Beautiful and spacious. Better than photos. Only wished we had stayed for more than 2 nights

Property very good

This was the perfect place to stay as a home base to tour the island. The home is spacious, comfortable and very clean. We spent most of our time on the upper deck eating meals and taking in the incredible view. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. Carla was a wonderful and friendly host and very quick to respond to any request we had. We would not hesitate to stay here again.. Thank you Carla!

We had a great stay here. Very comfortable, nice, clean, quiet house. Lots of room for everyone. Great views. Nice to have laundry. Comfortable beds. Nice area if you just want to stay and relax. Chemainus is very nice.

The location was great only a few minutes drive to town or a really nice walk to town. Very clean! Beautiful view of water and mountains and the large deck was very enjoyable. Carla was an amazing host and made our stay very enjoyable! We look forward to staying again the next time we come out west!

We really enjoyed staying here. It was super quiet, very clean and comfortable. The location was great. It's very close to the centre of Chemainus, and only an hour to drive to Victoria for the day. We also did a day trip from Crofton to Saltspring Island. The Crofton ferry terminal is only 15 minutes away. There is more to do in Chemainus than we expected. Beautiful short hikes, lots of shopping to be done in town for art, candy and a great store that sold classic toys and records. If you're looking for a great family get away, I highly recommend this house as your "hub" to the Island. It fit our family of 4 generously. You could easily fit two families of 4 with the kids all sleeping in one room, or one or two in the living room. Thank you again!

We had a great stay. The house was perfect for our group of five, and the location made for quick access to local towns and the Crofton ferry to Salt Spring Island.

This was our second stay at this property. It is a comfortable, spacious, well supplied, home away from home. The hosts are attentive, the house is well maintained, and the view is lovely. Location is very convenient for activities from Victoria to Parksville.

The first thing they did when we arrived was put our minds at ease about the noise (an inevitability with 4 kids!). The house was lovely with lots of room for our family. They even brought in an extra cot just in case we needed it! The location was perfect. A ten minute walk from the ocean and an eight minute drive from fuller lake. The view from the balcony was gorgeous and the breeze from the ocean kept the house comfortable, even with the unseasonably high temperatures. We will definitely be back! Amazing home, all the amenities plus more, comfortable beds, and an incredible deck with a view. We also loved the walking paths close by and the beautiful town of Chemainus. Our check in process was seamless and Carla and Ryan were so welcoming. Thank you for making this our home away from home. We will definitely be recommending this to our friends and family.

Beautiful family home with a friendly family and wonderful view. We arrived just after dark to be treated to a spectacular moonrise. Great start to a peaceful long weekend. Close to trail walks and amenities. One of the best spots in Chemainus. Highly recommend staying here as a couple or a family, feels like a home from home.

Cozy and clean place with awesome hospitality

We had a wonderful time at this property. Karla and Carl were both so lovely and so easy to get along with. The place was beautiful, clean and more beautiful than the pictures show. We will definitely be back!

A beautiful home with a gorgeous deck overlooking Chemanius with a view of the ocean in the skyline. Games, puzzles and blankets provided to make even cozier which was a nice touch. Our stay was with another family and we found we had all the room we required for privacy. The home has 3 bedrooms and each had beautiful linens and comfortable mattreses everyone slept so well. (We loved hearing all the crickets - that’s how quiet and relaxing it is). The two bathrooms made it ideal for everyone getting ready to get going in the morning or at night. Towels were big and fluffy! The owners were easy to get hold of if we chose to reach out and that added to peace of mind for any extra essentials we may have needed. The only drawback was that if you do want to get out of Chemanius (although you certainly don’t need to!) there’s a bit of driving to other attractions. It’s centrally located though so that part is a plus. We would recommend this home and location to our friends. We had a fabulous time!

Wonderful spot and neighbourhood. Great deck to relax on after a fun days at the beach. Perfect location to explore up and down the coast. Lovely home to make yourself comfortable.

We have nothing but the best to say about our stay at Carla & Kyle’s. The space is so inviting and we were made sure to feel like home. All details, even the tiniest, were taken care of before check in all the while being asked if we needed anything more. The view is wonderful, the accommodations cozy yet luxurious and a great location. 5 stars, would highly recommend. Would love to visit again soon :) Thank you again for everything!!
