Beautiful rooms, amazing and helpful staff. You have a pillow menu and can ask for a mini fridge for the room to keep snacks and milk cold. Across the street from the bus station and not far for the train. Beautiful views just an amazing place to stay.

The stairs, but staff offered to help carry my mother’s bags and I kind of enjoyed the extra exercise.

Super easy check in and great value for money, particularly given its location in central edinburgh!

Lovely hotel in a good location, immaculately clean, staff very nice and friendly, bar nice too. Room nicely decorated with tea, coffee, teacakes, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand cream, ear plugs, night eye masks, hair dryer, iron, ironing board and cooling fan. Staff offered to take luggage to the room. Great black out curtains. Great shower.

Room was too hot in Feb but a cooling fan was provided which was great. We were on the 1st floor so stairs not a problem, but wouldn't have liked a 2nd floor room.

Location was great and staff were lovely

Too many stairs, second floor rooms were extremely hot, no information in rooms even though you’re told on your welcome letter and their website to check your in room information, no clean towels in three days - yeah we should have left them on the floor apparently but at $600 AUD a night it would be nice for them to pay attention to this sort of detail.

Great location in the New Town in a quiet area but only a short walk from Princess st and other areas.
