Exceeded expectations! The property oozes charm and the location is A+! Large, well appointed rooms! The grounds and pool were fabulous.

Beds were a little too firm but not a deal breaker.

Quinta da Espada is really close to Evora, which is a lovely city to discover. You have the feeling that you are in the middle of nowhere but it is only a five minute drive to the city centre. Quinta da Espada offers you the ultimate feeling of peace and quiet. In the two bedroom appartment you have everything that you need. It is authentic, rural and simply amazing. The owners are lovely people with an eye for detail. My kids loved everything about it.

Only one thing was missing, some pepper and salt.

There were only three TV channels, the wifi didn't work in the room, I was under the impression there was a private kitchenette in the room. There is only a shared communal kitchen.

We booked two nights in the two bedroom suite and I wish we had booked a week! The apartment is so beautiful. We loved waking up and opening all the doors and having fresh squeezed orange juice from the farm, along with all of the other breakfast goodies. The pool is heaven, and we enjoyed playing with the friendly dogs insight. The farm is incredibly close to Evora, so we liked being able to get to town easily, but also staying somewhere out of the hustle of a town. I highly recommend this place, the staff was lovely and really helpful. Just remember to stay longer then two days!!

For us, the only downside were the firmness of the beds. We are used to a softer style bed, but have come to learn that the firm mattress is more popular in Europe. We did enjoy having a King bed though!

Beautiful location, only a short drive from the wonderful historic town of Evora. Very kind owner / hostess. Prepared breakfast herself with all kinds of local ingredients. Fantastic beds. Due to Covid-19 we were the only guests....no need to stay away though!
