Well situated for my destination, very clean and the staff were friendly and considerate.

Parking was difficult as I arrived late evening and had to park on a side street away from the Hotel site.

Además de ser muy bonito, el hotel está limpísimo y el personal no puede ser más amable. En la habitación tienes café, té, galletas, etc. El hotel es precioso y el entorno, tranquilo y muy bonito. El desayuno es espectacular. Nosotros cenamos allí también, y tanto la comida como el servicio son excelentes.

La habitación es bastante pequeña. El baño es grande, pero la habitación era pequeña, con poco espacio para dejar las cosas. La ducha en el baño era fija, no se podía bajar, lo que resultaba incómodo (aunque muy amablemente me dieron un gorro de baño en recepción). El hotel está lejos del centro de la ciudad; en nuestro caso no importaba, porque fuimos allí sabiéndo a dónde íbamos, pero si el objetivo es estar cerca del centro de la ciudad o de zonas donde haya actividades de ocio, igual no es el mejor sitio, aunque desde la estación de tren hasta allí un taxi cuesta alrededor de 7 libras.

Friendly staff. Very quiet location with lovely gardens. Ample breakfast with good selection available. Clean & comfortable bedroom & bathroom.

Bedroom quite small with only one chair so could be a little frustrating for a longer stay. High drench shower which I always find difficult to access if you don’t want to wet your hair!

Quiet area of the city. Place was unpretentious & welcoming. Breakfast was decent. Every single member of staff was friendly & helpful.

I have stayed here regularly over the last 3-4 years and never have I had a situation where I could not get an evening meal. I was told on my check in that there was an event running and there would be no evening meals served to standard guests. Having started my day at 5am in Devon and travelled to Sheffield via a meeting in London this was not music to my ears I was told Uber eats could be an option! not what I wanted to hear. I think the hotel should have informed me there was no food available before I arrived very disappointing stay

Both bedside lamps not working, room dark and window was frosted glass. Disappointed that the room smelt of cigarettes not sure why when notices regarding no smoking. No bean to cup coffee machine outside. Nespresso inside room but fridge with milk outside room! Twice no milk. Good selection of sweet treats
