Good traditional cottage accommodation right in the centre of Ashbourne with secure off street parking. Owners were very pleasant, obliging and helpful. We had a fairly small room with ensuite shower at the back of the property overlooking the garden. Breakfasts were very good, cooked to order with a varied selection. We would certainly recommend.
Floor creaked in our room, but realise that this is a period cottage, so not a big issue.

Everything was perfect!! Jane was wonderfully welcoming with lots of local tips and the room, beds and breakfast were all ten out of ten.

We've stayed here once before and it's just a lovely little B&B and Jane and her hubby make everyone feel so welcome, the breakfast is great u get fruit yoghurts and cereal choices, a full English breakfast and toast, a selection of butter or margarine and either homemade jam or marmalade, we literally love it here and being right in the centre of Ashbourne you can go out shopping or on a night out.

The people were so lovely and welcoming. The breakfast was amazing too.
The only thing I could say about this property is that finding where to park was a little tricky but after speaking to the lady that owns it we found it quickly.

dated and dirty bedding clean and on quick glance was acceptable but very dusty, filthy fingerprints on ensuite door looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. food under the bed, cobwebs 😩

We did not have breakfast. we were happy to get away as soon as possible.
Before booking the website reviews were taken into consideration. Unfortunately these reviews did not reflect our experience. Indeed, it was quite laughable to read these reviews and realise they were totally at odds with the reality.
The photograph of the frontage of the property again was well out of date. This website was totally misleading.
The elderly couple running this business are doing there best but it is very dated and does not deliver quality accommodation.
Leaving early the following morning. Both couples, quite independently , chose not to have breakfast.

Breakfast was superb, perfect poached eggs and the location was great with the added benefit of a parking space. Very comfortable room and even though it was on the main road it was quiet.
Bed was a little firm but still slept well.

lots of choice at breakfast, booked the bigger room and it was very comfortable, great bathroom too. Parking free and behind gate so felt secure.
little fridge in the room would be nice, always good for keeping drinks cool. other than that, nice place to visit
