We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property, which totally exceeded our expectations. The cottage is adjacent to the home of the property owners, but you have 100% total privacy. The setting is tranquil, and the grounds are beautifully manicured. We would return in a heartbeat!

The cottage is a little peace of heaven. We hated to leave. Dave and Jen have done a wonderful job of it and the landscaping. Would highly recommend.

We only had time to arrive, peek at the amenities and go to bed. We were impressed. We would have liked to have stayed longer. It is a very welcoming, restful setting. A great place to relax with a friend and recharge with a little quiet one on one, in my opinion. I gave them five stars across the board, because we simply loved the setting. It was a wonderful experience with just one note of caution. If you don't like the fragrance of fabric softener/laundry detergent, bring your own set of sheets. If you're chemically sensitive, you'll likely have an unpleasant sleeping experience. Although, my wife and I found the fragrance annoying, and it did affect our sleep, we didn't deduct points in our review, because these products are commonly used everywhere bedding is maintained for the public. Even so, we would like to return another time and hope that perhaps there will be a fragrance-free option, and if not, we will bring our own sheets.

This cottage is immaculate. It truly feels magical. It’s quiet, surrounded by greenery, and peaceful sounds of the fountain. There are many small touches that the owners have put in that made our stay extra special. I’d recommend to anyone.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! I would have to say this cottage was one of the most beautiful Vrbo’s I’ve stayed in. Everything was as described in the listing and then some! I couldn’t recommend this place more.

We had a quick overnight stay, but the Cottage was lovely! The property was beautiful and relaxing. The Cottage was clean and charming with all the amenities we needed. The small touches went a long way. Communication with the host was clear and easy. Would stay here again in a heartbeat, but for more than a night to fully enjoy the Cottage and property, including grilling on the back patio!

My adult daughter and I enjoyed our short stay at this beautiful cottage. The grounds are lovely too. Cottage was very clean, well decorated and comfortable. I'm sure we will return.

The cottage is clean and well stocked but let me rave about the garden. Incredible doesn’t cover it. I fell in love with the fountain and the ferns. I hope to book this location every time I visit. The owner a are incredibly nice and as a solo female traveler I felt safe. I slept so hard in the soft, fluffy bed.

Wonderful stay in a very private setting. Full 2-floor home apartment set in a garden atmosphere in quiet Lakewood neighborhood. All amenities thoughtfully provided by hosts. Felt very welcomed to their home setting. Will stay again next time in town.

We loved our stay at this property! Incredibly clean, beautiful neighborhood, tastefully decorated, and comfy enough to feel homey. My son said it felt like being dropped into a fairy tale, the property is that spectacular. I honestly never wanted to leave, and we will FOR SURE be back. One of my favorite vacation rentals ever.

What a wonderful, quiet retreat with access to big city life! This cottage is very clean and tastefully furnished and decorated. Owners take the time to personalize your visit and provide helpful instructions and snacks. Wished we could have stayed longer.

The property was so peaceful and quiet! Perfect for the alone time I needed. The owners were very communicative before hand so I knew what to expect. I can’t wait to go back and hope I get more time than just one night. So grateful for this experience!

Wow! What a peaceful and secluded place! The gardens surrounding the cottage are immaculate, and the inside of the cottage is stunning as well. You will not regret spending time here. It is magical!

Seattle preview
I would like to.thank Jen & Dave for a great experience at there great little hideway. You would think that your out in the forest, & the quiet was so soothing. But within 3 minutes you have a shopping center with restaurants, theater & general purpose stores. I think this place is a.great location to explore the local area & the train station is only 10 minutes so you can avoid the traffic to Seattle. Once again thank you for your hospitality! Will definitely come back!👌🏿🏌♂️😎

Wedding Night Stopover
We rented the cottage for my daughter and her new husband (a soldier at JBLM) so they had a nice place to stay on their wedding night. It was close enough that they didn't have a long drive after the wedding. Communication with Jennifer was great. She was so kind as to give them a late check-out as they were arriving late after the wedding reception.
The kids said it would be a great place for Grandma to stay next time she's in town for a visit.
Would recommend & would rent again.

ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS
Such an amazing hideaway. Even more beautiful and well-appointed than the fabulous photos suggest. So peaceful. Like staying somewhere in Europe. Huge value for money compared to other places I have stayed in the area. Way more classy. Close to all I needed and some beautiful places to visit. Jenifer and Dave are really lovely people. Really warm. This is definitely now my go-to place whenever I am in the area.

Spotless, very well-equipped, comfortable and set in the most beautiful gardens and property. Jenifer was very warm, welcome and caring and made us feel totally at home. We wished we could have stayed longer and would definitely return if we were back in the area.

Elegant and tranquil
This lovely cottage and the surrounding grounds are so nice it almost seemed to good to be true. Everything was wonderful. I did find the bed squeaky and the pillows too firm for my preference.

Had a wonderful experience. Hosts are very friendly and gracious. Cottage is amazing - felt like we were in a cottage from "House Beautful" magazine. Every detail taken care of, from easy check-in, light snacks when arriving, very clean, wonderfully decorated. When in the area would definetly stay here again!

Transported to France at this petite chateau
This cottage, the grounds and the property managers were all exceptional! We felt as if we were actually in France with the maniured gardens and hedges, fabric awnings, fountain and art and decor in the house itself. The owners were wonderful - so welcoming and with attention to every detail - it was treat to learn about the history of this quaint estate.

What a wonderful way to start our new life here in WA. The cottage was clean, cozy and designed beautifully. The grounds and neighborhood tucked away in a serene environment yet just minutes away from shopping, restaurants and the freeway. We will be recommending our friends and family to stay here! Our family of 3 had the best time staying at this cottage. The environment is magical! The beds were so comfortable and cozy. The owners are friendly and and have worked hard to create such an amazing experience for their guests. We will be back! Best place ever!
