It was located near to where I needed to be for work. The staff at reception and in the dining area were friendly and the room was nice and warm and as clean as I need it to be

cleanliness may not be to some people’s liking (I didn’t mind personally) it’s quite difficult to get to using public transport from Hamburg city Center. (this is not the fault of the hotel though)

So the breakfast, is just ok. Plus for good coffe mashine, fresh scumbled eggs, and fried eggs, butrest of the products are rather low quality. When You stay longer in the hotel the breakfast became boring. Well, It is not bad, but definitly can be better. Rest is also ok rooms are spacious, rather clean. There is no problem to park cars, even big vans.

In generall there is nothing bad in hotel ;-) stuff is nice, all is ok. I think if you will work a bit on the breakfast everybody will be really happy.

Bad quality and not good service

The price that I was charged on reception was 20% more than I booked on Booking (there was no online payment option). The girl on receptionist has printed receipt with the price that I’ve booked, however without noticing me charged from my card more. When I asked about it she said that she see such price in her computer and she doesn’t know why there is another price on booking and “that happens “. Also everything in the room was also and dirty, half ful garbage bin in bathroom. Definitely was not 99 euro per night one night stay for 1 person.

we just stayed one night. The hotel is old and lack maintenance bit the staff were very kind.

There should be a fridge and a kettle in the room, then it will make it perfect.

The hotel is old and dated. There were stains on the bedside lamp, radiator and ... the bathroom was very old and broken in places. The receptionist, Erfan was very polite and helpful.

The man at the check-in was very friendly. He did a great job in explaining hotel rules and giving directions around town. The room was large and the beds were ok. Breakfast was little but tasted well.

There were many things broken (toiletseat, windowcurtains, lamp,...). The room couldn’t be made dark do we woke up at 6am by sunlight. Shower was small and had a (old/well used) showercurtain, which wasn’t what we hoped for... What was the worst, is that there was no water available at breakfast. Our son can not drink orange juice or hot chocolate so he always drinks water. When we asked, we were told they have no water, at all! Even the very friendly receptionist took a look around in the kitchen but it really wasn’t a language issue. They just didn’t have water...

Our room was on the 3rd floor (attic), clean and spacious, with almost all we needed for a short stay. It was a quiet room, as we requested. There was a free bottle of water in the room, which is a blessing when you arrive after a long journey, as there are not many budget hotels nowadays that offer free bottled water. The breakfast was good and the staff helpful. There is a Croatian restaurant next to the hotel which we highly recommend!

The heater in our room didn't work properly and only by the second day the room got warmer, so the first night it was very cold. At the reception we were told that no one else complained before about it. So no one came to check it or fix it. For that reason we requested extra blankets for our small children, but they only offered us one. Usually in the cold season there are always extra blankets in the hotel rooms. It's the first time we were told that more blankets will require extra payment. In our booking we requested a double bed and one single. We were offered 3 single, which is not the best when you travel with small children. The shower head was not working properly, there was water leaking everywhere. When we checked out they told us they are going to fix it. The shower curtain was moldy. There is no kettle in the room. An extra information for the travelers without a personal car: the hotel is not in Hamburg, it is in Glinde, which is a small town outside Hamburg. For us it wasn't a minus, it was actually pleasant to be in the middle of nature. If you don't have a car there is local transportation (bus and metro) that will take you to Hamburg, but it's a quite long journey. So the hotel's correct address is Am Sportplatz 98b 21509 Glinde.
