ที่พักเดินไม่ไกล เหมือนอยู่กึ่งกลางระหว่างสถานีกับตลาดเช้า พนักงานบริการดีมาก มีเลาจ์ให้นั่งพัก เป็นพื้นที่ส่วนกลาง มีครัว อุปกรณ์ครบ จะซักผ้าก็ได้ ตอนแรกไปเร็วก่อนเวลาเช็คอินด้วย แต่เหมือนห้องจะโอเคแล้วเลยเข้าพักได้เลย ที่นอนก็นุ่มสบาย ห้องกว้างกว่าที่คิด ได้บรรยากาศเรียวกังฝุดๆ เงียบสงบ ห้องน้ำจะแยกห้องอาบ อ่างล้างหน้า และชักโครก ดีมากเลย มีชุดนอนให้ ที่บ้านบอกใส่สบายมากๆ ส่งกระเป๋าเดินทางจากอีกโรงแรมมา พนักงานรับให้และขนมาให้ที่ห้องด้วย ประทับใจ ติดต่อขอข้อมูลเรื่องเช่าจักรยาน เรื่องส่งกระเป๋า หรือมีปัญหาอะไรตอนเข้าพัก ตอบไวและให้ข้อมูลดีมากๆ แถมตอนจองได้มาราคาถูกสุดๆ คุ้มค่า ถ้ามีโอกาสไปเที่ยวอีกจะกลับมาพักที่นี่

We had the Sakura room on the ground floor. We love the rustic ryokan vibe and it was so spacious. Location was really convenient, everything is well within walking distance. The receptionist was also helpful in answering our enquiries.

Nothing really. We loved our stay. The only thing is reception doesn’t open all day. And there’s no takyubin service. But no biggies really.

La chambre était très jolie avec une literie confortable, car les futons étaient assez épais et les duvets très moelleux. Nous avions un peu froid au début avant de comprendre comment fonctionne le petit chauffage. La réceptionniste a été parfaite, elle nous a proposé un fantastique restaurant de sukyiaki (Hidagyu Maruaki si jamais) qui se trouvait tout près du logement. Nous n’avons passé qu’une seule nuit dans l’hébergement, et nous aurions volontiers fait une deuxième nuit pour mieux découvrir la ville également.

Il faut juste faire attention aux heures d’ouvertures de la réception. Cela demande une certaine organisation vu qu’il y a peu de trains depuis Toyama venant jusqu’à Takayama (4-5 par jours normalement)

One of the rooms was quite smelly which was a pity. I guess its the humidity.

Spacious Japanese ryokan. Very friendly service, quiet nights sleep. Very good location in the city. Cosy lounge. We felt comfortable and at home.

Cozy, quiet inn located 8 minutes walk from the train station and just a few minutes from the old streets of Takayama. The room we stayed in (twin room Asaichi), though small, was clean and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly and gave us good recommendations about dining options. It was nice that we could leave our luggage before checking in. The Wi-Fi and AC worked well.

We opened the window to get some fresh air and someone came to our door telling us to close it because the rain could come inside and wet the furniture, though it wasn’t raining that hard. I found that quit rude, windows are made to be opened…

Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Good location for easy access to the old town area and morning markets.

Room had a slight musty smell. Towels are super thin.
