Comfortable and clean room, super friendly staff, excellent restaurant, great location

Great location right in the centre of Banbury. Lovely hotel, staff were really friendly and welcoming. Room was fine, clean and comfy. We went for the breakfast, both had the full English, no complaints. Would stay at this hotel again.

The only gripe that we had, and it’s probably really silly, the duvet was a winter one and it was just too hot. The bed was a bit small, (very comfy though) but we’re used to a King size bed, just a personal preference.

The room was newly decorated to a high standard, very comfy bed,and clean.

The shower door didn't open fully as the bathroom was so small the shower door hit the sink, shower needs a thorough clean grubby in the bottom corners. No cold water in sink or shower, which i needed for my dog and the shower is old quite awkward to use, it only trickled out when trying for hot water to get to correct temperature. It was sooo noisy, the room was at the front of the hotel right on the main road, I thought after 11pm the traffic would ease up. But if did not I had a very early start thd next day I managed to get 1 hours sleep. Very expensive for the size of the room and the noise.

Scruffy bathroom, very little cupboard space for clothes etc.

Lovely room. Beds very comfy. Linen and towels clean and towels changed daily. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Served by a very nice young man, who was very helpful. Reception staff, also helpful.
