I was really impressed by Ursul Carcotas, great location, very helpful and patient staff, especially being there with a large group (16 people) and they tried their best to accomodate everyone. The food was great if you like traditional romanian food. The rooms were very clean and nice.

It would be good for them to have a couple of vegetarian dish options on the menu. Right now, the only vegetarian options are side-dishes and I think having some vegetarian main dishes would help them bring in more customers

- great staff - ATV rental available - the terrace and balconies have nice view - good breakfast - good and quiet location - the bar is well stocked and has a large variety of drinks - great papanasi

- no sound isolation (walls and door) - the bin in the bathroom and the sink soap dispenser were broken - average restaurant food

The hotel was wonderful. It was even better than expected. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. The owner was the nicest person I have ever encountered at a hotel. He was always friendly and asked how our stay was going every time we walked in the door. He went with us on an ATV trip even though we were late. BTW, I highly recommend the ATV trips as you will be amazed by nature's beauty. Overall, I had a great experience. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting. We will come again!

The owners are grade 20/10. Very cool, young people and nice to chat with. We felt like they are part of our group as friends and not the ones who run things there. The ATV ride is a must! Costs extra but those 2 hours through forest tracks and rocks is amazing. We loved the view from the restaurant, the big round tables that fit 10 people, the game room with pool table and ping pong free to use and the local alcohol. A big plus is that they accept pets. Also the name of the place is very funny and easy to remember: "the grumpy bear"

The rooms are basic with few pieces of furniture. The water was lukewarm in the evening. The food was ok but a tad expensive. The game room wasn't heated.
