Conca Dei Marini is simply "Heaven on Earth." This property is a traditional older villa with sweeping Sea views situated down the stairs from the village, filled with wonderful and warm people who run two restaurants, cafe/ceramic shop, small markets and wine shop. It is perfectly situated in the middle of Positano and Amalfi Center-- the beautiful coastline. To get to the water is approximately 1900 steps one way which kept us in shape daily transversing up and down many, many steps but beautiful views. (There is a shuttle as well). It is worth the decent/assent to swim in the magnificent blue/turquoise sea. The villa is comfortable and spacious-- older Italian villa, with fresh lemon and lime trees to pick in back of the house! The only challenge is that the 2nd bedroom does not have air condition and it was very hot so our adult girls slept int he pull out couch. We would most definitely vacation here again!

Beautiful little Villa with absolutely stunning views. Sabatino is the nicest host, couldn’t do enough for us and has very helpful tips. There is a supermarket and a few restaurants on the street above the villa, go for a cocktail or coffee in the ceramic shop down the road and pick up some beautiful souvenirs. Amalfi and Positano are in easy reach by car. The villa could benefit from a couple of sun loungers but other than that everything was perfect.

We had a wonderful 21 night stay at the Villa and would definitely return! 2 great restaurants and market just a short walk away as well as a pharmacy. The Santa Rosa Bar also a short walk away has delicious pastries, sandwiches, gelato, coffee drinks and adult beverages. Conca dei Marini is a wonderful small town away from the crowds and made for a great home base.
The villa has everything you need and the view from every room and the large patio is amazing! The kitchen has every appliance you need and is well stocked with dishes, glassware, pots and pans. The villa is lovely but could use a little tlc.
Sabatino was a great host and always quick to respond to any requests we had. He has a wonderful wine shop/tourist agency where you can book tours and arrange for any transportation you might need.
Our stay was so relaxing and we enjoyed every minute of it. There’s nothing better than lounging in the sun on your own private patio drinking lemonade you made yourself with lemons picked from the grove behind the house. It was great having a washing machine and everything dried quickly when hung on the outdoor clothes rack. The a/c units worked very well but were not needed very often because there was always a nice breeze that kept us comfortable. When you sit outside the smell of lemon and orange blossoms from the grove behind the house as well as other flowers blooming on the property is so lovely. In conclusion we highly recommend staying at this lovely charming villa!

Peaceful, clean, and absolutly beautiful location and villa. Charming traditional villa in quiet town. Property manager, Sabatino was very accomodating. Several restaurants and cafes around and easy access to nearby Amalfi.

It doesn’t often happen - but the views from this home are even better than the pictures!
The home is very large, easily accessed by a short staircase from a main road (which is not often the case on the Amalfi coast!)
The host Sabatino went above and beyond for us, was incredibly kind and is able to assist with booking drives if needed.
There is a restaurant and market very close - but ensure to plan ahead if you go in off season (as we did) as their hours are limited and you may find yourself hungry lol completely our fault for not planning for the next morning - we were too relaxed! ;)
Conca dei Marini is a very small village, perfect for some quiet and relaxation away from all of the other tourists of the Amalfi coast with stunning views from the private terrace. Amalfi, Positano etc easily accessible by taxi or private driver (or bus if you’re brave!) - consider packing some gravel as the roads are VERY twisty turns and my kids who have never been car sick were both ill (thankfully there’s a small pharmacy within walking distance as well).
Apartment very well supplied with everything you would need.
Cannot say enough good things. Would go back in a heart beat!

We loved our Christmas stay at Casa Gilda. Our host, Sabatino, made everything run smoothly, from check-in to check-out. The house is lovely, set in front of a citrus grove high above the sea. There are marvelous French doors from the main room and both bedrooms that look out over the sea and open onto the spacious deck. The house is equipped with everything you need, and there is a market and pizzeria nearby. For more dining options, Amalfi is only 15 minutes away. We had excellent weather and spent our time hiking (trailhead for Path of the Gods is in a nearby town), taking the ferry and cooking in the large kitchen. Our Christmas couldn't have been nicer. PS - Sabatino even came to our rescue when we took a wrong turn down a narrow one-way street that dead ended! Thanks, Sabatino! We'd recommend this property to family groups and couples traveling together. It's lovely!

This cliffside villa embodies a very personal charm that can only be found when an owner absolutely takes care and devotes prode to details. Sabatino was a great host with timely communications and meeting us on arrival. We arrived with a lot of food and pretty much just stayed at the villa and enjoyed its massive views, fabulous weather and its regional decor. There are couple restaurants, a small grocery, and a fine wine shop across the street. After staying at 8 properties over six weeks, this is the best!

we love the friendly warm atmosphere of the village. There are two restaurants within walking distance. Ninos has good food and friendly good service. There is another restaurant down the road which is also very good. There is a close by grocery store and convenience store. It is very quiet with beautiful views of the Tyrrhenian Sea. The owner Sabatino is a very friendly, interesting person. I highly recommend staying here.

Steps from 2 very nice local restaurants a grocery store with necessities and a very nice coffee shop. 1120 (I counted) steps to 3 nice beaches. House clean, well maintained. Infrequent bus steps away. Frequent bus to Amalfi Positano at Grotto stop. Local bus circuit around and up/down Conca. Conca very base to explore the Amalfi coast.

This place exceeded our expectations. Sabatino and Nunzia were very helpful with just about everything , from excursions to car transfers! The bed was very comfortable and everything was so clean. The views from every room were absolutely stunning. The town of Conca is so quaint and welcoming. It was so peaceful after spending time in the other busier areas. With a delicious pizzeria ten stairs up, a market down the road, and another fantastic restaurant just a short, stair free walk away! We would go back in a heartbeat ❤️

This villa has the most amazing views! We loved the little town, although the stairs to the beach were prohibitive. The beach itself, though rocky, was absolutely wonderful. Like the town itself, the beach is out of the way, small, and a wonderful respite from the overly crowded and touristy Amalfi coast.
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

What a great vacation. Sabatino’s home was perfect for us. Located in the beautiful town of Conca dei Marini, which is quieter than the congested areas of the coast but still boasts great dining and beach areas. Easy walking distance to outstanding restaurants. Pizzeria da Nino, Le Bonte del Capo and the Monastery Santa Rosa. The home itself is amazing. Comfortable, spacious, well appointed and the views… Magnifico!

We had such an amazing stay at Villa Luisa. The property itself is just beautiful. We loved the village too. The views are amazing and it was so lovely and quiet. It’s ideally located close to Sorrento, Pompeii and Capri. Luisa and Anna were both so lovely, friendly and helpful. They arranged a fantastic boat tour to Capri for us that we will never forget. Also arranged for a driver for us to take us on day trips which made the whole trip easy and stress free. They both were so lovely and gracious. Thank you so much, I can’t wait to come back! Ash ❤️

Quiet neighborhood and house, comfy beds (could use more bedside reading lamps), great windows and view, comfy patio furniture. Staff and food at Pizzeria di Nino, a 2 minute walk, were amazing(a highlight of our 6day visit). Nunnzia at the infoPoint next door was super helpful with transportation and tour ideas (loved the lemon tour she arranged) and scheduling. We were disappointed to learn after our arrival that the local shuttle bus was not yet running for the season and that other local transportation options were limited. That impacted our experience of CDM, but we loved it anyway. Much calmer experience than staying in Amalfi.

Our stay at the villa was wonderful. The villa is very large inside and out with a great view of Amalfi Coast. It has everything we need as a family of four. It’s in a quiet neighborhood with two restaurants and a grocery store near by. We had a rental car and drove from Pompeii. But it is much easier and inexpensive to just take the bus if you plan to visit other towns along the coast since finding parking in those towns can be difficult. The hosts are wonderful. They also run a travel agency that can help you with all your traveling needs and plans.

What an amazing villa. What an amazing village. What an amazing vacation. What amazing people in Conca. Do I have enough amazing? No there is more. Our host Sabatino was absolutely amazing. He was available at all times for any questions issues we had. Wonderful stories of the history of Conca de Marini. His daughter Nunzi I can’t say enough about her. My single villa with some friends turned into multiple family members wanting to join, along with “surprise” a wedding. Nunzia and Sabatino found villas for everyone close to us. Nunzia planned a wedding that was”amazing”. It was beautiful with flowers,singer, pianist, food. My nephew now has great memories of his wedding. And best was Sabatino was the photographer. Again all “amazing”. So now that I have so many amazing. Anyone who reserves this villa will have a wonderful experience. A rating of a 10 if I could…

Our stay at this VRBO will always be one of the highlights of our trip. Right from the start Sabatino and his beautiful daughter, Nunzia, set out to make our stay as spectacular as possible. They were so very kind and responsive to any question or request. The views are incomparable. Comfortable, quiet and absolutely welcoming. The location is between Positano and Amalfi. You are literally a bus ride away from anywhere on the coast. Oh, and I forgot to mention the lemons growing right outside the door. The restaurant a few steps from the property is amazing and a tremendous convenience. As you can tell, I loved our stay and can't wait to return. Thank you Sabatino. You are one in a million.

My family and I had a wonderful week in Conca dei Marini. Sabatino and Nunzia were wonderful hosts, they had very quick and helpful responses to any questions we had. The property is stunning, as advertised it was complete with everything we needed to have a lovely stay. The view from the property is very special. Conca dei Marini was a lovely village with all amenities we needed, a grocery store and a lovely pizza restaurant Pizzeria De Nino. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone.

My wife and I loved our time at Villa Gilda for the first leg of our honeymoon! Conca dei Marini is a quiet town on the coast in between Amalfi and Positano. It can be a little difficult to get to the busier towns (there is a bus, but we had some trouble relying on the schedule), but any time we did go to Amalfi we found ourselves grateful that we were not staying there. The Villa is also at the top of Via Petingolo, which means you are closer to the shops and restaurants in Conca dei Marini.
Le Bonta del Capo is a 5 minute walk from the villa, which was our absolute favorite restaurant of our entire trip to the Amalfi Coast. Please say hello to Chef Fiore for us if you stop by!
Overall this was an amazing place to spend the first leg of our honeymoon. We can't wait to come back!

Family vacation on the Amalfi Coast
Amalfi is one of the most beautiful places we have been. This property boasts amazing views of the bay of Salerno. It was very comfortable. And for the most part spacious. There is a huge terrace on which you can have dinner whip admiring the view day and might. There are only 2 rooms in this home. Our three boys were in cots in one of the rooms. This location is less touristed than most and so is fairly quite. However, there are a few restaurants and bars very close by as well as a grocery store and small shop. Be aware that this region is somewhat difficult to get to with winding roads from all directions. Be prepared to walk a lot of stairs if you want to access the quaint local beach. Also be aware that beaches in Amalfi are mostly rocky with little sand. Our hosts were very helpful. Be sure to ask them how to get around by bus (stops very close by, 15 min to Amalfi). They also own a local tourist agency and can arrange personal trips by boat of the area and tours to Pompeii, Vesuvius and other local sites.

Perfect location for Amalfi Coast
This home in Conca dei Marini is in the perfect location for a visit to the Amalfi Coast. From here we visited other, more crowded towns, and we were always thankful to come back to this peaceful place every night. There is a market, a café, and two good restaurants nearby. Conca itself has two beach clubs where you can relax the whole day and watch the boats arrive from Amalfi. The house is exactly as described. There are gorgeous views of the ocean from every room. Nunzia, the property manager, has an office across the street. She was very helpful and responsive when we had questions. Thank you, Nunzia!

Excellent property for large family
Excellent property for large family. When choosing a property on the Amalfi coast space was the number one motivator for my family as we have four children. The small town of conca which is a 10 minute bus ride from Amalfi was perfect. There were no crowds and the size of this home was twice what we could get for the same price in a neighboring town. The pictures do not do this place justice it is even more immaculate in person. The host was available at all times for questions and made every attempt to accommodate anything that came up. The property itself was clean and in good working order. The grounds are amazing with a private lemon Grove and expansive patio. Only 20 steps from the street to get to the property. I would recommend this property to anyone that enjoys space and being outside of the hustle and bustle of a tourist city.

Great villa on the Amalfi Coast
You won’t find a better location. The view is to die for, there are restaurants, grocery stores and services within short walking distance. Amalfi, Positano and other attractions are close by car, bus or boat. Beach is straight down the steps.
