Super location and one of the best breakfasts I have seen. There is no gym in the hotel but one may use the city fitness center free of charge (walking distance).
Price quite high for a room of that size, but obviously normal for Norway.

The second staff was helpful while the lady was not.
During the check-in, the lady asked as to wait for an hour saying that if you have just book through booking, it take one hour to show in the system and she refused to give us the rooms then she can do it in the system. She was refusing all solutions I propose by saying “It will never show in system before one hour exactly”, then I asked he to take my number and call me once she see it in the system and I left the hotel, she call me after 15 minutes ! Also, no refrigerator in the rooms. she said, the owner decided to remove and refrigerate once it atop working without replacing it. how can we stay in a nice hotel without a refrigerator !

The breakfast here was amazing. The staff were so friendly and helpful.
The rooms are nice but a little dated.

Breakfast room did not have sufficient seating capacity. Buffets were not refilled quickly enough. We were directed to eat our breakfast in a nearby meeting room that didn't get any attention from the staff. Parking was not available daytime due to arrangements for external guests.

The reservation was for a room that could not occupy pets, but the receptionist changed our room in exchange for the cost of the pet fee.

The property is at the waterfront and has a great ambience. View from the room was also quite nice. Very nice breakfast as well. Looked like a traditional holiday hotel.
Minigolf, playground were nice.
Parking area was quite big and comfortable.
The property advertises bowling, kids play room etc on Booking.com but these were not really available. They mentioned though that there was a bowling center in the town and a pool at the local Ulsteinvik Arena. But a correct description on the listing would help set the right expectations.

They did not give us a wifi password. Limited channel on tv.

I was staying at the hotel because I wanted to visit Rundefjellet. It is about 30-40 min drive to Runde and it was perfect location for me. Breakfast is ok.

Service at the restaurant was very poor.
Playroom for kids was good to have but would need some cleaning
