Our stay at Hanthana House was amazing! First of all, it has a great location - quiet area with a fantastic view, and the rooms were big and clean! The staff were also super friendly and helpful in organising different trips, and they served really good food. They were even able to organise transport for us very last minute which they turned into a trip with several stops for different activities.

We loved the views from our room, well decorated and spotlessly clean. The host was super helpful answering all questions, and helping us with lifts down in to Kandy City etc. Breakfast was also delicious and very filling.

Amazing Owner and Personnel as well as the hotel. The Owner gave us a free update to a deluxe bedroom and also arranged for an early dinner after an exhausting journey from Colombo to Kandy. Dinner as well as breakfast were delicious! Perfect atmosphere to relax from a busy day! Would choose again!

Absolutely amazing place! Don't know where to start. Place itself is beautiful. Very clean and tidy. Feels very homey. The host Pati is an amazing guy. Gave us such a nice welcome and is a very positive guy. We got tea / coffee when arriving. His wife is one of the best cooks of Sri Lankaan food! Absolutely amazing, breakfast, lunch or dinner it's all very tasteful :) We decided to take a hike and Pati joined us, was a very nice day. Then he arranged a tuktuk back, including lunch for us and a guy we met on the way that wasn't even his guest. Afterwards we all had a drink together which he also arranged. Best host ever. Bedroom was very nice, also tidy and very clean. With nice windows and balcony. Bathroom was spacious and hot, steady water. WiFi was very fast! The place lays a bit higher, out of the center so its a nice more secluded place with beautiful view. Thank you Pati for a wonderful time!

It was well designed and the rooms were spacious and modern. The hosts were friendly.

The property is high up on a hill and it can be tricky to go up with your own vehicle as it is very steep. if you have a driver you will be fine. We had dinner and take away lunch at the property which were not too flavorful and very pricey compared to other places in Sri Lanka.

The house is beautiful. it is a new very large home with 5 stories that have been divided for homestay. The rooms were large and their is loads of natural light. the view is amazing as the home is quite high up on the mountain. it is very peaceful and the sounds of nature were a wonderful break from the city noise yet it was very quick tuktuk into the city :)

The place is run by a Couple - Pathi and his wife. They are incredible hosts, the place is very nicely done and Mrs.Pati serves delicious Sri Lankan homely food. They ensure you are comfortable and place is secluded admist nature which is good if you just want to take a break from regular city life.

We came as tourists but left as friends. Super comfy rooms, clean and modern. excellent bathrooms and breathtaking views from balcony and rooftop. Pathi and his team provide all you need, from transport to food, from guide to laundry or just good time chatting about Sri Lanka. we planned to stay one night but ended up three ❤️

Great small place on the hills! Very friendly!

It was a wonderful, comfortable stay. The hosts were very sweet and the food was exceptionally tasty. Cleanliness was outstanding and the beds were very comfy. I haven't slept that well in years.

It's just a bit far from main Kandy but it has a great view so it's ok.

We only stayed for one night, but the owner and the staff made sure we got dinner before bed. They also made us breakfast at 6am before we had to leave. Super friendly and helpful owner! He also gave us some good travel tips.

Paty and all his family welcomed us way beyond expectations! The house is really nice, bedrooms are big and well designed with a big and confortable bed. We got special dinner and we could taste different Sri Lankan dishes. Really really recommend staying here :)

Very clean and spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. We had two bedrooms with a wrap around verranda with gorgeous mountain views and a corridor with table and chairs between us and the kids. There was a tea and coffee station on the same level which was great. Aircon,fans and mosquito nets made sure we were well covered for all types of weather! The owners were very helpful, even sending a car to collect us from the station.

The location whilst providing gorgeous views is about 15-20 minutes from Kandy and it's a very windy road, so not a journey to take too many times. In a tuk tuk at night, it was positively nerve wracking! Luckily there's the owners restaurant on site but nothing else around the location to walk to for snacks or other food options.
