The location of the condo is perfect, close to restaurants and the beach. The security in building is great, very secure and safe. Amenities in the condo were very good and well stocked, it even came with some beer, condiments, coffee etc. Water was supplied at the desk too. Which was very easy to get it refilled. Everyone staying there was friendly. The staff is very polite and the grounds well taken care of. The beds in the condo were very comfortable, the bathrooms very clean. We were very pleased. We would recommend to others and we may return one day.

This condo is a beautiful and secure building in the Madera district surrounded by quickly accessible excellent restaurants. Very short walk to the beach or to the Zihua waterfront. We had a great time, met a bunch of nice people - both residents and tourists. Highly recommend.

I booked this property when the original property we booked nobody showed up to meet us or, let us in.
However, Jennifer was so fantastic when I booked her condo. She kept in touch with us everyday until we checked in.
When we arrived here Vanessa, the property manager greeted us and thats when my partner broke down in tears. Because of the stress of not having a place to stay 1800 miles away from home, we feel very fortunate to have found this place.
VRBO owes all of their patrones more accountability when this happens.
If it weren't for this condo, our vacation would have been ruined.
I can never thank Jennifer and her husband enough. Turned into a fantastic time all thanks to them.

We loved staying at Jennifer’s casita. Very nice to have two bedroom/bathrooms for four adults. Kitchen was fully equipped and the location was super easy for heading to the beach or out for dinner. Vanessa (manager) was always there for us and was extremely efficient. The condo was very clean and well kept by both the groundskeeper and the folks who cared for our home cleanliness weekly. Overall a great place to stay and we would love to come back!

Madera Neighborhood
We have traveled to Zihua many times and stayed in several different locations, the Madera area fits the best for us. Easy walking to the beach and downtown with so many good restaurants to choose from. We did have our daughter and 5 year old granddaughter stay with us for a week and the pool area is not overly welcoming for kids. Yes, they allow access with no restrictions but some of the regulars make you feel uncomfortable. All in all we enjoyed the property and plan to return for a longer stay in 2023.

Perfect spot
We really enjoyed our stay at Jennifer and Kevin's condo. From the start, when I first booked it, Jennifer was very helpful with answering my questions. During the first week, the coffee maker broke and we had a new one same day. The location in Madera is great, we have always stayed on La Ropa. Our stay here has made us converts. Everything including restaurants, beaches, downtown, shopping etc was very convenient. The only thing I would change is to have a lamp next to the sofa, on the built in side table, allowing one to read there without turning on overhead lighting. Great place. We will be back. Thank you for everything.

Small problem with the check which was resolved quickly. Great location close to every thing you would need , restaurants, beaches, laundry. A 15 minute walk to town which still has a traditional Mexican vibe. Would definitely return.

Home Away From Home
The site is an oasis. The gated pool area is lush with plants and shade. Lounging is peaceful with good wifi and a warm pool. The residents are friendly once you get to know them. Our condo was spacious, but the open living room and kitchen ( no windows or walls on the view side ) allows for humidity and street noise to enter. With the feels-like temperature of 40+C we were too warm at times. The bedrooms had A/C. Vanessa, the general manager was very helpful, efficient and resourceful.
Madera Bay is a gentle 4 minute walk away and Centro is 10-15 minutes. We always felt safe. Playa La Ropa is beautiful and provides a work out hike of 20 minutes duration.
Zihuatanejo and areas are wonderful vacation places with many cafes and restaurants. Prices are well below Canadian standard pricing and the servers are fun and responsive. One can lounge under shade on the beach for a minimum of one $2 beer. The ocean is the warmest we have ever entered, including Hawai’i.

Beautiful Property
Property was beautiful and a perfect location. Vanessa was great, answered all our questions. The unit was clean and the open air main area was fun. The pool was very clean and would have been great to enjoy and cool down after long days in town and on the beach, however after a few days we did not use it as the owners next door made it very clear that we were not welcome. Unfortunately, we will not stay here again due to the negativity we received from them.

A lovely stay in zihua
We spent a wonderful week at La Cieba. Lovely accommodations, great staff, super pool, well equipped in kitchen and throughout.
The location could not have been better, close to beach, restaurants and a lovely short walk to downtown and the pescadore.

Beautiful, clean and safe place to stay!
This was a great place to stay in Zihua! It was very clean and well maintained. Beautiful pool area and overall appeal. We especially loved the open air concept of the living and dining area! We did however like that there was air conditioning in the bedrooms for a cooler night sleep. The overall experience was amazing. We will be back and will rent this condo again!

Great Honeymoon spot
We spent 7 nights at Casa Bella Mia and fell in love with this little piece of paradise. The pool was fantastic and cleaned daily. The daily upkeep of the condo was nice. Inside the unit there were plenty of dishes to cook with. There were plenty of towels to be able to take to the beach with us and we loved the assortment of hats left in the unit to use. It was an easy walk to downtown that we would make daily to explore. Our first day there we went straight to the beach, it was nice how close the beach was. The next door restaurant Margheritas was a nice place to grab our morning coffee and breakfast (we loved the coffee). Vanessa was our contact person and she was easy to work with, she even had beer there ready for us to celebrate our honeymoon and she also had water too of course. The air conditioning inside the rooms was nice to be able to come back home to and turn on when we were ready for bed. We can't wait to plan our next trip to stay at Casa Bella Mia!!

The open air living room lends to a very relaxing atmosphere. The authentic Mexican decor is comfortable and welcoming. Loved the fact that the ocean front was less than two blocks away. Beautiful family friendly beach. There are two restaurants across the street from the complex with many more within a two block radius, as well as a taxi pick up area and lots of shopping. The downtown streets are just a 20 minute walk and then you can walk along the beach front back to Casa Bella Mia. A swim in the condo’s pool before bedtime makes this place a place we want to go back to many times over. Thanks Kevin & Jennifer for the wonderful stay.

Location Location Location
This was our third year in a row going to Zihuatanejo and Casa Bella Mia and grounds at Casa Cieba Condominiums helped make this the best trip yet. Two blocks from the beach, 5 blocks to downtown and more than a dozen great restaurants with a 5 minute walk. The apartment was incredibly comfortable and we always felt secure. Also the other owners at Casa Cieba were very helpful and always willing to answer our questions or give good advice. If you are looking for a great place to stay a great price than look no further than Casa Bella Mia. It will keep you coming back for more.

A great holiday accomodation in Zihuantanejo
We loved the ambience and privacy of CasaBella Mia set in a tropical garden setting.
The unit is spacious and overllooks the swimming pool and entrance,
VANESSA WELCOMED US AND EXPLAINED ALL ASPECTS OF OUR UNITAND WAS AVAILABLE WHEN WE NEEDED INFORMATION.
We felt we were in a comfortable resort but close to the beach and several good restaurants,cafes and public transport and taxis were handy.
casa ceiba is close to the centre of town and shopping opportunities.
We met several of the other owners and guests like us which was a bonus.The overall experience was like a home away from home

Lovely quiet retreat in the heart of Zihua
Bella Mia served us well for a week’s stay in Zihua. We were looking to be close to Madera Beach and to the great restaurants located in that area. This was a great location and the residents were super helpful and friendly. The staff were also very helpful. The unit itself was clean and well equipped for cooking in, although we were a little disappointed that there was no outside barbecue. The best part for me was the pool, which we spent a lot of time in because the temperature was unusually hot & humid for late October. I am only taking off a star because of the lack of barbecue and lack of air conditioning in the kitchen/living room area. Could have used that air conditioning the week we visited.

Great condo minutes from the beach!
My family stayed here at the end of May. The condo was perfect for us. Very spacious, clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. We loved that the bedrooms had AC for sleeping, and that the living room was open air so we could enjoy the beautiful weather. We also loved that it was just a couple minute walk from just about anything you want to do. The beach, markets, and restaurants are all very close by. We had a great time and will definitely be back!

This condo is beautiful, functional and clean. Salvador maintains the grounds and pool beautifully and Vanessa is always available to help with anything we needed. The owners Kevin and Jennifer are amazing ,kind and responded very quickly to any questions we had. We can't say enough about how walkable this town is , restaurants in every direction, beaches , coffee , markets etc. Everyone we came into contact with treated us like old friends . We came to Zihuatanejo for a wedding and chose to eat out for our meals, we never had a bad meal or bad service, and managed to work our way through a lot ,of trip advisors top restaurants. We can hardly wait to go back, and take some family or friends with us. Thanks again :)

Well appointed, quiet and fantastic location.
Very nice 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit in the Playa Madera area. Three minute walk to the beach, 10 minute walk or 35 peso taxi to the Zihuatanejo Mercado (store, vegetable, fruit, other supplies). Complex is safe and secure with a beautiful pool surrounded by chairs and lounges. Most importantly, owners are very responsive to their customers. Prior to my visit they ensured a safe was installed for my valuables. All in all, great place reasonable price, excellent owners.

Paradise Found
My wife and I stayed at Jennifer's and Kevin's gorgeous penthouse for the past seven weeks.
It reminded me of a beautiful hotel we once stayed at in Tangiers, Morocco.
The streets outside were bustling and noisy.
Once we opened the main door of our accommodation, it was like being in a quiet, luxurious, peaceful oasis.
Casa Bella Mia is exactly the same.
The two bedroom unit is very spacious and is set up such that each bedroom, together with a full ensuite , is independent of the other, offering more than enough privacy.
Vanessa, the property manager, met us upon our arrival and showed us immediately how everything worked. There was even a welcome pack in the fridge which included beer and pretzels--how civilized is that!!
The location is perfect since, again, it is very quiet, but only a ten minute walk to the exciting Centro where all the "land" restaurants are located. They are not to be confused with the "beach" restaurants, which are even closer.
There is nothing lacking in both the condo and the surrounding area. A huge grocery store, laundromat , beer store and even a medical clinic are all within walking distance.
Our hosts are impeccable when it comes to answering any question, no matter how trivial.
We are already booked for next winter--only 305 days from now!!

We were 2 couples that stayed at Casa Bella Mia in Zihua for 1 week at the end of January. We were met by Brenda (as Vanessa was busy) when we arrived. Brenda showed us to and through this lovely condo. Vanessa also came up later and made sure we had everything we required and told us of restaurants, how to get to the town, bank machines etc.. and where to find her if we needed.
The Condo was wonderful; clean, comfortable beds and lots of room for relaxing, in a great area of Zihua. Very central to the beaches - 5 minute walk to Madera beach, from which you can walk to town by a walkway, or 10 - 15 min walk to town via the roads depending on how often you stop along the way.
The pool was lovely and refreshing after our day at different beaches. We also found that the other people that were staying in the complex were also very friendly and helpful.
As we were only staying 1 week, we usually ate breakfast in the condo and visited many different restaurants for dinner. We really enjoyed Casa De Vieja (right outside the condo) and all the music that was played each night in various restaurants. Rossy's on La Ropa Beach on Thursday evenings and Daniels on Friday or Saturday was excellent.
The owner Jennifer was great to work and answered any of our questions very promptly.

The apartment is incredibly spacious and close to everything as mentioned in other reviews. We went to Playa Madera (Madera Beach) the first day as it is a quick walk from the apartment. The kids boogie boarded and my wife and I had massages on the beach for cheap. It was the best massage I've ever had in my life. We also checked out other beaches other days and highly recommend them all. Great food served to you on the beach. There's also parasailing, jet skis for rent and floats where they pull you behind the boat. The restaurants put the tables and chairs right at the edge of the water so sometimes waves come up and touch your feet. Incredible feeling. Everything is also close. I walked to get iced coffee down the street at the local coffee shop most mornings. The people are warm and friendly. We are a bilingual family, so I'm not sure how much that helps, but from other people's reviews it seems it is easy to get by without Spanish. In fact everywhere we went people started by speaking to me in English so I think it should be fine.
The only potential downside for some people may be the heat. The two bedrooms are air-conditioned, but the main living area and kitchen are not. The fans help, but it is still hot. The evening rains helped cool off, but it is a tropical environment. We enjoyed it, but as I was sweating every time I cooked in the kitchen.
The owners are great. We emailed back and forth many times. They will answer all of your questions.
Be aware that the images on Google Streetview are old and were taken before the building was built.

We went to Casa Bella Mia in Zihua for 11 days at the end of June and we had the time of our lives. The condo is very clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything you need to cook. Vannessa, the manager, was wonderful and speaks great English, she gave us so much information and was available to us whenever we needed her. The pool is so lovely, I could have stayed in it forever. The grounds keeper, Salvador, was so sweet and keeps everything looking perfect all the time. The two bedrooms have air-conditioning and that was very welcome in the Mexican summer humidity. Across the street is Margarita's restaurant where we had wonderful breakfasts in the morning and Casa De Vieja where we were greeted with the best hospitality ever time we went in (tell Raymundo and Ernesto we said hello from Washington state) . I loved all the beaches and we are only a 3 minute walk from Madera beach where you can get a massage, drinks, food, souvenirs , anything and everything. We are DEFINITELY coming back to this beautiful place and would not stay anywhere else but Casa Bella Mia!!!

We arrived and were met by the Property Manager, Vanessa, who showed us the complex and provided us with the list of expected rules. The complex is very central and it is a short 5 minute walk to Playa Madera and approximately 10 mins to the downtown waterfront/marina. There are many restaurants within blocks, with one very reasonably priced restaurant directly across the street - Margaritas. We had 1 hour massages on Playa Madera for $200 pesos (under $20 CAD), and pedicures at Lilly's Salon across the street for $180 pesos. Playa Madera is a clean and awesome beach perfect for boogy boarding and surfing the waves into shore. There are several great restaurants/bars that allow you to use their chairs/tables for free if you order cheap buckets of beer!
The condo is located near the canal and is a short taxi ride ($25 pesos) away from Playa La Ropa, also a nice beach but very busy and expensive. We spent a day at Los Gatos which is a must! This beach had beautiful white sand and very blue water and can be accessed by boat from the downtown dock for $40 pesos round trip. If you go, walk to the end to the pink umbrellas to Otillos and ask for Franko who is a great host!
The suite was very nicely decorated and had all of the essentials needed to prepare food. There are 2 bedrooms both with air conditioning. The main living area is open concept and looks directly over the pool. Bottled water is provided and the groundskeeper, Salvatore, would deliver the jug right to your door. Maid service and towel change once per week.
Overall, we would recommend this suite for couples or families, though the majority of the people who stayed were older.

The property was fine but we found it too hot as there was no A/C in the living room and kitchen. In the master bedroom the A/C was not working to its fullest capacity. Ziuh is a lovely little town and the beach was amazing with that wonderful salty air and breeze. The only negative for us is that it was too hot and next time we would probably go in January as it is a little cooler at that time. The pool at the complex was a life saver to refresh yourself after being out and it was a nice complex.

4 of us, 2 couples, stayed at La Ceiba. The complex is located in a very good and SAFE area. So close to restaurants, Commercial the big grocery store and a 4 min walk to the beach.
The complex is very secure and clean. The pool is the perfect temperature especially after returning back from a hot day at the beach. The unit is on the 3rd floor overlooking the pool. Beds are very comfortable and 2 fans and an air conditioning unit in each bedroom. Very comfortable for sleeping.
The ktichen is well stocked which makes it easy to prepare meals and snacks.
Management staff on site are extremely helpful and both Vanessa and Brenda have excellent English if you are not well versed in Spanish. As well, Jennifer the owner, has been amazing in communicating right from the beginning before our confirmation of rental right up to arrival. She responds back to emails in a very prompt manner. Excellent service.
I would recommend her property to anyone who is looking to relax in a quiet atmosphere.

The place is absolutely comfortable for 4 people or less, real intimate and surrounded by a natural view. Great for resting and to have a nice day at the pool if you don't wish to get out of the condo. Super close for walking to the beach or to find a good restaurant.
