Looks fairly ordinary from outside but inside is outstanding. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and clean. Food in the restaurant was really nice and reasonably priced.

Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Our room was above the bar associated with the hotel and although they turned the music down it still carried through to our room. But the most unfortunate event was the alarm to the restaurant that went off at 3 in the morning for 10-15 minutes.

staff didn’t advise us we needed to book a table for dinner, shower wasn’t great, broken shower head. key for the downstairs door didn’t work properly.

Lovely young staff who were very helpful both at check in/out and when dining. Can recommend breakfast and dinner. Location was good and in walking distance of the train station and shops.
The room was cold in the evening as the radiator was not functioning properly to dissipate heat. This was reported at the time but the person on duty was unable to rectify. In my opinion, rate should include breakfast.

Great location and the staff were friendly.
Despite booking a double room, it was twin beds when we arrived. We were informed it is advertised incorrectly and they are planning to change the rooms.

This is a inn that have also a restaurant. The room was not big but comfortable and quiet with nice street view. Didn't take breakfast as I had to leave very early to the ferry to Orkney. Nice staff, they gave me the taxi contact to ask for one, which I didn't use. Good wifi

Room met my requirements, Breakfast was an excellent choice, although I would have liked a cereal choice. Restaurant had a excellent range and very varied. It also had a good atmosphere, very pleased.

The rooms are located in an annex attached to the Inn. The rooms are as described and location was perfect. Had lunch and dinner in the Inn and would recommend the food.

Good size room with plenty of hanging space.
Location of room right over a pub, with people smoking, smoke rising up through the windows of our bedroom. Noisy at times during the night.

The price was a little more expensive than expected as it’s a room only . The tv Ariel could benefit from an upgrade
