swimming pool, close to beach, Limegrove shopping mall and supermarket. Apartment also has access to Beach House Club. Communication with the owners is very good - would definitely recommend this apartment.

This was our second stay at this excellent apartment and hopefully won't be our last. We have stayed in 4 apartments in Goldenview and this is our favourite. This is a perfect place to experience Barbados, not only is the apartment refurbished as we would have our own place, it is set in lovely secure grounds not far from the beach and all that Holetown has to offer. The hosts were great communicating with us especially around the covid challenges we all face at the moment. Thanks Chris and Karen

We have just returned from our stay at Chris and Karen's apartment at Golden View and had a great holiday. Golden View is set about a 10min walk back from the central seafront at Holetown. Which for us was ideal as it is away from the busy coastal road. Beaches are good all along this part of the coast. The apartments are privately owned and so the site in generally kept in very good condition. The gardens are lovely and very quiet and peaceful. The pool is great for a cooling dip. The on site restaurant is a Chinese which you can dine in or get a takeaway. They also do a poolside bar service. We tried it once and the food was OK. The apartment itself is very clean and tidy and well stocked with everything you might need from a holiday rental. Being a ground floor unit and just across the grass to the pool was great. Chris and Karen were very helpful with the booking process and quickly responded to any questions we had. Overall a great apartment in a great location. We would definitely go back again. Had a lovely time at this apartment, unfortunately we had to leave early and repatriate back due to covid 19! All being well, we will be back next year!!

As we have stayed in Golden View, but not this apartment, we knew the system. However if we had been new guests, we would have been at a loss as we had no contact with a property manager. There is plenty of written instructions but naturally certain things are better explained face to face, i.e. TV, air conditioning, security etc. The apartment has been renovated to a high standard. The kitchen/sitting room is beautiful. The patio is like an extra room with the dining room table . All the crockery etc is to a very high standard and plenty of it. Thank you, a delightful holiday.

The whole process of renting this apartment was very easy even when we had some personal problems which meant we had to move our travel dates, Karen was very accommodating in making sure we were happy with the changes. When we arrived at the apartment it was immaculate! It had everything needed to make our stay a home from home experience. We would not hesitate in recommending this apartment and if we had to score it out of 10 we would give it a 10!

The property is absolutely wonderful. It is just as described in the listing, but far bigger than expected and better equipped than most properties we have stayed in. The location couldn’t be better, just a short stroll to the beach and all amenities, bars, restaurants, shops etc. The apartment has one of the best locations on the complex, a step into the beautifully maintained gardens and only yards from the pool side. The spacious terrace gets the afternoon sun and pool side you can sit in the sun all day long. We particularly loved the evenings, sitting on the terrace gazing across the pool and people watching in the restaurant opposite the apartment. But don’t worry the restaurant is very quiet with no loud music to disturb the blissful Barbados evenings. We couldn’t fault the communication with Karen; it was first class from start to finish. Our only recommendation would be to put the name on the Condominium on the listing as Golden View isn’t mentioned and it may confuse some people when trying to find the property. All in all it was a fantastic holiday in a first class property which is a credit to the owners. We definitely aim to return and just hope that the apartment is free. Patrick and Ceri - UK

Lovely apartment on a great complex. Very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. It was spotlessly clean throughout. Very close to all of Holetowns wonderful beaches, shops and restaurants. Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the area.

We had a great week long stay at this property in Barbados! We loved that it was on the ground floor and just a walk out to a large swimming pool which we took advantage of EVERY morning. Make sure you bring Barbados dollar coins if you want any extra air conditioning, the hosts left us some to get started, where we used an hour to get the bedroom cooled down before bedding down. They also left us a couple of Banks beers which went down very nicely after a long flight and tracking down the location initially. Parking our rental car was a breeze as the parking lot was quite empty. the property is very close to a big supermarket where you can get whatever you need. The communication with the host, Karen was way above what we expected and helped us out a lot. This was our first VRBO experience and it was exceptional!! Doug & Trina

Great apartment in Sunset Crest. Part of a complex of similar apartments, all well maintained with great outdoor space - gardens and pool surrounded by plenty of sunbeds and areas of shade. Karen and Chris's apartment is on the ground floor with direct access to the gardens/pool etc. It had two sun loungers for our personal use, and a table and chairs on the veranda for lunch. The lounge/kitchen/diner is open plan and very well equipped for self catering - lots of crockery, cutlery, glassware and cooking utensils and a huge fridge freezer. In the bedroom there was plenty of hanging space and cupboards. The bed was very comfortable with clean crisp linen and towels provided. The bathroom had a constant supply of hot water and excellent shower. Plenty of parking spaces for hired cars, but only 10 minute walk to a very large supermarket and 15 minutes walk into the centre of Holetown where there is a great selection of bars and restaurants. On site there is a pool bar that is also an excellent Chinese restaurant, popular with guests, locals and other tourists. There are also washing machines and driers in the complex for the use of all residents. We will definitely recommend this apartment to family and friends and look forward to returning in the near future.

Clean well equipped reasonable price for area perfect location close to large supermarket and beach shame about the work that was taking place whilst I was there was rather noisy during the day easy to book and good housekeeper

The condo has a very comfortable and has well equipped kitchen, although we ate out mostly. Excellent location and we loved the pool too. Hope to return again in fact our only disappointment is that it is booked up already for next year.. x

The property was generally very good it would have helped to know we would require piles of coins for the AC. Only real problem was number of mosquitoes in the bedroom, I ended the week with over 30 bites despite spraying and swatting.

Could not fault this lovely updated Apartment, owners were great to deal with, nothing was too much trouble. Have previously stayed at Goldenview and not all Apartments are the same - thankfully this is the best and would highly recommend to anyone.

We loved this modern apartment. Most we have rented are older and not as updated. The location in the building was very convenient, close to the pool and the lobby's Wi Fi hot spot. Karen was very good to work with, pleasant and prompt with our booking and the small number of issue we encountered in the apartment. We would rent here again without hesitation

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was well set up for a wonderful vacation. The bedroom had a comfy bed and great airflow so even though there was air conditioning if we wanted we never needed it. The kitchen was well equipped with all we needed. The condo is on the main floor and very conveniently situated to beautiful pool and grounds. There is lots of room for everyone on the pool deck. The pool was always inviting for a quick dip or for swimming laps as it is well over a 100 feet long. The host was very attentive and called to see that we settled in. There is maid service once a week and Pamela spoiled us. There was a small issue with the bathroom and Pamela had it sorted out quickly. There are staff available 24/7 and we were very happy to drop off our keys at the front desk when we went out. We felt the area was very safe. The condo is only a few moments walk to the center of Holetown complete with a beautiful shopping area, restaurants, night life, easy access to bus service and .....those beautiful beaches!!!! The water is wonderful. We loved it all. A big thank you to our hosts for sharing their home with us.

In our near 50 years of marriage we vacationed many times in Barbados, mostly in Sunset Crest. Karen and Chris; when we walked into your condo, without looking I knew exactly where everything was. That is how "at home" I felt. 10 days was way too short but our longer one is coming up in 6 months or so and can hardly wait for it. As long as we can travel, we hope to spend a lot more time in your condo. Thank you for the secure, comfortable, beautiful and loving atmosphere you created. For us it was home away from home. My husband and I enjoyed a beautiful 10 days at this apartment. The description and pictures are very accurate. After a bit of a bump on the first night, Karen and Chris did everything to make it right, which we appreciated very much. We fell in love with Barbados and this condo was just what we were looking for. I was glad I thought to pack a few essential food items, such as coffee, peanut butter,jam, snacks, etc. because some groceries are very expensive there. The condo is a short walk to the beach and many great restaurants, my favorite was happy hour at Zaccio's. We loved taking the buses, very safe and inexpensive way to get around. The pool at Goldenview is amazing and we both enjoyed doing laps every morning, then having our breakfast on the patio. My husband especially loved the day bed, super comfortable for reading a book, or napping of course! Sure hope we can get back!!

I almost don't want to tell you how much fun we had at this place so people dont book and overpopulate the area! Booking was easy, owners were fast in response, super nice and made our decision quick to stay here - Karen actually called us on the 1st morning to make sure we had everything we needed, nice touch. The suite is perfect for a small family, large bed with small cot for our 3 year old. Kitchen was awesome, cooked meals every day and only ate out once because the place was so comfortable. Ate lunch & dinner on the patio which is literally 20ft from the pool - pool is cleaned daily and very nice. The grounds are safe and secured and so lush and beautiful. The bedroom and bathroom are clean and in great working order. The air-con was nice for sleeping otherwise there is good airflow when you open the windows. The Beach: One of the nicest beaches on the island called - The Beachland. Crystal clear blue water, soft luxurious sand, hardly any tourists on beach and all a 400m walk from the apartment! We watched turtles hatch from the sand and run to the beach, not to mention that the snorkelling of this beach is where some sea turtles live and the catamaran boats stop for their guests to snorkel. The Area: Fantastic, everything you need within a 10 minute walk - large grocery store to buy food and supplies, fruit stand down the street, restaurants all over (just grilling), The Beach bar has happy hour daily and the best rum punch on the island Stay here, you wont be disappointed. $58.00 Bdn (30$cdn) for the taxi from airport. Pleasant staff, TV with satellite, movies, board games etc.

Stayed with my wife and 2 small children and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! We loved the proximity to the pool and the convenience of self-catering. Only a short walk to the Beach and Supermarket & easy access to transit and beautiful beaches! The owners were friendly, courteous and a pleasure to deal with. We can't wait to go again & would highly recommend this property to others.
