Efficient, helpful and amiable staff, excellent location and breakfast. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Ghent.

Location is great, breakfast with very good choice and extremely attentive and cheerful staff. Everything is very clean. the only minus: there are no USB plugs in the room, and the plug nearest to bed goes off with the lights :-(, so bring an extension cord and you will be alright! Or check with the hotel, for some rooms do have usb plug

Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid, het personeel was ook daar zeer attent. Het hotel is heel centraal gelegen op een mooie plek aan het water. Alles is te voet te bereiken.

Lekkerste ontbijt op hotel ooit! Zeer uitgebreid en prachtig buffet. Zowel vanuit de kamer als vanuit de ontbijtruimte zicht op water.

De kamer was rolstoelvriendelijk (wat uiteraard ook een pluspunt kan zijn), maar hierdoor verliest de gigantische badkamer een stuk van zijn charme en gezelligheid. Een romantisch badje met twee is in de kamer met papegaai op de muur geen aanrader.

The hotel is well located in the heart of where you want to be in Ghent. Breakfast was fresh and tasty with a variety of hot and cold foods, etc. Although we didn’t use it, there’s a lovely pool available. Staff was courteous.

There are no outlets next to the bed, so if you need to plug in your cpap machine, you will need to use the plug in the bathroom and good luck with not tripping over the cable if you have to get up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. Also, If you want the hotel to take care of parking your car for you—the hotel is located in a pedestrian only zone—you will have to pay them 30 Euros per day plus parking fees. If you choose not to have your room cleaned during your stay, the hotel will offer you a complimentary drink at the bar, but only wine, beer or soft drinks, no mixed drinks. Didn’t love the comfort of the bed or pillows.

Great location to be able to walk around the canals and see the main attractions. Staff were very helpful when our prearranged Uber driver didn't turn up, and booked us a taxi very quickly so we didn't miss our train.

we had a big room with river view, highly recommended, great location, sight seeing is easy on foot and/or by boat, excellent breakfast, very helpful staff, there is also a swimming pool in the summer

access by car is difficult and confusing, you have to drive trough narrow roads banned for driving with lots of pople moving and tram traffic, private parking at the hotel is limited, therefore important to make a reservation

Great location overlooking the canal and easy walking distance to old town bars cafes restaurants and shops. Very comfortable room. Superb breakfast and helpful staff.

Location was very good.

The hotel sent our bag to another room which was occupied and it took an hour of viewing CCTV to locate it. The family room was incredibly dangerous with poor stairs and a 9ft drop from a door with no safety rail or warning notice. Your child could fall onto the road below. The coffee maker didn’t work. There was no milk. The toilet flooded the room as the hotel staff didn’t know how to use it. We requested 4 additional pillows and got 2. The hotel website stated a heated outdoor pool from April. This was not cleaned or heated ready for use despite our visit being the second week in April. The children were told they could use it though - no thank you!!! Our room had zero view and the kitchen area with no running water opened onto a parking space. Most rooms appeared to have outside tables but ours had 1 unusable single chair. My son fell down the dangerous stairs and the hotels response was very poor. The door lock was broken and we had to carry a key with us. Overall the staff dealt with out complaints very poorly. I sent a lengthy email to customer relations to allow them to deal with this as they saw fit and have had no response.

Very luxurious room, felt like a little palace all to ourselves! :-D Nice big walk-in shower, with a few settings. Direct control over the AC, ...

If I have to find 1 downside, I would have to say the TV is a bit small for such a big room, and placed in the side of the room. Maybe a bigscreen above the fireplace wouldn't be amiss?

Owners and Staff were great; hospitable, attentive, helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Location was perfect.
