The exterior door was either broken or just very difficult to open so we struggled to open/close door. Also beds/l pillows not great. Very outdated but didn’t expect different for a lodge. I am always more concerned with cleanliness than anything and I rate this 5 star in that regard

The property is dated in the bathroom and bedrooms but we knew that going in. The only real problem we had was that both bedrooms were supposed to have queen beds but one was a full. Overall we had a great experience and the location was perfect. We would rent again.

We only stayed one night. For our purpose, it was a good choice. It's an older property but it's a great value if you want to be near Snowshoe Village.

Loved the place and found it clean and convenient. Communication was difficult with the owner, but calling and talking to Stacy from housekeeping really saved us. Would stay again but would appreciate if owner were more top of communication!

Stacy the person in house keeping is the best and who I talked with the most. There was some things missing and she brought it right away. She also the one I talked to when I saw all the bad reviews and sent me pictures of all the updates. The places was really clean and smelled good. It is a dated and there is some work that still needs to be done . They have new furniture in the living room it was really nice. We would stay there again! I did have to contact the owner a week before to see how to get in and it took him a while to get back with the information. We would stay there again. They also need to update the pictures on the site.

Beautiful home very close to the village. A short walk away from the grocery store too. Very warm with the furnace.. would 100% stay again.

Check in communication was horrible. Piles of trash outside the entrance to the condo. The showers constantly leaked. Hot water lasted about 5 minutes at a time. There is floor and wall trim falling off. The wifi never worked. Would. it recommended to a family. This place is worse than a fraternity house.

The location was great. Conveniently located. That’s where the positives end. The furniture is run down, couches with holes and one of the bedrooms, the bed frame was broken. Closet shelves were barely attached to the wall, and the door knob for the master bathroom was falling off, and we had to tighten it. The bathrooms, especially toilets looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in some time. Not sure what the large cleaning fee is for, since bathrooms and floors were dirty.

Location is good. Bring your own toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags as not enough, or none, is provided. Bathrooms were not cleaned before our arrival.

The location and shuttle service availability was great! You can’t get better views! Upon arrival I had to wipe down surfaces because they weren’t completely cleaned. Oddly, there was also home improvement items (paint, tools) laying around. The fixtures and and furniture are dated.

There seemed to be a miscommunication between the owner and property manager. We were not sent check in instructions ahead of time. While waiting in the cold with be reception I was walking building to building trying to figure out which unit I was since each building (A Though D) has the same unit numbers. I resorted to finding the property managers unit and knocked on his door trying to get an understanding of what my unit number was and what the key pad code to get in was. With no luck I had to drive back to the village to find WiFi and contact the owner. Eventually all was sorted out and we were able to gain access to the unit just to find the place was not ready, no linens on the beds, no towels, no toilet paper. We spent the good rest of the evening getting the place ready ourselves and settling in just the check out the next morning.

The Summit is centrally located in Snowshoe Village - easy on/off the slopes! Def would stay here again!

Great location and awesome views

The location is excellent and the views from the Patio are the best views one could get, however the furniture was a bit old and the interior temperature control system wasn't that great. Some minor upgrades could really spark up the place.

Place adequate, had everything we needed. Did run into issue with door combo not working and unable to get in touch with property manger at first. Also, left some clothes in a drawer and haven't heard from manager/ owner since. But our fault, so not mad about it. About snowshoe itself: there's absolutely no cell service anywhere! Extremely frustrating for my wife and brother who had business calls to take and where unable to. Probably won't be back for that reason alone. So if that's not an issue, place very reasonably priced and location is fine. Leading up to the trip, had questions to Raj, and he would respond in minutes. That was always very helpful.

Upon arriving at the property, the threshold metal carpet strip at the top of the outside steps was sticking up 6" on one side creating a severe tripping hazard. There was a twin size mattress setting out on our deck, outside the front door in the snow. (When brought to the property manager's attention, he told us we could move it.) Cigarette butt cups were sitting on the exterior entrance floor. Fire alarms-all covers were open so we could see the batteries were missing. Bunk bed-first morning when a 20-year old got out of bed, the board holding the mattress and the mattress fell on top of our daughter who was still sleeping. Had she been a young child, he could have harmed or killed her. Upon inspection, it was noticed it had been repaired previously incorrectly. So the remaining nights of the stay we moved the upper mattresses into the living room floor for the kids to sleep. Master bathroom, toilet was slow to drain. Property manager wasn't available so husband spent next 4-1/2 hours plunging. Light bulbs were out. When we did speak with property manager we rudely told us we were only allowed to have 2 vehicles for our property which was never told to us in anything prior to arriving. Fortunately he also told us where we could park our additional car which was at the far lot so it wouldn't be towed. Website clearly stated it accommodated 10, table had 6 chairs and there were 4 bar stools-but no bar. They are in the middle of a renovation and at sometime removed the bar on the island. Kitchen was sparsely furnished. Basics like a cutting board were missing which we were able to borrow from the property manager. Didn't have enough utensils for 10 people. Flooring-there were screws on the floor we were picking up, the hardwood laminate was in process so the edge pieces were not nailed down yet and moved constantly. Living room-TV did not work because the cable wasn't connected properly. Husband spent time jerry-rigging the coaxile cable into the TV because the connector was missing.

Not a bad rental. You definitely get what you pay for, nothing super nice but ample space, good wifi, and decent location.
