Only remark, although this is difficult to maintain, the bird droppings, caused by swallows, on the balconies should be kept more clean.

The main thing to understand about this hotel: their main client is corporate. Every day tons of people checking in and out, covering all public places and straining not so numerous staff. I think that most of the reviews are from people who didn’t pay themselves, because the quality-price-ratio is close to zero. My subjective opinion: it should cost much less and have at max. 4 stars. A couple of observations after staying for 4 nights: - no shelfs at all in the room, one small closet for a junior suit (with a broken door by the way) - sockets are 2m away from the bed and only one usb connector on the lamp - no Wi-Fi connection on the balcony of the room - yellowish, mildewed curtains in the shower (a shower with curtains that stick to you because of draught when you are showering, really?) - there is a tissue dispenser in the bathroom, no tissues inside (maybe I should ask to refill them, but why would I? I am in a 5-star hotel, not in a hostel) - cleaning on the last day of stay was weird: they just hung a bag with towels and toilet paper on the handle of the room (over the shield requesting the cleaning) - you have to clean your table yourself after breakfast (the concept is ok, I am not against it), BUT no one wipes these tables afterwards. To find a clean table is quite a challenge - stingy one: no bathrobe, no slippers, no vanity set. I never bring anything of that stuff to a 5-star hotel - funny one: a bin liner in the bathroom is smaller than the bin. So it just sinks to the bottom of the bin - tiring one: no central switch to switch off the lights - smelly one: when I opened a tap in the bathtub, I smelled the distinct reek of bad eggs

Location its very beautiful.

The staff were very helpful and polite. We were allowed to check in by mid-day instead of 15:00. There was adequate parking. The breakfast was very tasty and there was a a large choice to cover from the health oriented to those who want to indulge. There was very fast WiFi everywhere. The hotel was in a great location with beautiful natural environment around. I did not feel any pressure or rush to do things in a certain way. So there was a very relaxing atmosphere.

The level of cleanliness particularly in the room needs improvement. On our first day we could not use the balcony furniture because everything was covered with dry leaves, bird poo etc. It was cleaned the next day after we asked at the reception but on the 3rd day the problem appeared again. We could see spider webs hanging from the ceiling of the room and all around the balcony hand railing. Every day we left in the morning and returned late evening. When we opened the door to the room a very intense bad smell like sewage was present inside the room. We had to open the doors and windows and operate the air-conditioning system and after a couple of hours the bad smell went away. But came back again the next day when the air conditioning system was off during our absence. The water pressure in the shower was always very low, it even stopped flowing on the 2nd day for about an hour. The bathroom only had a hand wash liquid and a body lotion near the sink and combined hair/body liquid and conditioner in the shower. No other consumables were available so we needed to bring our own tooth paste, razors, etc. Slippers are not supplied as standard. We asked at reception and they kindly gave us 2 pairs in anticipation of using the spa facilities later on. The TV was large enough but not a smart TV and no satellite channels and not even any pay per view option available. There was no room service (at least we could not see any information about it) and no mini bar/fridge in the room. We stayed for 3 nights but the bed sheets and the towels were not changed during our stay. There may be a lot of argument there relating to being environmentally friendly etc. but for a 5-star hotel these issues should have been resolved.

The hotel is huge and by huge I mean enormous. It took us quite a while to get to our room and also to orientate within the complex. Staff was friendly and the room is spacious. Also the wellness area (at an extra cost) is well equipped with different pools, saunas and more. Lots of free parking available.

The entire hotel somehow feels outdated, which becomes visible in the room itself and the entire equipment. Also the breakfast did not offer a wide variety. I felt like the price-performance ratio is not exactly great.

The staff in reception was very nice and helpful. The restaurant was very cozy, and we really enjoyed the meal there. Our water in the restaurant was also very nice, and did everything he could to make us comfortable.

I booked the hotel considering the SPA, but the cost of using the SPA one evening, for the two of us, is more than 50% of the room price, and having had a look at the SPA, it simply didn't seem worth it. The pool is quite tiny, so you are not going to be swimming lanes, it's more like sitting in a giant tub with a bunch of other people. They have a sauna, steam bath etc. But at the price demanded for using the SPA, it becomes quite a price per function you take advantage of. Maybe if you are there the whole day, it makes more sense. We had asked for a room, high up. It's not a high place to begin with, but high up, ended up being just a single floor up, which was a bit disappointing. There is water not that far from the hotel, and they advertise water view, but from our room, we could se no water at all, even though we were on the water side of the building. To be fair, I checked my booking, and our room type was advertised as "with view" not "with sea view", but when the hotel advertises sea view in other places in their marketing, and I knew our room was on the water side, I was kind of expecting that. Our room was quite big, but it's an old kind of place, so it's mostly just a bunch of unused space, that does not add anything to the experience. It was also right next to the elevator, but that elevator is not used that much, so it didn't bother us. The place is not exactly run down, but it would benefit from a makeover, bathrooms are old fashioned, and tired, but everything was clean, and we were quite satisfied, but maybe the price is a little high for what you get.

Beautiful property in lovely surroundings. Easy parking and easy access to all the different facilities within the hotel. Stylish reception / lobby / bar / spa areas. Very helpful and professional staff

The corridors in the hotel room areas are in need of a serious facelift - they are very soulless and institutional. The spa area looked a bit worn in places: peeling plaster on the walls, dirty windows, general cleanliness not 100% up to scratch. The breakfast restaurant didn’t seem equipped to deal with too many people: tables were left uncleared and the buffet ran out of items

The spa was absolutely great. Great restaurant, wonderful suite. Very good location, nice trails around. Even in the high season, it was very quiet and peaceful.

The wifi was low in the appartement.

Beautiful hotel with interesting history located in a park with a lot of wildlife where you can walk or simply sit and enjoy for hours. Hotel is well maintained, have a staff of friendly employees who is keen on helping you with whatever issues you have.

Reception informed us upon arrival that the restaurant was fully booked for dinner that night, but we could get something to eat in the bar (menu of 4-5 typical bar snags/sandwich) – not exactly what you expect having a night out with your spouse at a nice hotel. There shouldn’t be any local restaurants according to the hotel, but we located the nice Restaurant Galionen in the harbor 10 minutes’ walk from the hotel.
