The house was very clean and the beds comfortable.
We could walk to the Lake but could not see it from the house.

Very nice house. Warm, comfortable, tidy. Only suggested improvement would be WiFi :). Other than that a very nice place to stay, close to Okareka.

First impression was very clean and well kept. Small problem with the bed which Tracy arranged to get fixed the same day. Overall we had a very comfortable and relaxing stay, I was particularly impressed by all the rugby books in the bookshelf, spent ages reading those.

The title says it all. This is a lovely property, and the host was fantastic to deal with. The surrounds were quiet, and we had access to everything we needed to have a perfect stay.

Great property for our family, spacious and perfect for kids. Lots of games, toys and books and a fully fenced safe backyard was brilliant. The listing doesnt mention it has a heat pump so this was a nice suprise for the cold mornings. Clean and tidy. Thank you!

Had the pleasure of staying here for 2 nights with family for an event in Rotorua. The house was dry, warm, comfortable and in an amazing spot. Was a great experience and can’t wait to come back

We enjoyed our stay - the house was comfortable and had everything we needed. It was in a nice location close to Lake Okareka and only a short drive from Rotorua attractions. The kitchen was really well-stocked with utensils, appliances, etc. The furnishings were nice, there were plenty of towels and everything was clean. Our kids enjoyed the games and books.

We loved our time here, house was exactly as pictured and spotlessly clean. A perfect spot to enjoy the lake and Rotorua with kids, super family friendly and much better than a hotel with full cooking facilities, multiple bedrooms, etc. The kids absolutely loved the toy selection and the big backyard for races.

Beautiful spotless house, felt like a home away from home! Hosts are great to communicate with :) close enough to the boat ramp & Boyes beach, central to Rotorua and surrounding Lakes should you need to go there. Would highly recommend this place.

Really enjoyed the location, spent a lot of time at Boyes beach just a few minutes away, and redwood forest. The house was clean and comfortable, with plenty of things to do for the kids. Would recommend this property, and love to return again.

This property is in such a peaceful location. Lots of bird song. Would be the perfect spot to just relax but also lots to do with in walking distance or easy drive to Rotorua. Hoping to get back there sometime.

A beautiful location to stay at, so quiet in winter. House was basic but clean and so warm with fire and heat pump. Bed mattresses need updating as kids bunk ones quite uncomfortable. Kitchen had all we needed. Would come again.

The property was nice and clean and had a fire that kept the house very cosy in the middle of winter. It is a short drive to town and outdoor activities, and is an easy walk to the lake and the bird life is phenomenal. A really nice stay.

The bach was so much better than the pictures! It was in the most gorgeous setting in a village nestled in the bush. The house is set back from the very quiet street, with a fully contained back garden, so ideal for small children.
Inside it was clean and comfortable, with lots of toys and games. We stayed with 3 under 5s, and had no need to even take out the toys we'd brought.
The host was lovely too, we'll definitely be recommending this back to any friends heading to Rotorua. Lake Okareta is only 10mins from town and SO MUCH NICER than downtown Rotorua. Loved it!!
