Good breakfast helpful staff; recommended alternative Dolomiten Hugtte restaurant was a pleasant surprise, although a 20 minute drive up very steep winding road from venue (and back obviously).

Restaurant closed in evening so unable to eat on site as planned, noisy farm machinery until very late and again before 0500 made for poor nights sleep

Great forest setting, and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Nice oldy worldy feel about the place. The breakfast was absolutely tops, - very impressive!

The hotel is advertised on Booking.com as offering dinner; unfortunately this is not the case. Perhaps Covid changed that?... Unfortunately we were on bicycles, and after a full day in the saddle didn't feel like cycling 10 km into Lienz and back for dinner, so caught a taxi instead. As it turned out, taxis don't operate after 8pm, so the ordered meal at a restaurant was quickly turned into a takeaway in order to catch the taxi back before 8pm! So, a 30 Euro taxi fare takeaway it was, but we did have a nice takeaway meal back at the Waldhotel in the end, even if we had to eat it with a shared plastic takeaway fork! :)

The single bed for the third person in the room was not very comfortable

Super - Domlomite Lauf was cannleced and all guest hotels cancelled stay. Hotel personel hosted whole hotel for two people who came for Domolite Lauf. Great Staff I recommend and they gave me beer for free :)
