Attic room was very, very stuffy. The worst bed I have ever slept in, or tried to sleep in. Metal sprung mattress creaking and groaning every time you moved. Had to bend your head, taking a shower, due to the low ceiling height. Room not made up for our 2nd night stay, but 2 out of four towels were exchanged. Narrow steep stairs and doors to get to the room. I can't speak for any of the other rooms, only that they were more accessible. If you stay here make sure you don't get room 46.

Very dated, furnishings needed replacing. The bedroom was on the wonk and very creaky. The breakfast was repulsive, the worst I’ve been served (didn’t eat it).

Staff were very polite and helpful and happy Great week away.

The lift is too small to take all your luggage up in one go. We were on the 4th floor. Stairs are so narrow to the 4th floor that you barely fit thru

The Beach Hotel in Brighton is an extremely good family friendly hotel. We felt very safe staying in this hotel. The hotel staff were all very courteous, friendly and helpful. The room was spacious with an excellent sea view, large comfy beds and very clean bathroom. The Breakfast Room was clean with friendly staff and an excellent choice of food. During the night the hotel was very peaceful with no unwanted noises to disturb our sleep. All round it's an excellent hotel in every respect. We will definitely stay at this hotel again next time we are in Brighton.

Die Lage war perfekt. Direkt am Strand. Toll! Wie haben auch Adapter bekommen, weil wir unsere vergessen haben. Der Empfangsbereich war sehr schön und modern.

Das Hotel ist sehr alt und heruntergekommen. Es sollte unbedingt renoviert werden. Alte Teppichböden, schmutzig, alles schied und wackelig. Das Frühstück war ok, aber die Teller und Tische und das Besteck war alles schon sehr alt und dreckig. Es ist auch sehr hellhörig (Straßenlärm und Lärm aus den anderen Zimmern)

Location was amazing, the staff were really friendly and happy. There was an amazing restaurant next door. The room is serviceable and clean. The soap and shower gel and shampoo were nice.

The windows were very small as we were in the attic space. However everything was neat and tidy and clean even if a little old fashioned. It would have been helpful to have some bottled water as the tap water was not safe to drink. The hotel warns you not to drink it. That said there was plenty of tea and coffee plus a lovely big kettle. The lift was old fashioned and fits a maximum of two people in. Once I got used to how it worked it was fine. It would not be good for a wheelchair user.

The hotel is in a brilliant location. The rooms was clean and had everything in it that I needed.

The decor in the lobby was fine, but the room was a bid faded. The door handle was a shocker which as a single woman travelling is an issue.

Staff were very friendly and efficient. The property is obviously going through a refurb and will be lovely once complete

Good value for money. Bed was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and was amazed as it was included in the price. Was expecting a continental but it was a full cooked breakfast

Lift was a bit dodgy and as we were on the 3rd floor we had to use it. Room was a bit small but it was adequate

The room was comfortable. Breakfast was available from 8-10am. Large bed. Room service available. Many hotels don't allow food in the rooms so this was nice. Restaurant very good seafood. A fan available in room.

It's a bit tired but good for 2 stars and the price. No internet in rooms is a BIG problem for me. Only in the lobby.

We had a basement room under the reception. But the reception area had wooden floors so the noise of the foot traffic keeps us awake. It needs extra noise insulation.

The hotel was spotless and the staff were exceptional. Our room was roomy warm and comfortable with plenty of extra bedding if needed. Breakfast was very good with a varied hot and cold buffet menu.

Great breakfast, friendly staff, and location. We had a see view which was good.

Not one of their better rooms, furniture was a little shabby. The bathroom was tiny, and other rooms were much larger with baths
