Old type traditional Inn. seen Cosy used to describe before & that would be right. Good off road Car Parking.

Nothing really, TV in the end room needs checking out, re reception, kept going off, that’s about it. Room was very clean. Disappointed with the croissant breakfast though. Croissant was slightly burned we didn’t get the pastries. All other food good.

Everything was great, my only comment would be the mattress was a little uncomforable, would benefit greatly from a topper but a minor point really.

Very cosy welcoming bar and restaurant. Roaring fire in the grate when we arrived. The staff and service was very good and the food was excellent.

The decor in our room was slightly dated. The room was very clean and comfortable and there was a convector heater provided to top up the heating.

Excellent choice of breakfast dishes. Very comfortable clean and comfortable room with lovely views. A very good choice on the menu for the evening. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Dinner - vegan options were nice, limited choice but we knew that. Room was a good size, comfortable, nice view over the valley Staff were friendly Walks from hotel down to river Serwent and / or up to Froggatt Edge were splendid!

Could have been a vegan dessert option Room too hot... didn't spot thermostatic valve on rad until morning! Breakfast disappointing. Agreed with waitress to replace bacon, sausage, egg & hash brown with more beans, mushroom and tomatoes. Got 1 mushromm, 1 tomatoes and a tiny pot of beans. Could have done better without catering specifically for vegans.
