The dinner meal was good and fresh. The dining staff were nice and accommodating. Met an Indonesian front desk staff. So if you have difficulty in speaking Japanese, she can speak English and Bahasa.

No toiletries such as shampoo or bath soap in the room as it is more of an onsen bath place rather than long stay hotel type. You can get the toiletries if you visit the onsen and, of course, shower there. 😁 Breakfast was standard fare and does not change daily

温泉最高でした 料理もボリュームあり美味しかったです 朝食の帆立の味噌汁がとにかくきにいりました

部屋の扉が内開きで重くて大変でしたがそれくらいです

셋째날 아침 일찍 체크아웃 해야 해서 조식(시간 7시30분~8시30분)을 할 수 있는지 문의했더니, 주먹밥을 만들어 준다고 하여, 그리한다 했다가, 다시 6시 30분에 제공해 준다기에 그렇게 하기로 하였습니다. 신경 써주어 고마웠습니다. 조식은 빵 과 계란 소시지와 가벼운 일본식 (회 조금, 곁가지 등)을 제공하고, 석식은 회와 튀김 등과 소고기 찜이 곁들인 일본식 정찬을 제공해 줍니다. 밥과 미소 국물은 셀프로 가져다 먹을 수 있습니다. 음식은 전반적으로 짜며, 회를 안 좋아 한다면 먹을 것이 많지 않은 식사일 수 있습니다. 2명은 만족하고 2명은 불만족했습니다. 욕장은 예전 동네에 있던 목욕탕 생각하면 됩니다. 야외 노천탕은 운치 있어서 좋았습니다. 남탕에서는 계단 내려 갈 때 조심하시길.. 동네가 조용하고 공기 좋아서 여유롭게 쉬는 숙소로는 딱 좋습니다. 온천욕도 즐기면서....

일행 중 불편하신 분이 있어서, 일부러 침대가 있는 트윈룸 2개를 예약했는데, 한 곳은 들어가자마자 보일러 기름냄새가 나서 교체를 요구하여 일본식 다다미방으로 교체 했고, 다른 트윈룸은 난방이 새벽에 꺼져 추웠습니다. 룸 상태가 전반적으로 만족스럽지 못했습니다. 아직 일부 내부 공사 중이었는지 아침 9시 전후로 제법 소음이 있었습니다.

outdoor Onsen

quiet town. very little to do at night.

close location to the waterfall breakfast spread was decent one of the staff had to be commended for being able to converse in English

1)lack of basic amenities such as additional towels was not provided when it was meant for both onsen use and bathroom use moreover private bathroom was provided but had no soap shampoo , so it made the private bathroom abit redundant moreover when we asked for more towels and amenities,staff was less inclined 2)dinner service would be better if the meals were provided one by one rather than whole spread as the Food became cold 3)onsen lack of towels at the onsen moreover we had to pay for lockers outdoor onsen was dirty with flies in the pool (but I guess can’t be helped cos of the near location to the forest) 4)room -we book a 18m2 for 4 ppl, but when we went there, we found out that it was exactly the same room as the 15m2 for 2, hence we had to upgrade by getting 2 extra rooms

it was very close to the waterfall site and the blue pond. we love the traditional futon beds and dinner and breakfast. parking was free. the onsen was good too.

it would be good if the hot spring close at 10am as we were hoping to use the hot spring at 9am for 30 mins before check out
