Convenient location for where we were going
The night staff refused to let us back in. The booking was for one room, two guests….however upon returning to the property we were challenged and nearly didn’t get back into the room. I’m addition, no TV in the room and the bed was really uncomfortable

Alejando at the desk… except there really isn’t a desk. Wonderful guy though.
Look it’s cheap but you have rent towels, like it’s a prison or something. Very institutional, like being institutionalized.

Really liked the property. The space was huge and ample enough for me to work from. Staff were helpful too

I liked how there was utensils in the kitchen, as well as a large fridge, cooker and microwave. The studio was really big. The bedding was clean.
I couldn't work the shower, it only went to boiling hot or freezing cold. I was aware before hand that we needed to bring towels, but it could have been helpful to have a bath mat in the bathroom supplied.

The price is great for London! And with these prices you can't expect anything fancy. Considering that, I was definitely happy with Newington Court.
It was OK to check in in the middle of the night.
The WiFi worked fine for me (I didn't stream any films or such, just basic browsing).
The room was a bit smelly and a bit stuffy - maybe due to the carpet? As I visited in the summer, I was able to keep the window open and wasn't very bothered by this.
No tv, no towels (they mention this on the website but I guess a lot of people don't read the info very carefully), no soap in the room. So bring your own towel and soap!

Very quiet, staff was nice, it wasn’t expensive.
when I arrived the room was a mess, there was no linen, no toilet paper. 20 min later they provided it, but linen was extremely old, felt weird, so I had to go and buy my own sheets and blankets. Room smelled funny. Location is not bad, but too far from the tube station, so you have to take a bus and then tube, so costs more and takes a lot of time.

Clean to look at. Everything you need. Comfortable. Friendly staff who are a credit to you. Great value for money.
The room was smelly due to the en suite, not sure where the smell was coming from but suspect shower. When opening the bathroom door the smell entered into the rest of the room.

The room was lovely and clean although no towels or cups etc were provided. We did go down to a member of staff and ask if we could hire towels as states they hire them. And then got told there were none left. Meaning my partner had to dry himself with he's t-shirt ! I had to wait till next day to wash when I got home. Then our bathroom light failed to work.

Terrific if doing a long stay ( I wasn’t) as it had kitchen facilities.
The price was fantastic for London
If doing a one night stay, as I was, it would have been nice to have a coffee/ tea tray - even the option to have one at an extra cost
