We had an awesome weekend. 3 couples had plenty room to spread out and enjoy each other company. The house is amazing with a mixture of old and new. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable,kitcken is amazing, everything we needed and then some. The garage was sweet, pool table and Suffel board. Had fun even though the wife beat me.Never got to use the firepit too hot outside. The house is a little pricey, but well worth the money. We had a couple issues, but Kerinne was right there to take care of it right away. I will definitely rent again. Thank you Kerinne

Great spot for our family reunion, enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. When toddlers visited there was plenty of room to play inside and outside, including the game room in the garage. Well-equipped kitchen and laundry room. A great stay in Fredericksburg.

We recently took a trip to Fredericksburg to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday. We were lucky enough to find the Herber Haus and shared this house with 2 other couples.
The house was perfect for us! Each couple had their own room and bathroom. The house was spotless and very welcoming when we walked in. The house is very cozy in a good way. We actually felt like we were in a friends home, like there was a familiarity to it.
We had the pleasure of staying in the master bedroom and got plenty of good sleep on a VERY comfortable mattress. The master bath was huge with his and hers sinks as well as a walk in shower. But the closet might have been twice the size. My wife seriously wanted to move in after seeing it.
The house also came with a detached garage that doubles as a game room with a pool and shuffleboard table. Very cool place to hang out with garage doors on both sides to create a breezeway.
The house is also very well located in a nice neighborhood not too far from downtown. We walked one evening to Hondo's on Main without any problems.
The communication from the hosts was great. Provided all the information we needed, checked in to make sure we were OK via VRBO and they also had framed notes around the house with their preferences and helpful information.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would book this house again. Can't recommend this place enough! 10/10

This is a beautiful home in a great location! Our family was more than comfortable and enjoyed the pool table and shuffle board in the garage! The location is perfect for quick access to Main St. Communication with the owner was great and everything was easy! We will definitely be back! The house was wonderful the rooms clean and comfortable.
The kitchen range is off temperature we did a lot of cooking since we had a large group. Also could use new utensils. Like I said we did a lot of cooking.
The kitchen cabinets fronts could use a cleaning.

This property was amazing, clean and open. Check in was awesome, communication was on point. The only thing I would say I personally didn’t like was the fact that the curtains don’t cover windows completely at night, there are no TVs in bedrooms and there’s not enough seating in the living room for as many people as the house holds. We stayed two nights. There is a washer and dryer and they have laundry detergent and dryer sheets! This would not stop me from booking in the future as the house itself is amazing!!

We had a great time here. We had room for everyone and the spacious common areas allowed us to be together but the multiple bedrooms gave everyone privacy when needed. There’s a fantastic game room outside with pool and shuffle board that got used frequently. The fire pit was perfect for s’mores. We will definitely stay here again.

Initially I was concerned about the house. The door was unlocked, and the laundry room was left open with dirty linens that were stinky for some reason...
Overall, we loved the house. It has lots to offer for a group or family. The Rec room which is not attached to the house is really nice. I would suggest perhaps making the back porch covered. Also, watch your step when going on the back porch, this could hurt if your not aware of the big step down.
The areas is really quiet and peaceful.

Herber House is perfectly suited for a family get together in Fredericksburg. The house is wonderful and the activity room in the garage is a wonderful bonus. The property owners were awesome throughout. Overall, Herber House is a property without peer in this area.

Our family had a wonderful time at Herber Haus over the Christmas weekend. It is a very well kept property with lots of space and amenities to keep us all entertained. The guys and grandkids loved game room and the we women loved the updated kitchen for cooking all the meals. The long dining room table was big enough for all of us to sit and eat as a family or play games which we love to do. The house is located off of Llano street and c lose to down town which makes it a perfect location for anyone wanting to stroll along Main Street. Kerinne was very quick to respond if I had any questions and was always willing to help if we needed anything. Loved Herber Haus and you will too!

Really enjoyed a long weekend at Herber Haus. It was 8 adults, so the 4 bedrooms were a perfect size. Nice outside area with a gas fire pit and plenty of chairs. Garage is converted to a game room.
Communication was very easy.
It is roughly a mile to Main Street, so factor that in if you plan to walk.
Again, great weekend and we really enjoyed it.

My family and I celebrated my youngest daughter's 21st birthday by visiting Texas wine country. There was six of us in total, and this home was the perfect amount of space. It was close enough to downtown that we were able to walk there (it was about a 20 min walk), which was convenient. My boys and I loved having pool and shuffleboard tables to help wind down in the evenings. The architecture and details of the home were very well done and the layout was great. Highly recommended!
